sayf was better u recency biased fuck

Sayf was basically the EMEA goat from 2021-2024 (played Duelist, Flex, and Sentinel). All of a sudden when he decided to be IGL and started putting lower numbers, he was "never good"

NAVI (looked better than FNATIC, FUT, and VIT in 2024 excluding stage 2 (when d00mbr0s left)) couldve been a top 5-8 overall team in 2024, but Heretics...

Before d00mbr0s left NAVI, he was top 6 and top 10 stats in EMEA 2024:

  2. https://www.vlr.gg/event/stats/1998/champions-tour-2024-emea-stage-1

he also has the greatest clutch of all time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dSXNrzeUcE

Stop putting him #1-#4 in all time player rankings. so overrated.

Yes, he is the initiator GOAT. Yes, he is the best player to have on a team. Yes, he is every coach's dream. However, Chron, Derke, Alfajer, Aspas, and maybe nAts clear him all time success/results. Yes, he is the #1 player you want to have on a team, but for all time player rankings, he needs to play more to go higher up in them.

Also all this Leo glaze from the average Valorant-watching NPC comes from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMMh22ikCI8 (be honest).

my top 20 all time:

  1. Chronicle

nah it was pretty good. Many clutches/insane moments from SEN. NA vs EU was just so hype (since NA was being shit on Counter-Strike). All 3 maps were OT/11-13 too so not the worst.

here is my rough ranking (copy pasted):

  1. FNC vs LOUD (LOCK//IN 2023)
  2. EDG vs TH (Champions 2024)
  3. FPX vs PRX (Copenhagen 2022)
  4. T1 vs G2 (Bangkok 2024)
  5. GMB vs ENVY (Berlin 2021)
  6. SEN vs FNC (Reykjavik 2021)
  7. ACE vs GMB (Champs 2021)
  8. LOUD vs OPTC (Champs 2022)
  9. SEN vs GENG (Madrid 2024)
  10. EG vs PRX (Champs 2023)
  11. PRX vs FNC (Toronto 2025)
  12. GENG vs TH (Shanghai 2024)
  13. OPTC vs LOUD (Reykjavik 2022)
  14. FNC vs EG (Tokyo 2023)

I as a FNATIC fan agree that FNC vs EG was the worst finals in terms of entertainment so far.
However, the few days after FNC vs EG was my best time on vlr.

Ange1 has had 2.5-3.0 great years (early 2020-early 2021, 2022-mid 2024)

this is obvious. Leo hasnt even played for 1.5 years now
Leo is getting so overrated in all time rankings cuz of that one commend video its insane
Yes, he is the best player to have on any team. But all time, there are other players who rank higher due to more time in VCT and more success

Also MVP on the losing team doesn't mean a thing to be honest, if you're not winning you ain't deserve shit

Im not saying it means shit. Im comparing their best performances (and Chronicle has more). It is a fact. Also apparently, according to liquipedia, Chronicle is the MVP of Berlin 2021. Idk if the MVPs pre-franchising are official or not (some of them seem way off what people actually thought at the time) https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VALORANT_Champions_Tour/Statistics (scroll down)

thas like telling americas fans to believe EMEA is great since FNATIC keeps doing very good

EDG is the only team to do anything notable. Wolves just had a flukey run and will only be a team ppl care to notice if they can get a top 4 twice

posted 1 month ago

if u think about it, Wolves kinda beat easy to beat teams though:

  1. Heretics were washed
  2. Bilibili gaming is lucky to be 9th-10th (got a free win on TL without nAts)
  3. RRQ's first ever game in a new meta (also first seed curse)
  4. Only somewhat valid win: GEN.G (who choked both a 9-2 lead and on the other map 8-4)

then, they got shit on by paper rex and fnatic

that's like saying Chronicle (Initiator) from 2021 is not a top 4-5 all time initiator with Leo, Sacy, Crashies, and Shao just because he switched to flex

suygetsu is still top 5 all time and Suygetsu has a tournament MVP as well btw

the debate is now between Alfajer and nAts with Alfajer prob slightly edging it out in aim but nAts edging it out in the sentinel role

all 3 are really good and all 3 are top 10 players of all time

same for Fnatic (only the initiators changed, but the core was the same). You can do (FNC 2022-2025)
