You can't compare. New map rotations, different agents in meta, different agents being nerfed or buffed. You cannot compare the best teams from different years reliably. It not possible. They are all measured in their own bubble, at a different standard to all the other best teams of previous years. That's the truth but people LOVE to power scale. It happens all the time even outside of pro valorant. It's not as simple as "this team is better because they beat so and so 3 years ago and so and so beat this team and..." because valorant is a dynamic and constantly changing game, even if the changes are not very major.

Actually, it happened when I was 4 years old so not much memory of that. Interestingly, my most vivid memory is of the time I woke up from said coma in the hospital. Why do you need more flashes? Are you trying to perma blind your enemies? At least cypher doesn't have to set up a clunky easy to break flash on attack, and can gain space on other parts of the map (which is especially necessary when you have no duelist) without providing no value at all to the team on attack. And if you wanted some sort of passive info, why choose the sentinel with one of the worst passive info gathering when you can choose the best? Tldr: more flashes? No, and if you lost then the team comp is the first thing to blame. Vyse was simply a troll pick.

Cypher is better. What more is there to say? You say you wanted a more passive info gatherer when vyse only has one passive info gathering tool, which is her wall. Her flash maybe counts but cypher has a cam, two trips and an ult devoted to info gathering. Vyse is only really good to slow enemies down, which breach and omen do just fine. Vyse can hardly hold off the flank angles on a single map on attacking side, and the only benefit of taking her is for her flash, which you absolutely don't need WITH BREACH, KAYO, OMEN AND GEKKO on the team. That's absurd.

And? My point is why vyse over cypher? Cypher is the king of passive information. Vyse is a troll pick.

Maybe because his flash reveals enemy positions and wingman can also do that, but skye has a dog and that doesn't really make her a scan over a flash. Maybe because out of 4 total util pieces per round, 2 are flashes for skye while gekko technically has one of three, but 2 of the three can reveal and clear enemies along with his ultimate clearing out enemy positions. Idk though. Kayo is a hybrid too with his knife and flashes together. I think initiator roles should be scan only, and hybrid because apart from breach and the scan only agents, all the other initiators in the game can do a bit of both.

It would hurt the rest of apac more than it would benefit Korea. The rest of apac will no longer have strong competition to play against to improve. That's terrible for them. Look at south Asia. They lagged behind the rest of apac in tournaments because of the lack of competition there. Competition drives improvement. We have already seen it from talon and rrq and we need to give more time to see how the Korean competition will drive improvements amongst the rest of the pacific league.

Average solo q experience. The thing is, your frags mean nothing when your teammates and yourself are not on the same page. When I have bad teammates, I reverse bait them. If my reyna runs to the opposite side of the map, I fake whatever site I'm hitting and when she clears the other side, I sprint over and plant. But speaking to the teammates who actually care about winning is the key to ranking up in solo q. If you tell then your plan, or if you want to rotate or something, it makes a huge difference because at least some people on the team would want to win at least. It doesn't always work but it's all you can do in solo q.
