DH is gonna have one bad game and Buzz and Fraudtumn will jump on him like wolves

posted 3 weeks ago

Only after assembling the best Korean superteam they could give him could this guy get any results. iZu was very good in VCJ before T1 picked him up, and everyone else besides sylvan is a proven world class player.

Biggest fraud of all time. His coaching background is in PUBG, not even a tacFPS or hero shooter. Literally have no clue why T1 keeps this fraud.

posted 3 weeks ago

There is a right and wrong way to give feedback, and what buzz did was blame sylvan for everything, even it it wasn't his fault or he made a reasonable play. Even if he was giving justified feedback every time, it sounded more like he was just blaming sylvan than wanting him to fix his mistakes and get better.

In the documentary there was a game on split where buzz started flaming sylvan mid game over a perfectly normal play. iZu was supposed to cover B main with OP but whiffed and died to the heaven player. Sylvan assumed that there still could be a player in B main and left his off angle on rafters to play a less exposed position on site. The enemy team ended up just full executing B through heaven and killed sylvan. iZu didn't take responsibility for his whiff while buzz started going off on sylvan for a perfectly reasonable play.

I don't understand how you can defend this behavior. It is not good for team chemistry at all, and Autumn is just enabling it by doing the same thing as buzz and not setting a good example for how feedback should be given.

You can just spam watch games and find your favorite teams off that.
There is a youtube channel that does edited match highlights called Daily Valorant that is pretty good for keeping up to date without wasting too much time watching every game. You can also find documentaries on youtube from creators like Commend to get up to date on team storylines.

Quick guide to notable teams and regional leagues:

  • AMER: big drama region, but honestly no clear regional gameplay identity
SEN which are the most popular org thanks to former player TenZ.
G2 are known for their highly coordinated teamplay but have a lot of haters.
MIBR is the last hope of Brazil.
100t is a bit of a meme team, and most of the brazilian/SA teams fell off besides MIBR.
NRG are known for falling short of expectations each year.

  • EMEA: characterized by overall slower and smarter gameplay with some exceptions
FNC is the most successful team this region produced and are pretty universally liked, known for a super slow defaulty playstyle.
TH had a crazy good 2024 but choked every grand final and are currently trying to hunt for a trophy.
TL made some good roster moves this year and look decently strong, also pretty fun to watch imo
I'm not too invested in this region overall tbh

  • APAC: my favorite region to watch thanks to it's generally fast paced and exciting gameplay, also the most competitive region IMO.
PRX are the regional fan favorites and the most recent title holders, known for their hyper aggressive W-gaming playstyle.
GENG, T1, and DRX are Korean powerhouse teams, with GENG and T1 both having international success recently.
DRX frequently chokes and places 5-6th to the point where its a meme.

  • CN: team deathmatch every game, weakest region but catching up quickly
Used to be a 1 team region with only EDG being internationally competitive, but other teams are catching up starting this year
Notable rising stars are WOL, FPX, and BLG.

lotus is not a hard map to win
just fight a main and maintain info line on b main and its free RR

platchat losing credibility day by day
sideshow is somehow always wrong, bren is a ragebaiter
only sliggy and tmv have maintained some semblance of credibility and in TMV's case it is shaky at best

posted 3 weeks ago

GENG will keep solo for as long as possible if they want to win.
If T1 troll in stage 2 and bomb out of champs in group stage I think T1 management will start to seriously reconsider his actual coaching abilities.

GENG are NOT letting this guy go

fuck a0t0mn bro, why does t1 stick with this dumbass every year
bro's only professional experience is in a game completely different from valorant

my OW goat!

I was a fan of buzz before but this is just sad behavior from him.
T1 need a performance coach and a coach who can maintain team chemistry. I thought a0t00mn was a vibes coach but I guess he is just a useless pig afterall if the team chemistry was this bad.

recency bias is absurd tbh
he was literally playing with a wrist injury and forced to accommodate primmie being willy nilly about roles on talon
he was a decent player for a while before

posted 3 weeks ago

being mid doesn't cut it in tier 1 if you want to make a competitive roster like DRX does

posted 3 weeks ago

Are we watching the same games? He isn't even top 2 players on the drx academy roster. He is wildly inconsistent as well.

posted 3 weeks ago

Your nats example doesn't work because he is literally better on sentinel and is defined by that role.

Forsaken is good on every single role he plays. He is not defined by the smoke role, he is defined by his ability to always be good across a wide variety of agents. That's why he is a goated flex player.

Right now chronicle is running mostly sentinels, yet nobody is calling him a top sentinel player. Because he isn't defined by his performance on sentinel characters, he is defined by his consistent flex capability in the same way forsaken is.

posted 3 weeks ago

Because keiko's not the main duelist on his team ands only runs secondary duelist when needed, and s0m has a way longer history of being NRG's controller player and only recently has started flexing to senti. Forsaken has more games off smokes than than on the role even in the past 90 days.

In general most of PRX does not fit a set role identity and it would be wrong to classify most of these players as just a single role. Davai is nearly always the sentinel, but every other player plays at least 2 different roles in significant amounts. However, given forsaken's extremely long history as a flex player it is only right to call him a flex rather than a controller main.

posted 3 weeks ago

you don't need to announce your arrival and departure

posted 3 weeks ago

only if he stays bald

posted 3 weeks ago

only bc jinggg is running raze on every map he gets to play it this much
and no other controller player is playing fade or sova this much either
it is a huge stretch to call him a controller player if you only play controller in half your games

posted 3 weeks ago

forsaken isn't a controller player vro, he just flexes to it sometimes

posted 3 weeks ago

he misspelled whether as weather typing out his LFT post

generational trolling tbh

geng mental would be way better if munchkin wasn't a tilter

posted 4 weeks ago

Some of these teams haven’t even played post tejo meta and many of them probably made adjustments. There is literally zero material to prep antistrat wise, and no game experience to test comps. BO1 allows fluke wins from shit teams. Just because you were over prepared for one map does not mean you are the better team.

posted 4 weeks ago

??????? why am i being called out hynix exists

posted 4 weeks ago

Yeah, only to leave mid split on personal leave and fuck the team over again!

Unless its like an urgent emergency don't even bother going pro if you can't commit 100 percent of your time to playing when your team expects you to play.

Plenty of players would be lining up to take his roster spot and he's basically fucking wasting it and wasting his teammate's efforts.
