Former TL and manager here, tips:

  1. Research the company well, and find out about your role
  2. Look at the opening's requirements and write down how you meet or exceed them -- writing it down will help you remember them. No need to rehearse them, just remember them as to talk about them in a casual manner

prepare some examples

  1. You love team work
  2. You are great at receiving feedback
  3. No need to smile, but it helps
  4. Listen first, don't interrupt (or not too often)

Don't be afraid of going back to previous points if you have something worth saying about them, just because the interviewer has passed that topic, doesn't mean you can't speak about it

These are just meant to build on your knowledge, once you have these, you'll feel comfortable answering other questions. Being prepared helps with confidence.

Good luck!

Most interviews go like this:
#1 Talk about yourself and your past jobs
#2 How your past job experience applies to this new job
#3 an example of a problem you solved in your old job
#4 ask the interviewer detailed questions about the new role

Just have a basic idea of what you will say for those points

Is funny because here in Japan if you tell that you worked at McDonalds you can easily get contract at any company lol.

Have experienced based examples of the job's experienced based examples of the job competencies.

For example, if they ask you about teamwork, don't just say you're good in a team and you like people cus you're friendly or some shit.

Give an example of a time where you've demonstrated great team work and what the result was. Even if it's not from a work situation, real world examples >

The interview for my job was really easy but I think I can share some knowledge. Half of this may be completely wrong
idk

Obviously, an employer wants to know about your past experience, but that can all be read on a transcript, you want to give the employer your perspective they cannot achieve without listening to you. I don't know what kind of job you are applying to so I cant speak to what that may be, but its good to think about

Something I think is overlooked is that:

An employer wants to be able to see that you can become the employee they want you to be. A good employer knows you probably won't be a great worker off the bat. So the best thing to convey is your potential and you are flexible and can improve as you work.

For yourself during the interview I guess just:
maintain eye contact, talk slowly and clearly, you don't wanna be completely blank either, make sure to show emotion in your answers and convey interest in your work through your listening

Yeah, at least when you're foreigner.
If you worked at McDonalds most companies will easily accept you.
Most foreigners find it funny because in other countries if you told that you worked at McDonalds people gonna laugh at you, but here is different.

I think it is important to not just talk about yourself. A lot of people simply list their achievements or qualities and think that is enough. You want to market how You can help the Company and what qualities or experience you have that will benefit both you AND the company. I would research the position you are applying for and know a lot of information about the company itself. I spoke to the person that hired me and they said that simply my knowledge and research on the details of the company showed interest and made me look passionate about the job.

ALSO, when answering questions, do not be afraid to take a moment, form your thoughts for your answer, and then speak after the brief pause. It looks a lot better to take a moment and speak cohesively than to respond immediately with a jumble of words. Good luck I wish you all the best! < 3
