TH has a crazy good logo and now they have crazy good players
TLDR
-Team Heretics is a spanish org founded in 2016 that competes in LoL, Fortnite, and previously CSGO. They got their start in CoD
-They won first strike and made it to the finals of masters 1 before falling short to Acend
-After this loss the squad would be unable to qualify for any other playoff brackets for the remainder of VCT, and did not qualify for LCQ. The roster also became a bit of a revolving door during this time
-Going into 2022, Heretics were relegated to the VRL spain after failing to qualify for VCT groups. They would end the first split 1-8, and end the second split 7-11, failing to qualify for playoffs in both of them.
-Since then, major roster moves have been made ahead of the 2023 VCT season. Mixwell has been brought in, and there are rumors of L1NK and zeek joining as well (although the rumors are unconfirmed)
ORG HISTORY
-Team Heretics was founded in 2016 by youtuber Goorgo. They are a spanish organization and have built themselves up in the spanish esports scene very quickly with the signing of multiple rosters
-TH currently competes in League of Legends, Valorant, and Fortnite. They previously retained a CSGO roster. Heretics also has entered the LEC for the 2023 season after taking Misfit’s spot.
-In 2019, footballer Sergio Reguilon would partner himself with Team Heretics, marking his first venture into esports
-There are no public listings for Heretic’s net worth, equity, or revenue. However, they maintain a steady social presence with over a million twitter followers and youtube subscribers

2020
-Heretics got their start in the ignition series ahead of First Strike. The roster at the time consisted of

-lowel-After winning both LVP Genesis cups, Heretics would take to the open qualifiers of First Strike. They would lose in the first set to NiP, but would make a return to the second open and tear through the competition, securing a spot in playoffs with a win over Team Finest
-Even after qualifying, TH would continue to get reps in other tournaments, such as GameGune.
-In playoffs, they would take down Liquid, G2, and beat SUMN FC (future FNATIC squad) in the grand finals to win First Strike, solidifying themselves as the best team in EMEA
2021
-Going into the first VCT qualifier, Heretics brought in RUBINO as a 6th man, frequently filling the spot of nieSow. Heretics would suffer an embarrassing Ro128 loss to Entropiq, but would tear through the second qualifier to earn a spot at the first European masters.
-At masters, Heretics would take down Ballista, NiP, and Guild to secure a grand final match with Acend.
-They would lose 2-3 in a Bo5 match that was considered one of the best for its time, and gave Heretics a second place finish at Masters 1.
-Going into Stage 2, nieSow would officially depart the roster, rounding out Heretics to just 5 players. Now competing for a potentially international slot, Heretics would enter the open qualifiers of Challengers 2
-The squad would face early losses to Alliance and Opportunities, knocking them out of the first qualifier, and a loss to G2 in the second qualifier would knock them out of contention for Masters 2. This was a low point for Heretics and brought about some serious roster moves
-Over the break between splits, Heretics released all of their players except for lowel. They would sign MONSTEERR, ardiis, al0rante, and PaTiTek as their new roster. Heretics, entering the final challengers stage of the year, would be:

-PaTiTek-In the first qualifier of Stage 3, Heretics would go out early with a Ro64 loss to BK ROG.
-In their final chance for qualification, they would claw their way into the closed qualifier,but face back to back losses to Tenstar and Vitality, ending their chances of attending Berlin.
-Due to their poor placement following Masters 1 and the rise of other teams, Heretics would not attend LCQ
-Over the offseason, ardiis, MONSTEERR, and PatiTek would all depart the org, and they would rebuild around al0rante and lowel going into 2022
2022
-Going into the new VCT format, Heretics would sign mertz, TENZKI, and Bromas to round out their roster. Unfortunately, they would stumble in the VCT groups qualifier, and would exit in the Ro64. Due to the new format, they would not get another opportunity for the rest of the year
-Instead, the squad was relegated to the Spain VRL. At this point al0rante would leave the team and be replaced by PoPiFresH
-The team would start an abysmal 1-5 before signing Keloqz, but it was too little too late. Heretics would end the first VRL with a 1-8 record
-Due to their poor placement, they would be put into the demotion bracket, but would survive elimination and attend the next VRL split
-In their second split they finished outside of playoff contention with a 7-11 record, ending their chances at attending VRL finals
-Following the conclusion of the VRL, more roster moves would come for Heretics. The new squad would be:

-keloqz
-snikk
-grubinho
-lowel-They most recently played through the Redbull Home Ground EMEA qualifier, where they finished 3rd-4th following a loss to KOI in the semifinals, denying them a spot at Redbull HG
