Build your streaming career. I don't understand why some pros there that has massive clout doesn't streaming at least once a week. Make YouTube videos.

Building brand and future career is important too imo. nAts is the only emea pros that constantly streaming from what i see.

Therefore, go streaming. I'm tired watching tarik with his mid gameplay lol

NA streamers are way more entertaining in english than any emea pro, thats the problem, and there is no EMEA community no funny personalities etc

they can but not enough to be entertaining, also most EMEA pros are really not that fun or outgoing personalities in NA there's always people duoing with each other, watch partying games actually socializing trying to be funny etc,in emea no one is even trying

its not possible because most EMEA pros don't have a personality. you either have to have a personality to stream, build a brand (like scream did as the headshot machine) or just be the best in the world.

i mean its not about not having a personality, ive watched a lot NA steamers and literally everyone acts almost the same, literally anyone could fit in and act like they do but most just dont care enough to act like that for the stream

Yeah this is quite true

They just need to speak english often, so english speaking viewers can engage

Literally every NA Valorant pro stream: listening to rap while once in a while signing the lyrics and shouting "bro!" "sheesh" "no glizzy" and laughing/shouting at dumb teammates or enemies.

It’s a language issue. NA (Canada + US) has almost 100% English understanding among the ppl on twitch and it has a lot of people who want to watch streamers. Thus NA streamers have a big fanbase of interested people who can understand them.

On the other hand EU streamers can only appeal to the fraction of their interested parties. If Nats speaks Russian on stream, he’ll be unable to tap into the viewership of all the non-Russian speaking viewers. If he speaks English, he can’t get all the Russian people who might want to watch but don’t know English. Same goes for people from any other country. This same logic is applies to why EU ranked can be so difficult as well. More languages divide the population, so communication is harder, which means misunderstandings that cause frustration, and thus more toxicity from said frustration.

Apac overcomes this language barrier a bit by having large interested populations in specific regions (like Japan or Korea). That’s why certain Japanese streamers speaking their native language can get such a large viewership for Valorant.

It’s really an interesting phenomenon but definitely not the consequence of EU streamers falsely being stated as less personable.

Time zones also play a big part in denying cross regional viewership. Nats is on early morning where I live, so I can’t watch him because I have work. On the other hand, Zekken streams at night after I’m home, so I can tune into his stream often.

Thus EU streamers speaking English and streaming at normal times for them can’t tap into the interested NA fanbase much.
