Reasons why EWC is not mickey :

• VCT Stage 1, the tournament that qualified teams to Toronto (which you guys do not say is Mickey despite some momentum/warm-up disadvantages for 1st seed teams in Toronto playoffs), is the same tournament that qualified teams to EWC/gave advantages for the 3rd/4th place VCT Stage 1 teams in the EWC qualifer. Teams were trying to qualify to EWC and Toronto when playing in VCT Stage 1 (EWC was a higher priority though since it has a higher prize pool).
• The higher prize pool (1.25mil > 1mil. 500k for the winner at EWC > 350k for the winner at Toronto)
• No byes for any teams (no teams are instantly in playoffs). This makes it so that all teams are equally warmed-up when in playoffs and Single-Elim is valid (the real best team wins).
