Mch was a brazilian CS player and became a big streamer (for the size of brazilian valorant) at valorant.

He played with some known players like felps in his career.

I think Havan Liberty team, plays with a lot of great supports. They need someone with really good mechanics to be backed up by them. Liazzi is ok, but he is not at aspas level.

Maybe if he could be included in thoses setups he could go really well. They have good structure too, its something that havan have.

I think he needs to be coached by someone good. He is good and young, so maybe if someone teach him fundamentals of macroplay and everything else, to a international level, he could do great.

If he is not properly coached we are relying on luck. That is my view.

I love this South NA/ North Latam meme haha

posted about 2 years ago

I've been saying this since the start of all of this problem. The loud minority gets too vocal and than the whole region begins to be called aggressive (brazilians, because of the death threat) or xenophobic (NA/EU, because of the overgeneralization and exclusion or the other regions). But i want to believe that most people are nice.

posted about 2 years ago

How is the paycheck difference in EU and NA? I know that in League of legends is quite good money wise for a player to transfer to NA, what about valorant?

posted about 2 years ago

Sure, i agree. cNed keeps performing, in every single game, i think thats one of his best qualities, it doesnt matter where he is playing, or who he is playing, he keeps delivering it.

Edit : a friend of mine played in the brazilian r6 scene for some years, he said that in the beginning he was nervous just by being in a different place with cameras all around him. If he played against the same team at his house, or gaming office he said it was a complete different thing for him.

I imagine that players get used to it with time, cNed came from zula, right? Maybe he got used to zula before, so valo stage does not get him nervous anymore.

posted about 2 years ago

No, it means that someone can't perform on lan.

Like if someone gets nervous just from being on stage, or in front of a crowd or wtv. Normally they are called gods in scrims, but choke on lan.

I dont even think zombs is the main thing that brazilians are attacking EU/NA people.

I think this is disrespectful? Yes, but i'm mainly mad at people saying that brazilians destroyed the tournament, that we are mentaly unstable (gaslighting everything that we say), when we try to actually communicate most people just start making offensive jokes.

There are also those people that come with "GO BACK TO YOUR FAVELAS YOUR TRASH SHIT", but i know it is a vocal minority.

And if we communicate that we dont like those type of jokes, because we feel diminished by it, i get called "playing the victim card", which is gaslighting again.

I've never made a threat to anyone, but i get called all of those things.

This is the last time im explaining anything here.

He did, in portuguese.

He said that we should start changing the community internally. That we shouldn't make other people afraid in those situations, that it harms people more than helps.

Ocelote is pretty liked here, at least in the League of Legends community. He came here for some Intel extreme masters in the past, i remember the he got close with some lol proplayers, keeps sending messages to us. One of his former G2 players even played in our best world campaign at 2015 with pain gaming.

I think he will be welcomed.

The translation of what fallen said was:

"Pessoal a gente precisa começar uma mudança, principalmente a comunidade brasileira gamer, de ameaçar e tentar fazer a outra pessoa do outro lado se sentir com “medo” para punir algo que foi feito e não gostamos. De maneira alguma isso reflete nossa essência como povo."

We need to start a change, specially inside the brazilian gaming community, of threathening and trying to make the other person feel fear to punish something that was done and we dont like. In any way this reflects our nature as a people.

"Como brasileiros, em grande maioria, somos um povo simpático e caloroso.
Não precisamos mostrar uma face que nem reflete que somos para nos proteger.
Para nos defender não precisamos incitar medo, violência ou punir os outros por estarem errado.
Somos melhores que isso"

As brazilians, the most of us at least, we are a friendly and warm people.
We dont need to show a face that doesnt even show who we are to protect ourselves.
To defend we dont need to incite fear, violence or even punish the ones when they are wrong.
We are better than this.

The godfather of brazilian cs has spoken! haha

I would me amazed if they just dropped some reggae and ragga beats at champions.

I think they just assume young people like electronic cause old people normally doesnt, i guess?

Thanks for all the answers, i edited the post with the main points that i got from here.

If you want me to put something in the TL;DR so other people may understand it too, just type under this comment.

Im going to watch FUR vs KRU for now, but i can edit later.

I know that a lot of people played PUBG mobile in brazil, but they switched someday to freefire, its probably top 3 e-sports in brazil right now.

As i dont follow mobile games, i didnt know.

I will take a look into the teams later.

posted about 2 years ago

Np bro.

I am actually interested in understanding India's gaming scene.

posted about 2 years ago

Oh i get it, mobile games are becoming huge in brazil now. I think somehow its going to get its space in the rest of the world soon, specially if china continues on this trend.

Here in Brazil is not everybody that can have a computer to play, but its more because of the economic condition of the country. A gaming computer nowadays are very expensive.

In a certain way, indian parents are kinda right, for most people games are just hobbies, not a career.

Thanks for the answer shadowisbad :)

I didnt know about word.exe, just googled it. 2018 was a year that i didnt watch anything, i was finishing university, working, so i didnt have that much time.

posted about 2 years ago

Oh nice, i dont watch mobile games. Thats why i didnt know. Thanks for the answer.

posted about 2 years ago

Population was more because they could be a region on their own, like Brazil, China and etc...

I understand than.

So in the future we can see more of you guys, thats nice :)

posted about 2 years ago

Why are you so agressive, man?

posted about 2 years ago

But is there any e-sports that is big in India?

There some e-sports that is not big in the rest of the world, but are big in Brazil, like free fire (mobile game).

posted about 2 years ago

That's beautiful from both of them.

posted about 2 years ago

Fellow Indian friends.

India have 1 billion people in the country, why are they never a region inside the e-sports scene? At least at DotA, LoL, CSGO and valorant i dont see them appearing. Do people like e-sports in India?

It's a honest question, , this is not in any way flaming towards your region.

Edit: My point with population would be, because they could be a region on their own if they had a lot of people playing it. Like brazil has its own region, China normally have it too and etc..

Edit 2: I would like to thanks everyone that honestly answered me, i was trying to do one by one, but i see that i got a lot of answers haha

If someones wants a TL;DR answer this is what i got:

  • Indian parents thinks that gaming is a waste of time and that you should focus on your studies (Engineering/Doctors?)
  • Mobile games are actually huge in India, they like specially Pubg Mobile (which they are among the best) and free fire.
  • PC is very expensive, even though internet is cheap.
  • They have started at CSGO, but an unfortunate event (word.exe) happened and it harmed their scene.
  • After pandemic PC culture started and we may expect them in future valo.

Why would he talk this on twitter? He is the fucking Co-CEO of Furia, he could just get in touch with riot, i imagine... If he felt like riot should do something.

3 Coaches gotta do something haha

They just dont have the culture of FPS, maybe they are starting from the beginning, fundamentals, training aim and etc...

Jett + Breach great combo. He stuns she just come dashing and killl the person.

posted about 2 years ago

If people just focus on the game and stop talking about all of this, posting twitter threads here and etc it will die eventually.

posted about 2 years ago

He looks like VKS fans hahaha

If they win SAADHAK AND SACY ARE CRAZY! GTN IS OBVIOUSLY JESUS!

If they lose: disband, #FREESACY, -gtn + aspas hahaha

Same thing happens in BR league of legends. The community if im not wrong is the third with most viewership in the world. We are worse than CR in valorant. We have been trying to get out of group for 10 years already haha. We had our upsets like winning against top 1 EU team in groups, but ending up 1-5 in groups, winning agaisnt top 1 chinese team once and etc across the years.

I think we just like to see our team trying, even if we know that they are going to lose.

I'm not japanese, but it could be the same thing.

posted about 2 years ago

Even if they dont do well, they already have only 1 slot and a lot of people likes to root for them. Brazil was not showing promising results until champions, maybe they just need a little bit more of time.

That doesnt discard other regions to join, maybe 24 team format would serve it well, give a direct spot to turkey, cis, (maybe 2 slots each?) include OCE, CN (they are supposed to be coming soon, right?).

posted about 2 years ago

From the results that we have until now, i would say EMEA > NA > BR >= KR ( because we have more teams showing promising results).

posted about 2 years ago

I see SEN as a more all around type of team, like they play good in all maps.

ACEND looks like they focus a lot on bind, because they never lost on the map and looks a totally different team there haha

So i would vote for ACEND.

Oh i didnt know that, that another point to yay that he is not only trying to get fans, maybe he likes the language and want to send a message to the people that speaks it.

I'm trying to learn german, i try to use at least a word with everyone that is from there haha

I think he is doing the same thing, is good way of connecting with other people :)

posted about 2 years ago

I'm sorry if i got it wrong, than.

There are some people that are not doing for fun. I will edit the comment saying that i misjudged it. My bad.

posted about 2 years ago

I knew, but you are trying to use a common way of changing the meaning of something with humor.

The argument is obviously not a "they use death threats too, so we can do it either", but "We all have stop".

But, wtv, we dont need to continue to discuss this. You are not a bad person, you had a bad moment.

posted about 2 years ago

Yay actually played with some brazilians in CSGO for a brief period of time. He is friends with xand for example.

They are being friendly, why can't they be friendly?
