Very true point.
But let's be honest.
Russian players probably aren't attending any LANs this year.

Right, thank you
Good format, and whichever way you cut it, the groups are gonna be nasty
Stoppp stoppp, he's already dead T_T
Deluded unreasonable emea fan. Not one of us, a troll in disguise.
It's somehow looking even more competitive than champs last year. I really don't know who will take it. I'm rooting for EMEA, but would love to see LOUD and APAC put up a strong fight
Ohhh noooo, not more news about solid competition
Champions was emea dominated for sure. But masters 3, can't really say that at all
Hey, howcome they're already playing for stage 2 before masters 1 has happened?
Are playoffs double elimination?
It would be weird if not for this tournament, because the top seeded teams could literally be out in one bo3 since they skip the groupstage lol. What a waste of time and money that would be
Have you been living under Rock? This is nothing to do with organisation...
No. Winning an event doesn't mean domination.
Only champions was domination by emea.
Masters 3 Berlin was very even. 100t beat acend and gambit. Acend got rolled by vision strikers. SMB got grouped. Just because gambit won the event doesn't make it 'domination'. They didnt even have a flawless run like Sen in Iceland.
Domination is an exaggeration
Thanks for confirming. Makes sense at the end of the day
Emea has only dominated 1 out of 3 events. Why is everyone losing their shit.
Be ready for a rough year for CIS players and fans. I anticipate a year at least.
Guys relax, it would only be the 3rd event won by an EMEA team. Valorant is supposed to be around for a long long time.
It's such a sad situation. Dominance in Valorant is hugely influenced by current meta.
Combine this morale boom with the fact that there will be a new meta come masters 2. We might never get to see this high performing version of fpx against international competition.
Fuck war. For many reasons, including this small one.
Very sad for fpx, as a liquid fan. EMEA top seed as well, by quite a strong margin.
Don't be mad at liquid, no team would refuse the invite, and you know they wouldn't want to make it to Iceland under these circumstances.
And to everyone else. eSports is a microcosm in the grand scheme of this Russia Ukraine shit. Don't expect the situation to be much better by masters 2.
Hopefully riot will place less emphasis on LAN and make the event accomodate teams to play online from Europeab bootcamps if there are slot of players unable to attend.
i am bronze. but wait, isn't jump noise on landing?
it's a stupid thread. but the dude is talking specifically about the future, and you're going to the PAST resukts, i laughed, ngl
while i don't doubt this to be the case. What proof do you actually have? I'm just curious. Do we actually know that these guys pracc more than say an LG or V1 or XSET?
Crazy shit man
I saw haha xD
His age has absolutely nothing to do with it. Maybe if he was 50 you could make an argument.
But the narrative that older players can't perform as well Is dumb and unproven.
M3C also lost to the same team.
Lol, nvm, edited
Bo5 for seeding game? I thought we were over this
they look fucking terrible. their plan is to get sprayed through smokes in mid / B, then burst B with no visibility
they really have no strats. All they have is a default and alot of hope
embarrassing by liquid that round
Don't drop him.
Just drop this sageless icebox shit they keep trying.
I see no sage on icebox. I know which team is losing.

Nothing is free in Valorant.
Every meta shift is a brand new game.
Back 2 back dominance is far from guaranteed.
Yeah, loads of other English speaking Sova players with tier 1 LAN EXPERIENCE
XD
I'll pay the tuition fees of whoever guesses right.
"???? ????"
Cryo, pls stop
Jamppii isnt the problem.
It's not rocket science that liquid looked their best when they stayed close to the meta during end of last year run. and a return to all the whacky shit has seen them look awful in 2022
he played Jett and Reyna almost exclusively before and during champions, and he was performing extremely well. That's why.
i think you have a strong recency bias with this. if you look at their pre champions, and during champions run, Jampii was PIVOTAL in their success. He was playing Astra and Sova amazingly well and his Jett on Ascent was looking good.
Aftert champions the role swaps have been dire for liquid.
Be surprised if they even beat guild atm.
ScreaM is not a JET JETT like Cned and derke, but his Jett is actually really good. apart from 1 bad game vs sentinels.
This is not a hot take, just actually look through stats of their stage 3 run, LCQ run and redbull games in match history. His jett was fine.
His Skye just isn't hitting for me, and neither is his KayO. These are 2 roles that soulcas handled pretty well.
On the flipside, Soulcas' solo duelist isn't looking great.
But the biggest issue TL has is how bad they are fundamentally at times, sometimes they look so lost. And at the best of times, they're usually only destroying teams because they are outaiming them. Their stratbook isn't even in the same league as a fnatic at the moment. At least that's how it looks. They just move around the map and dont do alot with utility.
It looks like they're using strange galaxy brain comps which appear strategic on paper, but in officials they look poor.
They look soooo fucking clueless man, constant dry peek op. At this level unforgivable. And he's almost always in the same spot.
Soulcas on omen in haven is just a wtf pick.
Jampii is forcing Jett, he's clearly not confident on it. Screams Jett was decent on haven
Repeatedly dry peeking ardiis with op is a great idea
