I just feel like talon looked slightly better at the beginning of playoffs until they lost to TS but the main reason is because I didn't get to see more of RRQ. I have no way to compare them to the other teams in the league yet.

Well you're wrong because even individually, drx is overall better than geng
Buzz>t3xture
Mako>Karon
Flashback>meteor (by a tiny bit)
Foxy9=lakia
Stax<munchkin
Not to mention DRX has very strong fundamentals and a deeper strat book than GenG.

1.PRX
2.DRX
3.T1
4.Gen.G
5.Team Secret
6.Zeta
7.Talon
8.RRQ
9.GE

  1. Bleed
    11.DFM
This would be my rankings. 1-3 is all interchangeable and I would be happy with it in any order, but the rest is definitely what I would say is correct in my opinion.

Honestly I agree with you, DRX was a very strong team but they weren't a super team because of their players. It was because of their synergy and thorough understanding of fundamentals that got them their title of korean superteam. There were definitely players better than most of the DRX players (apart from my goat mako) but the team was not made to be a super team. At the same time, T1s approach is to expand to talent outside of Korea isnt bad, because literally every Korean team has worked to build a super team, it just never worked out and autumn isn't wrong to make a mixed roster. Xccurate and izu and rossy have done really well, and T1 looks like a very powerful team. I think that your bias for Korean players is blinding you from the fact that T1 is still really good and autumn is still a really good coach even if he didn't make a full Korean roster.

I'm so happy for drx now all they have to do is beat GenG. I feel really bad for T1 and PRX fans but not as much as I am happy that DRX has once again been given a free ride to another international tournament.

posted 2 months ago

You never stop riding the DRX hate train huh? Why do you hate them so much? This is the time where they finally win a tournament with their new roster. Stop hating please.

Ikr THANK YOU VCT PACIFIC ORGANISERS FOR SAVING MY FAV TEAM but it will hurt so much more if DRX loses (not that it could happen because flashback is the best player to touch the game).

posted 2 months ago

Fr but can't you guys let DRX go on their fluke run for a bit longer please? If DRX doesn't qualify I'm going to slump into a deep depression until the regular season, and what difference does it make to T1 fans who have already seen T1 at another tournament?

BTW this is a joke and I apologise to any and all T1 and PRX fans about the rough bracket but I will have a mental health crash if DRX loses. I'm just not used to them not making international tournaments.

posted 2 months ago

Uh so they did it wrong? I'm not complaining at all as a drx fan, and this game with T1 vs PRX will begin the susantoo brother rivalry. No better place to start it than in a single elimination qualification match for a masters tournament.
Because they could have also had DRX vs PRX and T1 vs GenG

OMG YES DRX IS SAVED YESSSSSSSSSSSS

Oh no its over :(

posted 2 months ago

yes i do. im open to change my mind if you give me the data that contradicts what im saying. but instead youre going to back off? after all, its only my opinion and i feel like the data that i can see supports my point. if you show me that it doesnt then im ok with changing my mind. i asked you what i cherrypicked and your response is "i cant anymore".

posted 2 months ago

tell me what i cherrypicked? is it not true that T1 was not top 4 even at the beginning of the year? and yes, by the end they were top 3 but geng was 6th or 7th? now T1 looks on the same level as PRX with their changes, and it looks like GenG will make playoffs. thats why i think korea is a lot stronger in the pacific league this year than last year.

posted 2 months ago

no stop i dont like this please dont jinx please

posted 2 months ago

both GenG and T1 were middling in the league until the end of the regular season, especially after GenG just flopped after their first 5 games. now T1 looks to be second in the league and geng is top 5 minimum, while last season T1 was comfortably 3rd/4th while GenG was 6th or 7th. Korea looks a lot stronger this season.

bro roasted, cooked and ate him holy shit

whoa guys please stop jinxing drx i dont like how people think they are going to win... they never do good if they are hyped up.

posted 2 months ago

everyones so caught up on bad formatting and stuff but no ones acknowledging that korea is finally taking over the pacific league. there is now almost over 75% chance that at least one korean team is guaranteed to go to madrid, which is insane.

posted 2 months ago

elmapuddy was originally from NA so it doesnt count

posted 2 months ago

i mean it is just a number, but not all numbers are good.

posted 2 months ago

still nepo team is nepo team and i really dont like any of them apart from invy.

posted 2 months ago

yeah maybe thats what i would expect. this way, korean team is guaranteed madrid but i want DRX to win because personal bias.

posted 2 months ago

oh my god wow. honestly just for thinking that DRX wouldnt top their easy group im going to say you deserve this.

posted 2 months ago

jremy, jessievash and dubstep were all related to upper management of TS and jessievash and borkum are old(jessievash) and washed(borkum) now but havent lost a spot on the team yet despite severely underperforming in the past. also i dont think NDG was the right pickup for the team and im guessing based on past players, that NDG made it on the team because he is friends with jessievash.

BRO THEY DIDNT PLAN IT LIKE THAT ITS JUST HOW THE MATCHES WERE ORGANISED

posted 2 months ago

TS losing to GenG has made my day 🥰

posted 2 months ago

its not about that. its about whether DRX will play PRX or T1 because zeta and T1 are from the same group and currently, the winner from playins plays T1 and DRX plays PRX.

posted 2 months ago

i hope its zeta so that PRX doesnt play DRX because T1 and ZETA are in the same group.

posted 2 months ago

zeta but i get great joy from watching TS losing :D

posted 2 months ago

lol no. they arent playing any better than GenG here...

i would say that making nice indian food isnt hard as long as you have the ingredients. maybe you could try some recipes at home, that way you can adjust the spice levels and the strong flavours.

posted 2 months ago

wow the switchup when geng starts winning is wild

posted 2 months ago

um hes 0-11

posted 2 months ago

i am a top tier TS hater. as long as they lose, im happy with ZETA or GenG making it through playins. i hate the nepo team and the annoying fans. sorry to all the good pinoy fans out there but i cant change how i feel about them. i just wanted to put it out there.

posted 2 months ago

lmao GenG is the only team out of the three that DOESNT have to play back to back matches so you dont get what you wanted sadly

posted 2 months ago

??? just because two other teams have played just before you, doesnt mean you have any advantage over them. Especially since GenG actually has the best chance of making it to playoffs because they get a break. now that GenG vs TS is going to map 3, i dont think that TS will be in perfect condition for their game against ZETA. however, ZETA also has to play back to back and with the pressure of knowing that they have to win both to have a guaranteed route to playoffs, while TS plays their games and leaves their fate in the hands of the other two teams' matches.

posted 2 months ago

Wow this is rough for zeta and TS, having to play back to back matches. Did pacific region really need to rush the qualifiers like this? It seems extremely hard on the playins teams.

posted 2 months ago

My pickems in every region are the same. One group horribly wrong, one group flawless, one group down the middle.

posted 2 months ago

Yeah I agree with that. It sounds like we are talking about the same thing, how despite many roster changes, the overall rankings of teams hasn't changed too much. But some teams might be better or worse than others, but not enough to significantly change their rankings in the league overall.

posted 2 months ago

I wouldn't say that this gives the full picture. For example, for all we know, T1 could be the best team in the region with their current roster snd because PRX and DRX seem to have downgraded (when you look objectively). Also. DFM seems to have a slightly better roster this year, but because the base level of every team has gone up, they are still at the bottom of the leaderboard. Also, RRQ hasn't played against teams like zeta division or TS, so they could be better. When you look at the teams like this, it looks like nothing has changed, but there might be a lot going on within each of these 3 groups of teams, which is why pacific seems to have changed a lot. Also the groups were organised so that it would mimic last year's results and positions so I'm not surprised that the groups turned out like this at all.

i hope they play trexx because he is a lot better than destrian (no offence to destrian, its just that trexx is very flexible and is an extremely good player)

posted 2 months ago

imagine vitality win playin and KC wins tomorrow, there will be a very high chance that there will be a french org at madrid... first france takes over rocket league, and now they are about to take over EMEA valorant. thats terrifying.

i wish there was a google forms setting where you can drag the options into the correct order, it would make it so much easier for something like this.

just different way the seeding works in different regions. also would it have made a difference? they got knocked out by GE...
