youre really gonna ask me for examples on how SEN elevated his popularity? lol

also that last paragraph? doesn’t apply to Faker, doesn’t apply to s1mple, doesn’t apply to Daigo, doesn’t apply to n0tail, doesn’t apply to any other face of another game because the face of an esport should be because of their competitive play, content creation should be an extension of their success, not the other way around.

SEN was the best team in NA before picking up TenZ and you’re calling them unknown? stop the dick riding bro, SEN elevated his popularity and it worked in their favor to boost themselves as well. It’s not that hard to understand. You think he made himself popular back when he was playing CS? That’s cool bro, doesn’t change my point and in all honesty makes it feel like TenZ is only as big as he is due to content creation and not his competitive career because god knows his ass was doing nothing competitively in CS lol

posted 5 months ago

the SEN flair proving my point can’t even type in English properly

posted 5 months ago

Yeah he’s an icon, an artificially-made one whose career does not justify his title. Aspas has not been the best player in the world for every year, but give him the icon status TenZ has and I would say it makes sense. At the very least the “KING OF VALORANT” should at least win the C in VCT once in their career.

C9 and TenZ built a brand around himself during his (unsuccessful) CS days that carried on into Val in 2020. TenZ’s name was big but wasn’t nearly as big as it was after he joined SEN and won the first Masters, where SEN then go on to market an already popular name extensively into becoming the face of Valorant with incredible success even when he showed no results two and a half years straight. It’s really not that hard to comprehend this information

posted 5 months ago

ok? him and C9 built a brand around himself off the back of a failure of a career in CS, what’s your point? In a way, the fact that he was the biggest name before joining SEN in the first place when his CS career was a complete flop should help my claim even more.

posted 5 months ago

no, I think most of the playerbase listened to and believed a masterclass of a player campaign led by SEN. Ask the average SEN fan whether or not TenZ has a better career than aspas, most will deny it

posted 5 months ago

“wow tenz won a few of the first ever competitive matches in Valorant and even won the first masters! It makes perfect sense for him to be the face of Valorant for the next 5 years!”

posted 5 months ago

Honestly it’s pretty weird being a viewer from a different esport and having to learn that the “King of Valorant” spent his entire career trying to justify his own title (and failing to do so)

posted 5 months ago

yeah it’s mostly just marketing when it comes to him

posted 5 months ago

One of if not the greatest marketing campaign for a player in esports is one good reason as to why anyone would think TenZ is the “King of Valorant”

posted 5 months ago

Around 5 I think. A lot less than you though so I don’t think you can say anything here AceGamer 13600+ posts

posted 5 months ago

I think #7 and #12 worded it best. TenZ’s accomplishments do not justify his popularity compare to other icons of other esports, and that’s thanks to SEN’s campaign team. Also I honestly can’t tell if you’re serious if you think “aura” and “first player to reach Radiant” are real justifications lol

posted 5 months ago

These are all pretty shit reasons besides 4 and 5?

posted 5 months ago

exactly. Damn when you point it out like that it becomes 100x more obvious.

posted 5 months ago

feels like a byproduct of SEN’s content team alone, pretty much artificially making TenZ an icon

posted 5 months ago

KING BOOOOOOB!!!!!!

posted 5 months ago

I’m just curious here, who actually believes a claim like this? Feels like Sentinels pulled off one of if not the greatest ad campaign for a player in esports history honestly if the majority believe something like this.

posted 5 months ago

yeah telling you someone isn’t the king of valorant when they’ve both failed to win champs in their career, has never been top 10 itw since 2021, and is currently fucking retired is for sure ragebait

posted 5 months ago

weird to declare someone king of valorant when they’ve failed to win champs 4 years in a row before retiring out of shame and burnout at 23

posted 5 months ago

“the king” of what? watchpartying? Tarik exists bro

posted 5 months ago

Yeah TenZ is absurdly overrated, bang has always been the better smoker since the dawn of time.

“Sacy was a really great initiator” 🥺

posted 5 months ago

shout out my label that’s me

posted 5 months ago

I’m literally just giving you the facts, I have no real takes here besides the truth

posted 5 months ago

Nah it is, N4RRATE is a direct upgrade to Sacy and bang is an upgrade to TenZ since he can play more than just Omen at a high level. SEN 2025 is just stronger. You think otherwise because of Madrid but that tourney is embarrassing looking back on it.

posted 5 months ago

not really, the level of play is just better in this tourney over Madrid, kept the same *quality since Champs 2024. Some flukes still managed to qualify cus Kick Off bracket but I think the best rn belong where they’re at right now.

posted 5 months ago

nah respectfully they upgraded

posted 5 months ago

Since SEN upgraded this year, I think G2 would take a comfortable 3-1 win if Bo5 and 2-0 win if Bo3

posted 5 months ago

I recall TH actually qualifying last year

posted 5 months ago

TH flair dick riding VIT to be their region’s special team because they think they have the highest chance in doing so, you can’t make this up

posted 5 months ago

They’ve been no different to CN if you think about it, the only difference is that EDG’s good enough to remain their region’s 1 team wonder, meanwhile we have shit like 2022 FPX, 2023 FNC, and 2024 TH (0 trophies btw) immediately shit the bed the following year while keeping pretty much the same rosters.

posted 5 months ago

They’re ass. They’ve been ass since like 2021 or something. They’re always getting bench pressed carried by a single team every single year since then and it’s fucking embarrassing, and now they’re delayed in finding their one special team to make their entire region relevant. Please stop caring about EU it’s literally not worth your time, they’ll never catch up to NA, APAC, and now EDG.

posted 5 months ago

ain’t no way it’s real

posted 5 months ago

That’s the correct way to say it

x1 Champions trophy
x1 Champions FMVP
x1 Masters trophy (Bangcock)
x2 Masters finalist
x1 regional trophy
x2 top 3 regional

and his success only started in 2023 + we’re only 3 months into 2025.

downgrade

personally I always lift up my index finger even though my entire hand can easily do the job, it’s just more comfortable that way and it’s been like that ever since

I tolerate it but would not recommend, the sweetness of the pineapple throws off the rich tomato sauce I love the most about pizza. Maybe if it was a shit pizza then I’ll get some pineapples to spice it up but on a good pizza? Never, it would objectively ruin the balance of the flavors that makes good pizza good. It just wouldn’t make any sense.

patitek’s a nice guy is all, it looks like you hate him the most here

posted 5 months ago

I love how this post is pretty much just you showing your general bias on certain players as the average SEN fan. Literally why would you think Patitek would do any of that when he’s well known to be nice af according to other pros and even stayed in the arena to watch GENG lift the masters trophy.

that’s Kick Off, the bo3 shitfest galore. This is Split 1, with an actual tournament format. Oranges to apples here.
