They're good on split, but at least with sinatraa their best map was arguably haven

BcJ is a legend, but Babybay is definitely not underrated anymore. Also, zombs? Really? You have players like Kanpeki and ScrewFace and zombs is underrated?

posted about 3 years ago

Straight facts. People look like they're cheating in valorant when they're actually not btw. Most of the actual cheaters are diamond+. It's cuz of ping and peeker's advantage.

Rb poggers, ez VS 2-0. Don't even need to know the opponent.

FaZe Babybay (Jett)
IMT Shot Up (Reyna/Phoenix/Raze/Breach, could also put TenZ in this spot.)
NV crashies (Sova)
LG aproto (Cypher/Raze)
100T nitr0 (Omen -- I know Ethan is doing it now but he definitely still can. I think Ethan could also fit into this spot, 50/50 for me.)

Look up Seoldam on youtube, or in the Stats page

Did ya stop watching after 1st half of map 2?

posted about 3 years ago

Oh, you're right, second map (Sentinels map pick) wasn't close at all. :)

posted about 3 years ago

I mean... MECHANICALLY I might say that Seoldam would be better. But it's hard to judge because he's playing against apes and TenZ is playing against greats.

posted about 3 years ago

I mean, maybe. But my comment was Europe-specific.

posted about 3 years ago

Good points, all I'm gonna say is that FaZe has a ton of synergy and are palying better together since they got their coach

posted about 3 years ago

Just cause some players are farming stats on the lower-tier teams in the region, doesn't make them better.

posted about 3 years ago

I think this team can genuinely contend to getting into top 8, maaaaybe even top 4. Now the top 2 that go to Iceland? That would be a bit of a stretch but anything's possible. I'm not sure how they're going to format Challengers for stage 2.

posted about 3 years ago

Stat rankings...? You for real?

posted about 3 years ago

Top 6 isn't really "average" anymore. Plus GenG are looking great right now.

posted about 3 years ago

I mean... here's why you're wrong.

1) Not the best of logic, but Envy were considered by many to be the best team in NA before FaZe beat them. Beat the best and you are the best.
2) Sure, after they beat NRG and T1 teams weren't putting 100% in. Didn't stop them from absolutely railing LG and 100T, both of which are top 6 teams.
3) No one's putting up numbers like babybay and they're riding a streak like it's insane. After beating 100T, LG, XSET, and Envy all in a row you can definitely be considered the best in NA.
4) Who would be better? Sentinels? They have even more to prove! Lost a map to LG, barely beat 100T. Meanwhile FaZe crushed NV. 100T? Just lost to sentinels. NV? Just lost to FaZe.

You can make an argument that Sentinels are the best but it's not as strong as the argument for FaZe right now.

I agree with the Map loss and think it is perfectly justified. Sure it doesn't offer the best of viewing pleasures, but that's just tough they get what they deserve.

-choose the order of 5 maps
This seems OP. Say you're FaZe, if you got perfect map order every time you wouldn't lose a bo5.

-pick a starting side on every map
This doesn't actually offer any real tactical advantage other than confidence, so not really worth winning winner's bracket.

-ban(prevent) 1 agent from the opponents for the first map
Wouldn't be a bad idea if the team comps weren't mirrored almost every match. Sure banning say phoenix or jett would be somewhat useful but most bans would limit your comps as well since everybody plays mostly the same things in NA.

-start the first map with all 5 ults ready
Not only impractical, but you're just going to end up using all the ults on 3rd round anyways, so you're either going to be 4-0 or 2-2 on the first map, which isn't really a big advantage. Plus now you have to recharge all your utls again.

posted about 3 years ago

Even 100T looking shaky right now. FaZe and NV are the teams to beat.

posted about 3 years ago

Ethan, Asuna, nitr0 all top 20.

TenZ and SicK top 20.

niesow and lowel top 20.

I'm sure there's other examples too.

SEN with TenZ is insane. But FaZe with babybay is better.

2-0 FaZe

GenG has shown to be good with preparation, even grabbing a game off of Envy. 100T have been looking a bit winded lately, sure they beat Immortals but it was less than convincing. However, they're going to get a lot more practice with Ethan. I'm not sure that's going to matter because Ethan is already showing why he was a good pickup and the rest of the team needs to step up in accordance. I think this is a really close match, but GenG 2-1.

LG win Icebox, NV win whichever are the other two maps.

posted about 3 years ago

I think Brazil, and especially Gamelanders, have a serious shout at a good spot in Masters 2. But I think NA and EU's representative are definitely going to be the favorites.

posted about 3 years ago

Gamelanders might be good compared to EU and NA but Vision Strikers just aren't. They have very good set pieces but their midround and situational awareness isn't that good. They would get torn apart by FaZe or SEN.

posted about 3 years ago

Honestly both of these teams looked pretty bad in their Bo3

posted about 3 years ago

No one's underrating them anymore

posted about 3 years ago

I mean, yeah, nitr0 is very good, but so is SicK. SicK is arguably the best player on SEN (apart from TenZ) and he's insane. I think nitr0 is a little better but it's roughly equal.

posted about 3 years ago

Two players popping off gives you a 50% chance of winning. But three? FaZe came to play.

posted about 3 years ago

Well, Bind is the real decider. If they win Bind they're the better team. But Envy losing icebox to faze is 100% expected.

posted about 3 years ago

I cannot comprehend why they let icebox through but banned ascent. It just doesn't make sense. Not a single other team except T1 let both icebox and haven through against FaZe. Their map phase is so see-through: ban split, pick icebox, pick haven. Envy's worst map is clearly icebox and FaZe's best map is icebox/haven. I just don't get it.

Coach Trippy with the diffy.

I mean, I'm just saying, there's not a lot of times where I'm reduced to 1HP from a viper ult or a smoke

posted about 3 years ago

Or they could just rework/remake the entire agent and make her more friendly to new users as well as make her more viable in general, but still keep the theme of viper

posted about 3 years ago

A couple suggestions I have would maybe be making the smokes/ults fatal, and adding another smoke so that she can use one for taking site and use one for post-plant

posted about 3 years ago

relyks vice and mitch need to go asap for c9B to have any success. TenZ couldn't even carry those guys.

posted about 3 years ago

Evidence against your claim:
1) They took Envy to 3 maps, arguably the best team in the tournament with ample preparation
2) They demolished XSET on two maps they weren't the best at
3) Luminosity, IMT, and SEN all don't look that good right now, they've had moments but overall just leaving a lot to be desired

posted about 3 years ago

Will Envy finally break FaZe's win streak?

posted about 3 years ago

I would say maybe as of right now...
steel = dapr
ethan > zombs
asuna < tenz
nitro = sick
hiko < shahzam

But this is obviously individual players, which means about nothing. I think as a team 100T has greater chemistry. So we'll see what hapenns.

posted about 3 years ago

But isn’t there a middle ground? Like Illinois or Texas for the US?

posted about 3 years ago

I don't know if I'm stupid, but I'm just wondering why there's separate regions in masters 1. For example, why is there Latin American North, Latin America South, and Brazil. I'm no genius but that doesn't seem right. NA isn't split into Canada, East Coast, and West Coast.

Don't give this dude attention please

posted about 3 years ago

GenG is a better team by far than XSET right now though. Still a valid point.

posted about 3 years ago

How are you sold on LG but not 100T lmfao. 100T are only going to get better, and they beat LG.

posted about 3 years ago

First of all, BcJ is a god. Not the #1 in ranked for no reason. Secondly, I think GenG is maybe the 4th or 5th best team in the tournament right now behind NV, FaZe, and 100T. They can go far.

posted about 3 years ago

I will post this once, please don't give this dude the attention he craves. Just ignore this post and move on. Thanks :)

posted about 3 years ago

Ok well you can look at what each team does well and kind of base it off of that. I don't agree that FPX is the best team, but I also don't agree that Vision Strikers are even top 5.

posted about 3 years ago

I have no reason to believe that Riot will stop making new maps and agents. Each time they do this, it brings more attention to the game. Like LoL, they're never going to stop making new champions because they make money. I'm sure bans will come eventually when there are like 20+ agents.
