It depends on the team. Assuming they qual:
Proven pros Wardell, TiGG, Rossy plus CSGO legends Stewie2k and Brax would be a safe roster to sign.
BreakThru has some insane players, maybe an org would sign them.
OXG technically has an org, but maybe a larger org would sign them (basically ex-Pitt Knights + C9 mitch)
Dark Ratio would've been signed already, Trick's project has been a top consistent Tier 2 team for a LONG time.
Same with Nearest Airport.
Maybe Disguised actually gets picked up by an org and not a single human?

stewie was the most accomplished (what i personally meant by greatest) NA player until twistzz had so many wins/EVPs in 2022. now twistzz is the greatest NA player, i'll give you that. elige/naf are probably more talented, but stewie still has an edge over him since liquid stopped finishing 2nd once stewie joined.

knights allows a bunch of independent creators to stream/cast their games (sarcopels is an example that comes to mind, among others). there was a sign up for independent creators again, so I assume open quals will work the same way. vlr will start updating pages around match start time. if you hang in the comments under a match you wanna watch, sometimes commenters will drop links before mods update. don’t expect much tho, as this qualifier doesn’t feature many interesting teams. coverage will increase during the double elim top-32 bracket.

plus if you have to game plan for random immortal teams to make it from 256 to 32, you don’t deserve top 32. especially when there are only ~10 teams worth anything at all, and even those are orgless.

wardell brax and stewie have been competing for years. they're 24-26. and csgo experience matters here since they're similar games, similar practices, similar team play, etc. so yeah, compared to the open qualifier teams, they are MUCH more experienced.

compared to the franchised teams, or the directly invited ascension teams, they're roughly even.

have u seen the competition tho? all the non-franchise orgs are likely invited (6 total, ex: G2), so nobody really stands out. including tigg/rossy, but oh well.

are playing open quals as "The Nation." wardell was my fav player back in the day so this interests me, plus stewie is popular from cs. no idea how this team will hold up, or if brax/stewie have enough valorant experience yet, but i figured some ppl would care.

when i said they were tier 2 a couple weeks ago, i disagreed with HEAVILY

controller is one of the simplest agents to play. and they can typically blow their smokes and run in with duelists, which is good if you're an entry-IGL type.
initiator used to be a good IGL role when sova was always played, since sova is kinda designed to sit back and stay alive all round. fade/skye/kayo are all used as entry agents NOW though, so controllers are still >>>
sentinel agents are decent for IGL, but you're lurking on attack and not with the team, so it's not ideal. i threw them in since FNS

for the past few months, i feel like the operator has been much less prominent in pro play.
notably, yay/optic use it. cryo/xset use it. ardiis/fpx use it.
a lot of other teams go without a designated operator player. a lot of gun rounds, whether offense OR defense, i saw 5 rifles.

i still believe that teams need a designated operator player to be elite, so we'll see how this changes in franchising.

can't deny the young talent that 100T has now, though, with Bang AND Cryo.
