Valorant is becoming hot in China. We had not see our glory long in shooting games.

why not the format of Act 1?

posted 10 months ago

Yeh, if JDG not buying the berth now, there would be at most 2 teams they can acquire to enter the new league. VAROLANT's official release is going to come, and the league may launch in September-October.

Some Chinese reply said that NTER's Spring is a good player while unless hiring professional coaches and counseler would ASE had no hope, they rot whenever they encounter adversity.

posted 10 months ago

As New Tyloo had not met many good teams, and their players said that their training was not very well(not reaching the level of K1 2022), I can't give them much high ranking.

News: Totoro being acquired by Trace Esports

Actually Russia was expelled by Riot after the Russo-Ukraine War begun. CIS sub-region and LoL's Continental League were both discontinued midway. Some of Russian and Belarusian player even went to China, like ex-Gambit player D3ffo. Once I predicted VCT Continental as Chinese region, while Continental is a word that mostly used by Russia-dominated organizations.

perfect match for mainstream teams

posted 10 months ago

but if tencent wants, it could also make some rotate home stadium. As a Chinese esports reporter said, there would not be a true professional league without home and away.

posted 10 months ago

Shenzhen maybe as it's close to HongKong for cross-region training

posted 10 months ago

China has the largest market and potentials, and it can also radiate to Russia,Belarus, Mongolia, Central Asia and Oceania.

posted 10 months ago

BLG,TYLOO and FPX need attention.
As Masters holding in Tokyo, many Chinese teams had oppotunities to have training games against powers outside APAC. I had saw a leaked picture on Fnatic's training match against TTG.

Sorry, I meant that Chinese Taipei is used to refer Taiwan, and there's a duplication.

posted 10 months ago

emmm I don't expect to change your perception, but recognizing that Taiwan belongs to the People's Republic of China is part of international rules. If your word made the post locked you shall take the responsibility.

posted 10 months ago

who made minus?

posted 10 months ago

first, delete TW, Riot only officially use Taipei to refer area controlled by Taiwan Regime.
second, I don't know how VCT's import rule is.
third, if a chinese team used three or more imports like Shanghai Dragon in OWL, it might be blamed publicly.

HLTV is not blocked either but some of the Chinese browsers would block it for prohibition of gambit

the former system was very similar to football system, I love this

posted 10 months ago

That's why I dislike current franchaise system. It improved the quality of matches, but making less chance for smaller countries to have chances for big stage.

NIP's LPL line-up: 4 Chinese and 1 Chinese-Italian

posted 10 months ago

Actually, most of the organizations naming with Continental are Russian dominant.

posted 10 months ago

Owner of NIP is Macanese, and NIP had joined LPL.It had also disbanded its Brazilian squad.
Nigma Galaxy had attempted to buy a berth in Dota2 China Region but was refused.
Team Spirit had moved to Serbia. It had joined LoL CIS league, but the league ceased function due to Russo-Ukraine War.At the same time, it is an organization with strong rivalry with Chinese esports.

The conditions for setting up the China Region come from official streamer Alan

posted 10 months ago

Riod had said that whether China would be the fourth region shall based on the reputation and population of Chinese VALORANT community, but after EDG's success, there would be no problems to have a Chinese region. But due to current situation and vision on broading the world of Riot games, the league may be called VCT Continental
Most of the teams of CN Qualifier would join the region, but some of them shall be replaced:
TTG(Match-fixing scandal in 2021),RNG(financial problem),NTER and Monarch Effect
They would be replaced by:
Nigma Galaxy, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Ultra Prime and Team Spirit
Venue would be located in Shenzhen, while the final venue would not be fixed
League would begin in November 2023
There would be ascension of China, Mongolia, Kazakstan and rest of Central Asia, while ascension of HKTW would be moved to Continental region

posted 10 months ago

sorry I had made a mistake and T1 is mostly formed by former OWL player

posted 10 months ago

in 2021 China's berths to Champions APAC LCQ were removed due to match-fixing scandal (most of the suspects are now in TTG)
in 2022 EDG won 9 straight maps without losses in East Asia LCQ against teams like NTH and ONS(most of them then formed T1)

KRU's underdog run was unknown to newcomers outside SA, but even ZETA didn'd qualify to the Masters Tokyo, everyone is talking about it, this is the first time VALORANT became a public topic, brought the Masters to Japan, and ZETA's journey was tougher than EDG's, had saved 4 match points against NIP and turned around to the playoff

posted 10 months ago

Zeta didn't qualify to Tokyo Masters, but everyone is talking about it. Till now, I still believe it is the most remembered VALORANT esport moment.

posted 10 months ago

sorry you had gave a wrong example, at the time Life was still a member of EDG.
ASE qualified to Tokyo as FGC Act 1 Champions, but at Act 2, ASE won UBSF but was swept by EDG in LBF. BLG, which added 2 ex-K1 member was the Winner's bracket winner, but was swept by EDG in GF.

There are some new teams like BLG, TYLOO and WBG.
Funplus Phoenix is not a team with hope. It has the gene of infighting.

After 100T missed the Americas playoffs, EDG's strength was questioned because none of their opponents in Istanbul and Sao Paolo did have good results, while EDG lost to all of them.

posted 10 months ago

At Lock-In we thought we had only lost to the best team in the world, and the 100T played well at third-party tournament , only to find out that it was a team that did not live up to the name later.
