M3C/FPX/(NAVI?)

With the uncertainty regarding the upcoming 2023 season and various rosters, I'm genuinely curious what would a roster between the talent of these 2 teams look like.
M3C is probably going to explode so I'm wondering what a new team with these talents look like, or even with Navi players

I think Ange1 will retire after this year. Maybe not. If that happens, Redgar can fill in his position.

i hope navi sign some of m3c players, so the line up would be cloud, nats, sheydos, redgar, jady/chronicle.

32yo (He are going to complete 33yo during Champions)

Realistically you would need to make a mixture of nAts, Sheydos, Redgar, Chronicle, Cloud, 7ssk7 and Jady.
Redgar would be must for IGL
nAts would be must for sentinel
but rest is kind of hard. I guess it would have to be nAts, Redgar, Sheydos, Chronicle and 7ssk7, but Cloud is insane as well. And Jady with some time could be really good as well.

He started to compete in a whole new game when he was 31 what makes you think the simple fact that he is 33 is gonna make him retire

Why is Nats a must fro sentinel, Suygetsu’s form
rn it’s just as good if not better

Shao and Chronicle are the only musts imo

so?

he's kinda old to an esports pro player (He was the oldest one in the last Masters, FNS was the second being 30yo)

Some researches about pro players career longevity says that: "The general statistics say that the average professional player ends his career at the age of 25. If you compare this to classic sports or normal working life, this is an incredibly young age."

BUT, he can be in competitive scene as long as he want too, since he feels ok about it... I'm not saying that he NEEDS to retire, just giving some information

Chronicle and Shao are a must

Then we’ve got Nats/Suygetsu for the Sentinel repel and I really don’t know who to choose here, if we are talking about current form then definitely Suygetsu. It also depends on if we are allowed to let the players learn new roles cause if yes this are the two players with the biggest raw talent with Chronicle and Shao. So if role changes are allowed I would keep Nats on sentinel and have Suygetsu flex cause his aim is better

Redgar/ Ange1 IGL I really don’t know who is better tbh. Similar case than Suygetsu and Nats

And then for the fourth/ fifth (Depending if we want Suygetsu and nats both or not) I think judging by current form it has to be Sheydos and/or Cloud who are really really underrated imo and have a really nice future ahead of them if their English is good which I don’t really know

He is IGL tho, his job is not to kill, enough beats in his team. Plus with Franchising coming in and being at the top tier of global competition like he is rn there is no way he retires unless he is forced to because something like war or something idk

Oh, no! Not 33! How will he sit on a chair, move his mouse, and click some buttons. Way too boomer for that.

Come, on, yo. This isn't 2005. We should all know by now that playing esports like CS and Valorant isn't about reaction speeds (which don't even substantially drop off until you're in your 50s anyway). Crosshair placement and gamesense don't ever really leave you as long as you're playing consistently. Angel can play for years yet if he wants to.

true I think it's more psychological. As time goes on you are more likely to hit a slump, maybe you get benched. And at that stage of life, do you really have the mentality and resilience to grind back to the top? I wouldn't be able to at that age, but as long as you're in a good environment you can keep going I think.

I mean yeah that is possibility, but I believe pretty strongly that they will make it. And if they didn't make it I feel like this team would almost certainly be picked up as whole unless they perform badly in Champions. Like people talk about M3C picked up as whole, but FPX Stage 1 EMEA winner, Masters 2 winner and now going to Champions.

ultra mega power blaster giga Bruh moment... Read it again man

I said that for the AVERAGE AGE of the pro players today (including they retirement age choice), he's old and it's not my pov, it comes from a research in pro scene ANALYSIS...
Never said that he NEED to retire just because he's 33, or that his abilities are worse cause of his age, I'm just giving a reason to him retire IF HE WANTS TO, as I said:

he can be in competitive scene as long as he want too, since he feels ok about it

I watched an podcast yesterday with a BR cs1.6 legend called cogu, he said that he stopped to play cuz he had a child, after that and his priorities changed (after having a baby, he still played a little bit more until retire at 33yo)... ANGE1 maybe could want to be more time with his family since his home country is involved in a war (sadly), it's a possibility of his choice of retirement

how does this matter ? will he be disabled the day he hits 33 ?

nothing will change, he can retire if he has no passion / time for the game anymore

Yup... Look what's happening with f0rest, olofmeister, fnx, freiberg, etc

f0rest: 34yo - F/A for the first time in his career
olofmeister: 30yo - Benched in FaZe since January
fnx: 32yo - Retired and started to coach Imperial
friberg: 30yo - No one is looking to sign him in

oh my god a 33 year old still playing at the highest level and IGL-ing his team to win a LAN and winning his own region too (stage 1)?
Holy shit he needs to retire instantly, he's basically a fossile, why would he continue playing when he's still a top tier 1 IGL ???
