there are obviously alot of players with 1000s of hours of CS and Val but never amounted to anything - kids in Immortal lobbies who neither have a stream nor went pro now making money through crypto betting/throwing on streamer games and making $$. yall hate them or respect the hustle?

i mean alot of people if they had a chance to make money while playing a video game - would love to do it. Not everyone is lucky enough to be tarik or tenz to blow up. Not to mention people like Marved have thrown lower tier CS games before they became main stream. I am not the one to judge

it sucks and is bad content (both the throwing and the players complaining), but at the end of the day it's just ranked. If they start doing it in officials then we have a real problem, which is not unlikely. Because why would you stop if you already broke the seal of doing it at all

#7

yes because totally someone would invite a person who is throwing ranked to their official team and also them go out of their way to lose purposely a real game which will make they hate him even more
you really have a frog brain mbappe

free agents team exists.
like i was saying..... how do you even know if that person has thrown ranked games before.
unless they do it on their main account or get caught

you are talking like we forgot that a certain somebody threw in another game

brother in christ what are you even saying. just because there are FA teams you just cant simply join the team. someone is going to invite you, which has high chances of that person being your friend which returns to my point of noone is going out of their way to throw official matches just for some little money and destroying your reputation and possibly your friendship
and like i said you cant know but it will be obvious once you throw

also throwing in officials probably will never happen since it only happens to streamers

explain this then: how does the thrower know the outcome of the game? what if there are throwers on the opposite team too

#10

i think this is streamer games, so only radiant level ranked players have the opportunity to stream/queue snipe which makes the probability of having 2 throwers on opposite teams in the same match very low.

u can buy radiant accounts easily

#14

no lol, you might find some imm1 accounts tho

  • those people throwing for money are group of friends so they are probably throwing matches from different streamers everytime so 2 in the same match is hard

if crypto throwing is so easy to do ---> more throwers will join ---> there will be throwers on the enemy team

obviously it is wrong. you are creating difficulty for someone else, not only yourself. don't they feel guilty? but at the end of the day, half of the problem is the system which enables gambling - enabling addiction, wasting money, goes against the teachings of Allah most of all, you can argue but do some research and realise whatever rule Allah tells us to live by, is best for us, just have an open mind. don't get me wrong, they are also wrong for enabling their desires and getting money unlawfully, at the expense of other humans but also against Allah.

Don't you think you're angering Allah by hurting your fellow brother, who was created with the same love and perfection as you?
you may think its just a ranked game but imagine the same thing happened to you, and im not talking about just ranked, this is about your etiquette with your friends, family and people who you interact with.

in Surat Ar-Rahman, Allah says in ayah(verse) 60 "Is there any reward for goodness other than goodness?".

in surah Ahzab ayah 58 (And those who hurt believing men and believing women without their having done anything (wrong), they shall bear the burden of slander and a manifest sin.)

that it is forbidden (Haram) to cause any pain, harm or hurt any Muslim without a justification recognized by Shari’ ah.

In a hadith:
it was asked to the Prophet of Allah(Peace Be Upon Him):
"O Messenger of Allah(PBUH), what is backbiting?"
He(PBUH)said:
"It is when you mention something about your brother that he dislikes"
It was asked:
"But what if what I say about my brother is true?"
He(PBUH) said:
"If it is true, then you have committed backbiting about him, and if it is not true, then you have slandered him."

in another hadith:

Sahih Muslim (2581)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said to his companions:
“Do you know what bankrupt means?”

They said:
"Among us, the one who is bankrupt among us is the one who has no money or wealth"

He said:
“The one who is bankrupt among my ummah(people) is the one who will come on the Day of Resurrection
with prayer, fasting, zakah(alms tax)

but he will come having insulted this one,
slandered that one,
consumed the wealth of this one,
shed the blood of that one and beaten this one.

They will each be given from his good deeds, and if his good deeds run out before the scores have been settled, some of their bad deeds will be taken and cast upon him, then he will be thrown into Hell.”
---------------------------------------------------------------
from one of the scholars commenting on a Hadith:

“Whoever harms [others]”
“Allah will harm him”
“Whoever causes hardship”
“Allah will cause hardship to him”

Al-Qaari (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

“Whoever harms [others]” means harming a believer, and being the first to stir up trouble.

“Allah will harm him” means: He will requite him for his action, by way of making the punishment fit the crime.

“Whoever causes hardship” means by opposing someone and showing hostility towards him,

“Allah will cause hardship to him” means He will punish him.

End quote from Mirqaat al-Mafaateeh (8/3156).

Secondly:

The questioner says
“but people are harming others at present, and Allah is not harming them”

; this may be answered in several ways:

-1-

There is nothing in the hadith to suggest that the requital for this harm must be in this world; rather the basic principle regarding requital is that it will take place in the hereafter, which is the arena of requital, although Allah may hasten whatever requital He wills to whomever He wills of His slaves. Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror]”

[Ibraaheem 14:42].

--------------------
in conclusion be very careful for how you treat people, since one day, out of nowhere you will be perceived with an affliction(in this life or the next) that you will ask yourself
"why did this happen to me?"

but, at the end of day, Allah still says:
But whoever repents after their wrongdoing and mends their ways, Allah will surely turn to them in forgiveness. Indeed, Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
