On a real though why does riot risk their future of the game by not telling orgs and players their plans for the t2 scene? kinda implies that they dont have a plan for t2 which is scary for upcoming players. Kinda funny that teams that wont get franchising (EG, SR, TGRD, etc... are better than some franchising teams (T1 (mb) SEN, TSM, etc...)

How do you get from “they have not told orgs their plan for t2” to “they dont have a plan for t2”?? They’ve said that there will be a tier2 scene when they announced partnership earlier this year and emea’s vrl is a pretty good indication of where they’re going

If not even the best NA team can do anything in CS right now, imagine the players from T2 Valorant scene lol

And it's not just about NA players, NA people don't like watching CS either in tournaments or with content creators

NA CS will never come back

NA isn't that invested in esports from the start. Most of the cool kids play ball sports

The biggest downfall for NA CS was Covid.
But yeah franchising will be rough for the tier 2-3 teams In NA or just any smaller org who isn’t in the league in general.
