as EDG can't make Bind which Zeta played well in the tournament open

posted 6 months ago

bet rate seemed that there might be an upset

posted 6 months ago

How EDGS would win depends on suzu's state
wait for tomorrow's bet rate

posted 6 months ago

yeah, lizhi was previously a famous Apex streamer. There were many teams in China in 2021 but most of them disbanded due to frozen of import game approves and Totoro matchfixing incident, only EDG persisted on VALORANT.

American‘s view on sexes......East Asia is more conservative towards LGBT, not to mention that film and television dramas are very open, that is to win Western awards

posted 6 months ago

And CCG played from 5 pm till 11 pm CST, CCG may not have time for dinner at all.

problem is that:in men's/open VCT competitions had we never see a team needs to play 2 BO3s in a day, but GC teams, which take nowhere near as much physical strength as the men's, to play 2 BO3s continuously. This is completely unfair, don't say that GC is in low attention. East Asia GC is an international tournament which can make great attention. IF the UF was Zeta versus CCG and CCG lost, it would led to great internet violence against Riot.

No. NA has also made same problem making QF and USF played in same day (but 2 QF are played at the same time for a USF). In Chinese LAN qualifying EDGS and CCG are both allocated for 2 BO3 in a row but their opponents were too weak that could not gain 10 points in a BO3.
But in today's case, CCG played a full BO3 with only 20 minutes to break, while in CS, the break shall be at one to two hours.

People in Chinese forum said that making UF following SF was a scolding decision, making two teams playing 2 BO3 in a row, only making schedule shorten by 1 day, from 6 to 5.
While making Loser Bracket playing in one day gave significant advantages towards WF losers. In China's FGC when LF's winner immediately face WF's loser for second qualifying berthes, only 3 wins, 5 lost, the winners including ASE and Gank with d3ffo.
Ideal schedule:
Day1-2: QF
Day3:SF
Day4:WF,LR1
Day5:LF(BO5)
Day6:GF(BO5)

EG's female CS squad, EG Gold, also has a Chinese player. Maybe I shall not use questionmark.

EG Female Squad needs a Chinese?

In Asia-Pacific,most players could speak English, even in China, as VALORANT was approved 2 years later than International, players then all trained in HongKong or Singapore servers.

posted 6 months ago

Yeah, but in Chinese forums, ZETA and FENNEL were seemed invicible.
While the bet rate was in favor of EDG...

posted 6 months ago

Nobody would predict that two Chinese teams would meet in UF.
Awesome!

Riot used resident to define players' affiliate region
First, HK,Macau and Taiwan residents are legally Chinese citizens, shall be seemed as native by Chinese law, but played in Pacific Region
Second, relieve NA, seeing LCS teams with most of them Koreans and Europeans
But GE had bought Russ, an overseas Indian, which is seemed as native player

TJD was the worst team of CN VALORANT

posted 6 months ago

yeah, seeing GC team playing against tier 2 team was very rare.
I had written an article about Game Changers, behind the regular cliches like little athlete pool, age problem, and low viewership, there are still two big problems: first, cheating. In both GameChangers and Female CSGO you could find many professional players had cheated (GamerLegion released two female players due to cheating). Second, infighting and salaries. In China GC Qualifier, two of members of TYLOO GC refused to compete for higher salaries, forced the club to use players that only played VALORANT for 18 days!!! And they had even beat Nova GC for semifinals.

hffo can't play due to health issues

China is also a sexist region, we don't have any series for GC through the year and only hold qualifications in September. Some teams had to withdraw due to having virtual streamers in squad. In China, female esports are synonymous with vases, indiscipline and infighting.

so China's first appearance in VCT was made by themselves, not by Riot's gift

China CSGO had never became a mainstream esport event as it only released in mainland China in mid2017. China CSGO is often called China mafia due to many matchfixing incidents.

Mongolians were greatly influened by Russians thus they mostly play Valve games. Their PUBG Mobile is also well. What limits the development of Mongolia are low population and subdivision, in PUBG, Mongolians could only participate in European competitions. Actually the Mongolians only began dominating Asian CS since 2022 as South Korea, China and Southeast Asia began to withdraw from CSGO.

Dislike FPX(bad tactics, so many Taiwanese, which could cause infight, like their S11) and wanna Tyloo to qualify to LA

Former Soviet Union states excluding Baltic countries(Moldova is also mostly excluded), it was a special zone as it's trans-continent(including Caucasus and Central Asia) and Russia dominating.
Valve formerly seemed CIS as a major region but after Russo-Ukraine War the region was renamed Eastern Europe while Riot suspended its competitions in CIS.
