I don't know the ins and outs of money is made from esports. But I Valorant esports team need to sell this game better to sponsors so we get proper tier 2 LANs and tournaments.

I feel like no one cares about anything valorant related outside of the Masters and champions matches.

What's happening with Wardell?

Assistant coach Joseph "Strong" Edwards noted that Tundra's release was in part due to poor VRL Polaris viewership and engagement.

The coin wasn't there

fair point. on old icebox he was never very good. we'll see

They play on a special tournament client. It probably couldn't be changed for some reason

G2 had so many retakes that wouldn't have happened if liquid had a sage wall. instead we had omen :/

agreed, i think it's a horrible pick. Jampii is great, but this is not a good agent map combo.

100T at their best, used to be obsessed with running omen on icebox and they almost never won on that map.

i never want to see an Omen on icebox again

Because at this stage of the competition, relying on skill alone shouldn't get you over the finish line.

If winning gun fights is why they win, they won't go far.

your logic is a bit off. Gambit vs Envy is the only 1 sided NA vs EMEA series we've seen with EMEA on top. Before that was SEN in iceland.

X10 vs envy is irrellevant, it was very cl;ose and X10 took a map off Gambit. which Envy didn't. So you could argue that X10 are just better than Envy. That says nothing about the gap between regios.

You could have just agreed with me and not make yourself look like an idiot with that comment xD

The sad truth is that most EMEA fans are deluded.

We were only SLIGHTLY better than NA at Champions. Every EMEA vs NA match was won with the tightest of margins.

Simply not enough to say that EMEA crushes NA.

It's a good thing. But I wonder if teams are still just trying to figure out what's good.

xD

I think Liquid lucked out and just skill diffed G2 there. Didn't see the value of 2 smokers imo

Make a Twitter storm. Go the BR route, cus honestly guys, the decision is bullshit and unfair

posted about 2 years ago

None of your teams are good either. You have nothing to be proud about

posted about 2 years ago

Stay mad, he still making more money than you ever will, and doing what he wants, even if SEN still get hammered. You care more than he does, and that makes you an imbecile xD

Come downvote this hurtful truth.

lol, what happened?

I'm glad he's making jokes and I hope it pisses of you L fans are who take this too seriously.

don't argue with that Shownu guy, trust me. He is a fucking imbecile and can't think with a shred of nuance or comprehension.

potentially ANGE1 too. Leaving Ukraine to play LAN is obviously not the highest priority or possiblity for him atm.

Not yet, Gambit need to win. Barring any wild losses by an insane margin.

Knowing they didn't have a sentinel either. Quite poor

yeah, Zescht, one of the desk talent announced it after a long break / tech pause

They just announced match is postponed for the rest of the day.

Liquid fans on suicide watch rn

clip the moment please. I watched it but honestly, they clapped BIG so fast i kinda blinked and missed alot haha.

He does so much for his team, it's great to see.

You must not do very well in school or university, your comprehension is embarassingly bad. Where did I say NA can beat the top EMEA teams haha. I said there isn't a massive gap. You are an imbecile for struggling to understand this. An actual idiot.

NA lost to EMEA teams by small margins in one tournament and you think that's enough to justify there being a massive gap. X10 beating Envy by 2 rounds in OT after previously losing to them. This has nothing to do with the gap between EMEA vs NA. It's totally irrelevant. Gambit almost lost to SEA teams too and had to pull off wild comebacks to win.

You're actually a fucking moron, and we can't have this debate. Your brain just doesn't process information well and you can't formulate a reasonable point of view. Go read a book.

100T and EG????????? Why are you comparing teams that are DEEP in T2 to EMEAs finest. That's just weird, you have no analytical ability at all man.

EDIT: Meant for the weirdo above you.

posted about 2 years ago

nothing but conjecture. the fact you say it so confidently proves my point lol.

posted about 2 years ago

To act like there's a massive skill gap between EMEA and NA tells me your observations are way off.

posted about 2 years ago

you can't be serious. Leaf DIFFED the fuck out of Liquid during their match in champions.

And I am a liquid fan, but don't be delusional pls

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah I see that too, i really feel like Teams should be able to have multiple good game plans with the time they have to prep.

posted about 2 years ago

I see your opinion, but I wouldn't say it's false hope. it's not so weird for ex winners to talk optimistically even if they don't have the results to show. it's a small part of what's needed for a winning mentality.

Are Germany a fluke for winning the world cup in 2014 but then getting grouped in 2018?

Valorant changes dramatically every major patch. You can't expect the same team to dominate through different meta's. Even when a team is on top, it's by fine margins. A change in the way the game is played resets everything.
Get over it.

Format is good. Length is good too. But teams ideally should use the time between matches to test more stuff out (maybe not as crazy as liquid tho) because I see slot of hard counters in matches lately because the other team knew exactly what the enemy was doing.
