what is this

Added Marshal, Yoru, Reyna tweaks
NRG does not have more firepower than 100T. What are you talking about? Asuna, if he returns to form, is a top 5 player and is better than Android. Ethan had insane aim in cs, much better than anyone else in NA that switched over and can be the best player in Valorant with time. nitr0 is another top 10 player and is the best omen in NA, steel is the best killjoy and HiKo is a top 5 sova player. Compare that to NRG who has 1 top 10 player(Android). eeiu is great and all but can not compare in terms of firepower to nitr0, same goes for s0m compared to Ethan. Steel is clearly better than daps but you can say Shanks brings more firepower than HiKo. If 100T lose this it will be because Ethan is likely still getting used to Valorant and that nitr0 is getting used to his new role but NOT because NRG has more firepower, because they don't.
I would agree with them being on par but Asuna was playing like a top 3 player in the qualifiers for Challengers 2 so if he can return to that form, he will be better than Android. However, the last time these 2 faced off, in the qualifiers for Challengers 2, they went 6-6 against each other so I'm definitely excited to see them face off again.
welp. eeiu + s0m + android + shanks, not enough firepower ig. I support 100T but I still don't agree 100T has more firepower. nitr0 and Asuna are insane but yeah. But in the future 100T (when Ethan is completely used to val), I can agree 100T will have more firepower. For now NRG tho. Just saying don't sleep on NRG man.
I think NRG is a great team and in eSports that 100T is not in, I root for NRG so I am definitely not sleeping on them but I just think that Asuna is better than or at least on the same level as Android and that nitr0, Ethan, HiKo and Steel bring more firepower to 100T than s0m, daps, eeiu and shanks. If you look at 100T, there isn't really a weak point. There could be an argument for steel or HiKo but when you look at NRG, daps is the clear cut weak point and is the weakest player individually in this matchup, which I think gives 100T the edge in terms of firepower
Asuna = Android (Asuna is better but has been inconsistent lately, they are both cracked duelists though)
Hiko = eeiu (both solid Sova players, Hiko better support Sova, eeiu frags more for his team, they both do what is needed from them by their team)
Ethan = s0m (Ethan is better mechanically, top 20 CS player at one point. he's very new to the game but has nitr0 and steel to help guide him, s0m is a great player)
nitr0 > Shanks (nitr0 is just much more experienced and has higher ACS than Shanks while playing only Omen his whole pro career so far)
Steel > Daps (both great IGLs, but Steel is a better fragger)
Don't get me wrong, both teams are absolutely stacked, but I think this goes 2-1 100 Thieves
You can reply to my post using the reply button under the post itself. I agree I didn't put teamplay into account, because I didn't want my post to get too long.
I'm more comparing the people on each role though.
So asuna vs droid is the duelist comparison, steel vs daps is the sentinel/IGL comparison, etc..
Regardless, the current 100 Thieves roster has only been together for like 1 week. But I think their collective experience from CS more than makes up for it.
This is what I've been saying and getting mass downvoted for : ).
For those of you who think Steel is so good, have you actually watched him play?
Stop hyping him up and pay attention to his impact on the rounds.
He does not have the game sense required to be a lurker and his aim is diamond or immortal level.
Asuna can win an Ace 1v3 but can he do this https://clips.twitch.tv/SecretiveProtectiveOstrichDogFace-vS12BvBUGQH-ivK2

NRG at their best really looked like they had tier 1 team play, I thought their Haven attack looked especially cohesive (even tho they lost that map). Also, IGL’ing is just way different in this game compared to CS. 100T’s fast executes always seemed stiff and I think it’s cause the team plays too much around steel’s micromanagement. NRG seems way more flexible.
First map they put Nitr0 on Breach and they play very well. Now I ask you, why did they play well with Breach and bad with Sage?
The answer is quite simple, because breach has flashbangs. 100T actually played 2 maps without flashbangs. Got destroyed in the first sage pick, didn't notice or admit their mistake and played without flashbangs again!!
The reason people pick Jett and Raze as main duelists and Reyna/phoenix/yoru as second duelist is because of flashbangs, if you want just 1 duelist, pick one that has flashbangs or have the brains to at least pick a skye or a breach instead of a Sage. How do you expect to win without throwing a single flashbang the entire round? You don't.
Their problem is much bigger. They're playing an EU meta without an EU playstyle. Since their lack of entry power in jett, they need to replace that with aggressive players on cypher (like pAura on heretics, dimasick, chiwawa) and on omen (like angel, crea)
Seems like NA players can only be aggressive on duelists.
I don't agree. I really think, coming from CS, that without flashbangs your team lose too much entry power, loses the ability to clear angles, and with that your attacking side becomes useless, also you can stop a push, by blinding them, killing one and backing up to retake.
This EU meta is not good at all, they are the ony ones playing like that, it's only working because everyone is doing the same thing, when they face oposition from around the world they will get destroyed imo.
