I don't think this was the breeze comp they prepared. I think trexx was meant to play viper and cender on the astra but because bot destrian can't play viper, cender has to fill. Although that's no excuse because cender literally mains viper on other maps.

I only prefer watching if there are enough games to watch. I watched a lot more last season than now. I now play more because there are less games and the long off-season has made me lose almost all interest in the EMEA league which is the only time friendly league for me.

Honestly I don't know why I expected DRX to do better because even if they made it to Madrid, the team is far too inexperienced and hasn't been together for long enough to be anything like the old drx of 2022 and early franchising. We will have to wait till the regular season to see if drx improves before we know if they have completely fallen off. But yeah T1 looks stronger than drx imo.

as you can see, i dont have the DRX flair on anymore. I am through the worst of it and i skipped every stage of grief and accepted that DRX is doomed. i am now an all in vitality and LOUD fan so hopefully that will go better for me. thanks for asking :)

saadhak makes literally any player he has work. he is insanely talented. i was an avid LOUD hater but i cant deny how good saadhak is at what he does.

.... i supported them every time they threw at 5th and 6th, i tried my best to cheer for them all this time. it hurts more when the team makes it to internationals then loses than if they never made it at all. i set expectations for them and they always fell short. and i still love some of the players, i just cant cheer for the team that has let me down every time. i cant cheer for them anymore.

i think foxy9 and stax and termi are next on the chopping block. building around mako and flashback is a good idea but all the good korean players are taken now either by china (:skull rb) or to geng and T1. i guess DRX can try for the rest of the season but i expect stax to be gone by the end of the year if they dont qual for the next tournament.

fr they look broken now. struggling against bottom feeders DFM and talon and now getting obliterated by a geng team the old DRX would never lose to.

mako is kind of losing his touch i wont lie. i still stan for mako but there is a case to be made that karon is the next best controller in pacific with mindfreak and mako.

FR i am over with DRX. i tried so hard to support them but they never gave me any hope of improving apart from champions 2022. i will now cheer for whoever wins in pacific.

they missed masters reykjavik 2021 because they threw against nuturn. i feel like the script repeats every three years. first year DRX is overhyped, but go out top 8 in second masters and out in groups at champions. then they will have another good year in 2025 where they get top 6 top6 top3, then they go downhill and replace two players again. this team is so annoying and im done supporting them for real this time. mako will have a special place in my heart forever but i hate DRX now.

RIP DRX/VS flair 2021-2024 you will not be missed. im now all in on vitality and LOUD, maybe if i cheer for some teams that are actually good i wont get heartbroken.

no he was not. also why does it matter what people think before when the players prove themselves at tournaments? ok, lets assume that leo wasnt the most highly rated initiator going into 2023. his lockin performance was enough to say that yeah, he is the best initiator in the world. why does it matter that shao was more highly rated when leo was better and is better? fnatic is still a superteam, and leo is now definitely still the best. the whole point of the thread is arguing that fnatic wasnt a superteam. they definitely were and leo was a huge part of that.

but they ARE a superteam. no one in the EMEA league is objectively better than any of the FNC players. good players with strong mechanics gets wins. why are they the only team to win back to back trophies? was fns a worse igl than boaster? was engh a worse coach than mini? no. fnatic just had the team diff every time. even against loud at lockin, it was individual plays that got fnatic the win on icebox. dont say that people are downplaying achievements when its true that fnatic won because they were a superteam.

or americas could pull a pacific and put them together anyways for the viewership matchup
