Actually this tournament was created in 2022, after the GC.
Juliano had returned CSGO since last December participating Impact Katowice European Qualifier, not even reached quarterfinal.

Lock In is a one-off tournament. In later years there would be two seasons from winter to summer.

Riot had promised that China would be the fourth region of VCT. Maybe we can see the official Chinese league (or Continental Asia Region) in second half of the year.
The Chinese FGC Cup Qualifier has gone to third week.
LockIn participates:EDG,FPX
Week 1 qualifies:NTER,ASE
Week 2 qualifies:K1,TTG
Week 3 top 4:InV,BLG,4AM,RA
There would be two weeks remaining.
Some of the teams like K1 had revived since the release of VALORANT in China.
I believe that EDG,ASE,K1 and BLG are currently powers in Chinese region. I don't mention FPX as the club has a tradition of infighting. If TYLOO completes the substitution in time, it may be competitive.

Yah, at CSGO, transgender Olga has been an extremely controversial figure. She could make very high rating, but could never beat full 'real' female squad Nigma Galaxy.

I know that the gamechanger has became the most successful female esports competition but it also met problems.(literally female as Riot stipulates that players participating in the GameChanger must be biological women)
First juliano the former goat of female cs had returned to csgo with her partner zAAz. Mimi stays.
Second literally all the esports competition are open, that enables GameChanger team to meet men's side which was happening in Chinese FGC cup. I had watched the match between O3O and Bilibili only found O3O been raped since the second half of map 1. In cultures of East Asia and East Europe if man lost to woman that would be an inextricable shame.
Third women mature early, so their careers may be short, and in some countries there are legal problems that prevent them to compete in their best age.
Fourth in some sports like football fans of women event don't watch men's matches like some feminists in South America, and the relation and needs between regular esport audience and those persons shall be further balanced.

Another RNG the Renagades had been responsible for killing a player by offering her poor quality of sex reassignment surgery.

RNG is often involved in legal disputes, its staff are not good expect Tabe and KenZhu but both of them had left.
Vici Gaming (now Rare Atom) was another bad organization, had hired many famous Korean players and staff but eventually relegated. Network in its headquarter was bad, so it was seemed as a matchfixer.

Ya, many people don't like Valorant's 'american cartoon style', including myself.

The rise of Valorant actually brought heat to CSGO as well, as people who are starting to follow Valorant now might have only cared about League of Legends before. I thought that the games of car, gun and ball, so called "old three" that emerged after 2000, have a high degree of user stickiness, and I haven't seen League of Legends much since Rio Major last year.

Historic moment for Chinese GameChanger/Female Valorant!
