lots of good strats from talon but also a little one-dimensional from t1, they're just exec'ing

comes down to 12-team league at the end of the day, this is by far the best format you can do for a 12-team kickoff tournament
whether or not having only 12 teams in the league is a problem is a different issue

gc definitely gave a spotlight for flor to shine, so i would argue that it contributed significantly to her signing to a t1 team this year
if you don't mind me asking, how exactly would riot motivate teams to sign gc players outside of the current method? the company just asking teams to do so would not affect anything, and providing financial motivation for them to do so would likely fall under your self-defined umbrella of "inequity"

while i agree that tejo needs the nerf (personally i think just making the salvo non-rechargeable is enough), i dont mind cypher and kj having less play than vyse and deadlock, its new and interesting

the recharge is a bit op but also it does force people to play less congested positions on defense/post-plant, which is a fun change of strategy

i mean, sen and nrg are like 100% both making champs though lol

100T have some rlly good protocols, that bonus round on attack where asuna fast satcheled into heaven with the stinger to ensure close-range fights was really well set up

as someone who predicted that c9 would beat nrg... i think they're still going to at least make finals of one lan

to add to what everyone else said, she also had a LOT of haters coming into the league who said she wouldn’t be able to perform at all and get diffed by tier 1 players. so yeah, people are happy that she performed pretty well and is clearly holding her own. did she have a god-tier debut or something? no, but she played very well and its an important step to making the step from gc to tier 1 easier
