First it was the very first success of Japan in non-console competitive games
Second it was the first time VALORANT competition became public topic
Third it did bring the Masters to Japan

Last time in Istanbul we were beaten by COVID.
This time, we wanna take revenge.
上次我们是输给新冠,我们不服,这次我们走着瞧!!!

posted 10 months ago

ya, ZETA saved 6 match points and then beat NIP, they even took revenge of DRX whom slaughered them in group stage and won bronze medal, most remembering VALORANT esport moment, without this, there would never been a Japan Masters.
Hope EDG to qualify to Knock-out stage, i believe their glory would not decline soon.

We wanna to switch the neglected status of FPS In China through VALORANT.
Only after our win do we know why shooting is fascinating and it's the future.

EDG2-0T1
We wanna prove that we deserve to be in the fourth region.

China would be the fourth VCT region next year after official release of Valorant in mainland China
maybe July or before release of CS2?

posted 10 months ago

Very Important, especially for those in East Asia where their esports system were bulit based on WCG, former "esports olympiad"

posted 10 months ago

because I used real random draw
maybe NRG and DRX would be put in Pot1

posted 10 months ago

sounds like which riot would do
but the format would follow the ones used in 2022

If ChatGPT thinks basically on LoL, why does it neglect EDG?
It might not know FUT or ASE since its data is as of 2021......

Hope that China's VALORANT can change the stereotype on China's FPS, but there has been no clear timeline on launch of VALORANT in mainland China.

The first Chinese Big Figure that found a GameChanger team, but East Asia Game Changer Series are still yet to be organized.
Earlier Chinese female Esports except hearthstone often fell into entertainment or infighting (one month ago there was an infight among Asia's best female CSGO side HSG caused two players left the squad), hope these farces never be repeated in VALORANT.

DRG dark horse, TYLOO had always been the object of ridicule in China's Valora
nt community, and there are too many highlights for dinner

It was ZETA DIVISION's third place in Reykjavik that shocked the world that had made us recognized about JP Valorant, and its future。
But sadly their glory cannot last。

We should think that Riot is using this to reuse its experience in League of Legends everywhere. LoL has been declining.
EU shall be 3 berths and the GC champions shall expanded to at least 12 teams.

as the game would be held after the Champions, maybe countries like Japan, South Korea, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Phillipines, India and so many other countries could bring full squads

You're very ill-informed, there were much meme of csgo on the broadcast when they faced Rare Atom in LPL, like when Rare Atom faced Tyloo in FGC.

Riod had the idea of LoL world cup for many years but had yet to come true. The level of a nation's Valorant player is not necessary, as long as five players can be put together, the representive could be formed, regardless of how their state esports association supporting them. They can also hire foreign coaches.
