I’m a giants (football) fan

ORG OVERVIEW
-Giants Gaming, previously known as Vodafone Giants, are a Spanish esports org founded in 2008. They operate out of the city of Malaga
-They’ve competed in CSGO, CoD, Fifa, Fortnite, R6, Valorant, and the EU LCS. However they are no longer in CSGO, and did not make into the LEC.
-Their Rainbow 6 Siege roster has seen some relative success, and their Valorant team has seen some relatively strong finishes and pulled off some upsets.
-Giants currently competes with many other spanish orgs that were accepted into the EMEA League, such as G2, Heretics, and KOI.

ROSTER HISTORY
2021
-Giants first picked up the orgless/ex-prodigy roster that had made a run in First Strike the previous year, and intended on entering the first season of VCT with the lineup of:

-happy
-hoody
-pipsoN
-meddo
-boo

-Going into the first stage of challengers, Giants would be denied a spot in the closed qualifier with a Ro16 loss to Fnatic, and would lose again in the next qualifier with a terrible upset against F/A roster animel. This ushered in a roster change that saw happy be replaced with Fit1nho.
-With this new roster they would claw into playoff qualification, but fall short with a tough loss to Dfuseteam, ending their chances of attending stage 1 masters
-In the second challengers stage following masters, Giants would again fail to qualify for playoffs, with losses to Acend and Vitality in the Ro16 of the open bracket, ending their chances of qualifying for Iceland and international competition.
-With this loss, pipsoN would move to a coaching role, and MOLSi would be brought in as a new 5th. Giants would have one more opportunity to qualify for a masters event in stage 3
-Entering stage 3, Giants again faced a Ro16 loss to Rixgg, causing the org to make the drastic decision to bench boo and MOLSi, and bring in Davidp and Ambi as stand-ins.
-With this roster, Giants would make a deep run. They went all the way from Ro128 to closed upper semis without dropping a map, and continued all the way to the Grand Finals of Challengers 3 where they would lose 1-3 to Liquid. Their high placement had secured them a spot in EMEA Challenger playoffs
-Giants would lose to Oxygen in their opening match, and send home Navi and Guild in the lower bracket, before losing to G2, ending their chances of qualification to Berlin. Due to their lack of circuit points, Giants would be unable to attend LCQ and ended their VCT season in August.
-Giants played some offseason tournaments with their new roster, but would end up releasing all of their players with the exception of Fit1nho at the start of 2022.
2022
-Giants would build a new roster around Fit1nho, and the new lineup would be:

-Fit1nho
-russ
-Jesse
-Quick
-MONSTEERR

-With this new roster, Giants played in the VCT open qualifier, but lost in the Ro32 both times, ending their chances of competing in the main group stage of the 2022 VCT. Instead, they opted to play in the spanish VRL.
-In the VRL, Giants secured the #1 seed with a 7-2 record and qualified for playoffs. They would go out in semifinals after being swept by Case Esports
-During the break between splits, Kiles would replace MONSTEERR, and ShadoW would replace Quick. In the second season, Giants would end in second with a 12-6 record, again qualifying for playoffs, but would again lose in Semis to UCAM Tokiers, ending their VRL season and effectively ending their 2022 VCT-sponsored season

ROSTER MOVES
-After it was announced they made franchising, Giants benched ShadoW, and released the rest of their players except for Fit1nho.
-To build a new core, Giants picked up nukkye and hoody from G2, rhyme who was returning from a stint in NA, and Cloud who had been released from Navi. pipsoN would also make his return as head coach. The VCT database says Russz is their 6th player.

All of the EMEA teams have been completed and I’ll be providing an addendum and megathread shortly with all updated rosters and changes made for the Americas and EMEA Leagues. I’ll be doing Pacific next. EMEA has taken a lot longer than I would have liked it to, and I hope Pacific will not take as long. Thank you for your continued patience and support.

outside of some of the very large North American orgs, I've had difficulty finding credible sources on each organizations net worth, annual revenue, and profitability, and a lot of those require attaching a tangible value to each roster, which means effectively leaking player salaries

It's safe to assume that every org's roster is worth at like 300K USD (50K salary minimum x 6 players) and theres more money on top of that from the stipend riot provides

The Gians team started with a Spanish team since the beggining of Valorant, 2020, with players like Fitinho, Yurii and Jonba who competed some Ignition Series against T1 teams like in Allied Sports Odissey with for example 1-1 against the best G2 but no more success to European level.
In VLR they are ex-Giants.
Good job.
