i think there's a chance, heretics are a very momentum-based team and even though this game was close and heretics absolutely wont win their next game if they brought out this form, i think the win here will lead them to play much better next game

i was more referring to shanghai and seoul, where they did a full and then almost full lower bracket run to the finals

heretics usually play their best in these lower bracket runs, think they can definitely pull off a win against nrg/gx
winning against fnc/prx will be tough but i think its doable, theyll have the momentum while fnc/prx coming off a loss might shake them a bit
im scared for a rematch against g2, dont know if th can pull that off

but they need to go back to double duelist or double init, this double controller is not their playstyle

inspired by drx's waylay yoru composition being christened the "mosquito comp", i was wondering if there were any other fun nicknames for team comps used in pro play? the only ones i can remember are the ascent comp and talon's nine lives/zombie comp (maybe there's an argument for the viper on haven being called the "gen g viper comp" but thats a bit of a stretch imo)

feel bad for all the trolling of a completely normal comment but ngl it made me laugh

prolly bc its difficult to hear/see shock darts coming and you have to have line of sight with your trips, if you're constantly focused on trying to anticipate the incoming shock dart you could miss info on other parts of the map (especially with cypher cam being a big part of defense info)

think mibr will be fine, heretics look strong on corrode and permaban abyss, im pretty hopeful th is better on most other maps

consistency is a thing a lot of people have said, but i think the big thing that sets him over the top for me is the fact that he completely lifted teams from nothing to championship-caliber. look at loud after aspas left, look at lev before and after aspas played before them (maybe sato will bring them back but not yet), look at mibr before he joined. he completely revitalizes teams out of nowhere and gets them to deep champs runs. its hard to say that chronicle can’t do that bc we just havent seen it happen yet but its undeniable that chronicle has always had the better cast on his rosters. maybe he’d be able to do it but until he does, im gonna put a lot more respect on aspas’s name for doing it 3 times now.

(ofc if fnc win champs i cant really argue with 4 trophies vs 1 and ill have to admit chronicle is the goat but i think i can give more leeway with 3 trophies with super rosters)
