I dont think it matters since, more than half of the valorant players have come from CS like me, even the comms are CT and T side rather than attack/defense. Not a big deal imo

i am not denying that riot is a copycat company but even so

doesn't matter as long as the intention is conveyed. also i think it's easier for a newer audience to understand what a "major" is compared to a "masters"

csgo major is not even similar to val masters no? in terms of the tier of tournament. DOTA also has major and its more similar to what valorant has coz its the same tier of tournament
