i 1000% they should've stayed and appreciated but the context is important aswell - in Turkey those who turned up for the event were not home team supporters but those who enjoy the game and wanted to witness the event and had no real stake in the game itself. eSports is not developed and followed the same everywhere(EU leads in this) and we can have W crowds once people actually travel internationally to watch their teams play like in football.

Also, region/country bashing in this thread is awful - I've seen EU supporters riot and physically attack after a loss in football or even the racist chants and throwing of bananas at players. I also know in South Asia, stadiums have been lit on fire after a loss in a cricket match.

tenz could move to 6th considering the Sick situation in that case but most likely wont be financially viable for SEN to have both of them in the roster, and yay wouldnt wanna move just cause tenz decides to come back and vice versa

posted about 2 years ago

Chet and FNS duo as coach & IGL.
yay and tenz as firepower - both might lose this title if they dont perform this year

true goat is prob tarik cause he caries the scene as a streamer

you guys didnt win the trophy but yall woulda won the hearts of every val fan if u guys just stuck there to appreciate fnatic, cause it takes real courage to applaud after a loss. maybe next time

TRUE! When EMEA fucking has 10 teams and they claim each one of them then why not us?

posted about 2 years ago

this will snowball. heard it here first

posted about 2 years ago

not true, other NA teams will adapt and do better than what u saw in Lockinn.. i dont see LOUD winning in Los Angeles

posted about 2 years ago

hope im wrong cause i want extra slot for Americas but dont think it will happen

posted about 2 years ago

my prediction FNATIC 3-0 LOUD
LOUD does not qualify for Tokyo. This might be the end of the line for LOUD in 2023

hey man u ever heard of having a face only a mother could love, even my mom thinks im ugly but we vibing..

whats wrong with being ugly? representation matters

posted about 2 years ago

ohhh thats pretty cool

posted about 2 years ago

do u live in brazil or did u actually fly to watch them play live?

posted about 2 years ago

EMEA has 10 teams, NA has 5. Appropriate comparison would be with Americas. Anyway, the format of this tournament is such that region/team comparisons are foolish

posted about 2 years ago

ok whats with your name tho?

posted about 2 years ago

do u guys think it is possible tenz takes a break to be 6th man and gets filled in by yay cause of whole kyedae and Sick situation? maybe financially not viable for SEN

hope kyedae recovers soon <33

posted about 2 years ago

fuck that bro

posted about 2 years ago

so will there be crowd for the VCT Americas league in LA? if yes we gonna make sure the crowd buff helps 4 NA teams to go to Tokyo >:}

until then go get that extra slot LOUD <333333333

there is a reason LFT G2 Oxy has still not removed LFT from his user

unless you have a reading comprehension issue, you would understand that i did not say Sick is not good enough. Just that the whole sentiment around 6th man is not good enough to be in the playing 5 might've affected his feelings which lead up to an outburst following a bad situation. No good player likes to be on the bench.

posted about 2 years ago

recency bias.
xset with sykko, dephh qualified for lan and did well in '22 NA. only 25 players/5 IGLs play franchised, so dephh is chosen above shazam. if dephh doesnt do shit in '23, he will be booted out too.

posted about 2 years ago

i think the general feeling that 6th man is considered useless/not good enough to be on the team has affected this situation, especially orgs like C9 openly joking by calling their 6th man a janitor. Although Sick might not admit to it having an affect, but there must be that lingering feeling about not being considered good enough anymore - he directing this feeling to one bad situation.

honestly after all the FAT Ls we took in Lock-in, I have no interest in watching T2 NA cause none of them will ever make it on an international LAN

posted about 2 years ago

because he was dropped from 100t after loosing 13-0 against Guard and the guy had to do sage cosplay to make ends meet

posted about 2 years ago

i mean they played Navi for their first game and blew a 9-3 lead on the second map.. its the same benefit of doubt that I gave SEN

posted about 2 years ago

yeah its close, i think NAVI vs LOUD will give us a better picture.. if Navi just destroy LOUD then we wont really know

posted about 2 years ago
  1. LOUD
  2. Leviathan
  3. NRG
  4. FURIA
  5. SEN, KRU (unlucky played fnatic, navi)
  6. C9 (without yay this goes down further)
  7. 100T
  8. EG ( won 2 more rounds than MIBR against Talon)
  9. MIBR
posted about 2 years ago

if yay leaves NA, it will be game over for the scene in NA.. only NRG

especially NRG vs LOUD

not everyone lives from paycheck to paycheck lol

i dont believe thats the reason for LOUD performing good vs SEN performing bad. Its just that aspas LESS saadhak core has been playing together for a while which is why there is cohesion. SEN and C9 just need time. Moreover Zekken always played Raze and is better than TenZ at it.. its just that Chamber going out of meta has affected this, forcing SEN to pick the next best sentinel like Sage on Split. TenZ was always going to be preferred for Jett. My main question is that the meta might change again, and will teams cut people again? for example say Chamber becomes viable option again then what? The calls for fixing or cutting players at this stage is absurd.

posted about 2 years ago

tarik x ludwig doesnt even count, sacy pancada were in town for less than a week before that tournament.

there are 3 agents and new maps coming up in 2023 so the meta might change again.. most pros will need to adapt and learn new roles and agents and being flexible to play different styles according to the meta is the only way to go. Chopping and changing teams after every other match will not bring success. Leaf was known as a duelist, now plays KJ too in some maps because its required - THAT is the way to go, and not complain about role clashes since there is no room for 1 tricks like BabyJ

posted about 2 years ago

based on literally 1 match against a very strong side? there is no fix required.. all the other teams which are doing good have a majority core that played together for a while. SEN and C9 need time and patience

posted about 2 years ago

let the americas shit begin in LA, u see monday morning crowd filled to the brim cause we have the highest homeless/jobless in that shithole

posted about 2 years ago

apology rejected

posted about 2 years ago

braindead to cut anyone from a single elim bo3.. if fnatic win the whole thing, SEN could easily be the 2nd best team but we will never know that. Also Sykko has worked with dephh which is the reason why he is there..

posted about 2 years ago

lost to G2 + win challengers first

posted about 2 years ago

cause the meta changed? i mean even yay played sage + they needed 2 initiators on haven so somebody has to play breach.. not like they didnt practice with this comp, it didn't work today + fnatic was good

posted about 2 years ago

source? cause thats not how finances of an org work, there wont be any real "cash" to pull out after winning a tier 2 val tournament.. its most likely players have contracts which are harder to deal with than normal employees which is why they haven't dissolved the players yet

posted about 2 years ago

most of NA orgs have players from different nationalities, ethnicities so its kinda weird to hear this. These 2 won BR a championship, wish people were more grateful lmao

posted about 2 years ago

seen a few BR fans calling Sacy, Pancada traitors?? i know its not the common sentiment but what is reasoning behind this braindead take? do u guys also call Neymar a traitor for choosing to play for EU clubs over a local BR club?

posted about 2 years ago

wut? bro said he picks OP as if its a ranked game. Its obviously team decision
