Riot hates NA?

I'm not saying they do, but there is a lot of fishy evidence.

1) for a second time, the only teams from NA face off in round one of bracket play
2) there are only 2 teams from NA to begin with
3) last year the team that one masters 1 got to take another team to masters 2... this time EMEA gets 3 slots again without showing anything worthy last masters.
4) last year the winners of berlin sent another team from their region... this time the number of teams is locked without regard to performance in order to make room for SA which hadnt shown anything outside of KRU.... And this was decided before masters 1, even.
5) in the end, NA could win both masters and still only take 2 teams to champs... and with it being even harder for them to win both masters bc one is gping straight to the losers bracket no matter what.

I know EMEA has had to play each other in brackets a lot too, but it's not as egregious and you still have 3 teams without regard to performance

Yea riot hates na for sure. They try to cushion emea teams to the finals by ensuring that they don't have to play a single NA team

you have to realize that riot didn't want optic to go against an EU team in quarters so optic can win again.

That's a decent point. Still need to know if optic can beat eu

1) EMEA Teams face off each other
2) better than Korea and BR who have won their tourney just to play group stage.
3) EMEA region consists of 3 regions (EU, CIS, TR) That's why more slots.
4) The winner of Copenhagen gets 1000 Circuit points which pretty much guarantees a spot in champions it's the same berlin just not a straight ticket to champions. so performance does matter.
5) Last Champions NA had 3 spots 2 Circuit Points and one Last chance, is that not good?

This is off the top of my knowledge i tried my best to explain, if anyone has other information feel free to share :)

1) i acknowledged that
2) those regions dont have nearly the playerbase or depth
3) EMEA is one region in valorant. If it were 3 fully fledged regions, they'd have individual qualifiers like every other legitimate region
4) you have misunderstood my point. Im saying the winner of berlin guaranteed another spot in champs for their region. I.e. gambit winning meant fnatic went to champs. If NV won, they would have sent 100T
5) yes that was good. Would have preferred if it stayed that way considering NA made 2 masters finals and won 1. The only other region to make finals in masters last year was emea. Emea deserves 3 spots fs.

Thanks for making actual arguments instead of hating :) respect

1) :)
2) I don't know about playerbase but i'm guessing the players that watch the games play the game, judging off live viewers, after checking past broadcasts of korean games on twitch they get about 200-250k viewers this is for champions, for qualifiers they get 50-60k viewer, for Latam its the same 200-250k for champions but 5-60k for qualifiers.
3) i agree with this if the regions where fully developed as qualifiers they would have individual qualifiers for each region rather than combined but for now its like this.
4) if NV won and 100t went then that's how it was meant to be but gambit one and fnatic went, this time im not too sure why it has changed but the 1000 circuit points imo is better.
5) i pretty sure its still the same case that NA has 3 spots in champions, if thats incorrect then im not too sure why it was done.

Appreciate it, i am really tired so if my points are just pure waffle my bad lmao.

Yeah they are still sending 3 EMEA teams for some reason.

Dont care how big the playerbase is if all they can produce is washed teams and bad players.

If you think this is unfair wait until franchising. EMEA will get 4 slots and NA will share 4 with Latam and Br (assuming a 12 team event)

hopefully a 16 teams based event

doesn't really matter when the NA teams take all the spots from the BR and LATAM frauds

Well, NA #1 seed and EU #1 gonna face the #2 seed from the group stage, which is their region team tho. If Optic and FPX are the #1 seed at group stage, this ting ( maybe) wont happen

I dont think that's actually how it works. It's random draws to my knowledge. The only thing set prior to the draws is that the winner of each group are on opposite sides of the bracket AND everyone from groups plays the #1 seeds ftom each region

they are actually helping. optic cant beat an emea team this way they can win without ever facing one. its 5Head really optic drx finals incoming
