I'm unsure why people think this is a promising signing because wasn't L1NK the weakest link (😉) in Liquid? Like statswise he doesn't perform that well?

L1nk definitely wasn't the weakest.
He was a huge anchor and always turned up when he was most needed.
Honestly think he was the most important piece to the puzzle

L1nk was okayish in stage 1 and terrible in stage 2. Soulcas was trash in stage 1 and became a GOD in stage 2. Tough choice

I started to lose my respect for Acend's technical team. I hope I'm wrong but with Zeek being benched and replaced by Link "and Vakk transfer to the champion team" lol Lcq seems hard to win. I don't feel good for this team anymore, I hope cNed, starxo and monsteerr find a new team next term. Teams cannot be managed with this mentality and vision.

I think bonecold left by himself cuz his vision of how the team should grow didn't match his. Bonecold was unfortunate, but they fucked it up by benching zeek and kiles.

I doubt it's bs. Bonecold left prob bc he wanted his team to play a completely different playstyle (like Benkai asking paper Rex to play like guild), and zeek prob don't want to play support but wants to be their star player(obv not possible if cned exists). Link left for the same reason: he wants to play anchor and not flex, but he can't do that if nivera is equally a good anchor(and in parts, better anchor).

Zeek himself said he prefers being a support player now instead of raze/reyna/kayo he used to play. Also not believing in the igl, who helped you win champions, after he showed he clearly has some interesting ideas, like omen split comp in astra meta or the unbeatable bind comp they created with brim, im pretty sure they won like 30 games straight on that map.

then you won't give up zeek "your team mvp as you become champion" you will somehow find a midpoint and repair it whatever the situation is. Also, there are many young talents like Deepmans, go to one of them and take a risk, worst case scenario, you will have invested for the next period, if it works, it will be a long-term trial.

I see what you did there :)) I don't know what to think about the signing honestly L1NK is good (turns up when needed and he is a A tier anchor) but he has some really big boots to fill because zeek was really good

I think people just hear l1nk and think of it as a good signing by itself but forget that he’s replacing zeek of all people
