Going 1-4 still makes it very hard to make champs.
Making split 2 playoffs is based on your overall record and giantx still have to play fut/navi/th.

GiantX got the first kill on all of their defense rounds. (purp0 with 5, redgar and hoody with 1).
I could see more breach being ran
On split: Omen/Cypher/Raze/Fade/Breach , some teams were already running this.
A few teams are running viper-less comps for Lotus but their hasnt any consistent success yet.
Icebox is tough because viper was almost perfect for that map.
The issue with viper is that she possess such a valuable niche in pro play.
However the value of viper does not translate that well in ranked, mainly because macro is not as important.
I understand the nerfs , although I think they lower the skill ceiling in her kit and make viper way less interesting.
The concept of being able to use the orb to slowly take space over time was cool.
Americas: KRU
EMEA: TH
PACIFIC:PRX

He is probably one of the best mid season pickups, kinda crazy considering he is a coach.
KRU had won 2/78 of their last scrims before he and keznit joined. - according to aguero (although some of the kru players have denied the claim)
The 0-9 regular season did not accurately reflect on the improvements and performance KRU had throughout the season.
So many games could've gone differently if one or two rounds went kru's way.
I was really happy to see them succeed in the lcq.
They had a rough kick//off but the way the fixtures were for split 1 really allowed kru to build momentum.
Are you stupid?
This has probably been his best year since 2021, arguably his best ever year.
potter is really head and shoulders above the competition
If you want to use all the vct 2024 games:
This is just split 1 stats?
Doesn't include madrid or kick//off.
(not a sen fan but) Honestly, they havent been terrible just not as great as they were in madrid.
Split ban. Finally teams are respecting sentinels' split which really helped them at the start of the season. Having an "almost" guaranteed map win is super strong. Almost every team that has won an international event had a map like this in their arsenal.
Lotus defense side. With split being banned this required sentinels to find a new map pick, which was Lotus. Yes it is attack sided but the manner in which they are required to comeback to salvage their map pick is simply unsustainable. The flaws were shown versus Leviatan but individual brilliance helped to distract from the issues.
Unlucky?: I feel like Loud played their best valorant versus sentinels, the issues with the format is that dips in form can really influence the playoff picture. Loud had a tough start to the season with visa issues hurting their preparations and compositional question marks which they were struggling to resolve.
Bind choke vs EG: This is the game that will have probably cost them playoffs. Absolute mental breaker. This loss is why sentinels can only blame themselves.
Reminds me of a certain Belgian and his opinions on duelists.
I can understand thinking a role is overrated but flat out not using the agents is shooting yourself in the foot.
He's been overhated imo, as a rookie coming in midseason his performances has been about as expected.
I like his raze movement though.
His gekko util is great.
Will be interesting to see his jett.
Can definitely see him growing as the season progresses.
Competitive environments bring the worst out of people, especially when things are seemingly out of your control.
Besides, with the way a lot of other pros are reacting, this behaviour seems commonplace in T1/t2.
there was also a reddit account that posted a while back about the supposed "bribing to get a player kicked" from dsg.
So someone in the team/close to the team/players went out of their way to make burners talking about this stuff.
I believe this is correct:
What GE Needs:
What Bleed Needs:
What T1 needs:
GE round differential is so bad that T1 have to lose now.
Even if T1 wins 2-1, the gap in round differential is too large.
Nope, this game is purely for championship points for dfm.
wait let me think./
Seems like they use maps won as a tiebreaker, when teams have the same record and same map differential.
(its also like this for blg and wolves in CN, despite wolves having a better round differential).
Starxo is becoming the polish qraxs.
Koi looked a lot better today (maps 2 + 3), really could've won.
Koi actually managing to convert man advantages.
I wouldn't mind keeping Grubinho instead of profek.
I really like westside though, incredibly talented.
Reminds of less, especially in terms of his aim.
oh wait... we forgot about patitek.
Duelist: Kaajak
Flex: Kamyk
Initiator: Molsi (Igl)
Controller: Profek
Sentinel: Westside
Strats?: Polska gurom.
Right now the meta comps are really bad for chamber.
Buffing chamber could easily lead to some very bad power creep if they decide to nerf some of the meta agents.
Valorant is more exciting for viewers with the sacrifice being competitiveness.
Every game in VCT has so much weight to it, the pressure for every game is so high.
Losing a game is incredibly punishing and can derail your entire season.
I prefer the CS format because there is so many more events, matches and formats.
Teams aren't punished as hard for underperforming because they have the opportunity to perform at another event.
Valorantle CHINA #57 2/8
⬛ ⬛🟨 ⬛⬛⬛ ⬛

Yeah I feel like he shouldve worded it differently.
The premise is that the individual talent of the roster was super high on furia 2023, they just failed to work as a cohesive unit.
With the mental aspect being the major flaw of furia.
nah wo0t has been the most hyped up prospect of the franchising era.
Demon1 was more of an unknown quantity to the masses.
Depends on the opponent + what side your are on + what happened in the pistol (planting bomb helps).
Being able to buy a sheriff really helps to increase your chances of causing an upset.
Loud's buy (atleast from what im looking at) is slightly different from the fpx/navi buy, opting for more guns on round 2.
Navi try to give ardiis the vandal, with him always dying in a position where the gun is recoverable.
Atleast from what I saw in the kru vs loud game, kru managed to pick off a player early using a sheriff.
Which required loud to either rotate over or quickly get more map control + space, which did not work well.
It's because their second round is so good.
3 rifles + 2 pistols.
Which normally results in them having almost an entire rifle buy for the bonus.
My conclusion is that Deryeon is chill af.
Because the guy who used to write those articles doesnt write articles anymore.
Riot's approach to pushing major changes so late into the off//season is so bad.
The chamber one hurt so many teams who failed to consider it.
This current one, the major skye nerf, hurt some of the old static teams that failed to adapt in time for kick//off.
Current NRG are not beating fnatic.
Once you ban breeze nrg are finished.
Things are just not flowing like they used to.
Getting caught too often.
I am going to have heart attack
