This sets some bad precedent

Don't get me wrong, I am excited for this roster, But, there's only 25 spots for NA and we are already saturating the space more with imports and BR/LATAM players. The crazy part is that every time a BR/LATAM players plays well on LAN you can just sign them for less money, with no limitations/restrictions from riot! That's crazy to think about. NA should have been given more spots or there should have been some restrictions for signing foreign players, no?

If anything riot allowing Russian players on Stockholm servers is worse than this

give them their own moscow server that others from emea cant join in return for russians not being able to play in other servers

they should do this with chinese players as well (i think this would allow them to release val in china as well, so its a bonus)

What makes you think the LATAM/BR orgs won’t also sign NA players? There’s currently a larger pool of proven talent from NA, the only thing that I could see stopping them is if there are serious language barriers

It weakens the legitimacy of giving BR / Latam slots.

Especially if keznit leaves. Basically 3 of there best players are no longer in the area.

True. I'm not fan of imports unless its like good player to region that has a lot of space. But NA already having 3 imports for their 5 franchise teams isn't the best IMO. But that was going to happen with Americas. If there's good LATAM/BR talent NA teams will happily take them in.

Just accept that LATAM/BR/NA are now the same region, you don't need restrictions because a player from Brazil is from America like one from the United States or one from Chile, Colombia, Canada, Mexico, etc
