Yes it does because we're taking into account the best team of the year lol. Consistently high placements means something. It's not best team of the tournament or peak best team or whatever.
Being able to perform consistently well during the length of the season is a valid and valuable metric.
I believe it was because LATAM #2 KRU beat BR #2 NiP during the qualifier, which, according to Riot rationale, meant that LATAM as a region was more competitive than BR, so LATAM got the playoff bye.
I just feel like the 2 trophies in 1 year thing is just not debatable. No team has won 2 trophies in 1 year except FNC - and they did it back to back.
Best team of the year means Champs is taken into account but the other 2/3rds of the year are also very important.
Their single tournament performance was the best in history but I don't think their year was. 1st, then 5th-6th, then grouped.
Plus, this was the first year of international VCT.
i think BR were in playoffs Masters 1 but didn't get playoffs M2 because Lev KRU won the BR/LATAM qualifier

i spent like half my time growing up in the library. i read books all the time, so i'm pretty good at reading fast and understanding what i read - massive advantage in the SAT and in general tbh. If one gets the hang of skimming through and getting the idea, then all you need to do to solve the analysis questions is quickly go back to the passage to find that one justifying sentence. Saves you so much time tbh, I remember finishing my R&W with like 30 min left to review my answers
From my experience, most people get tripped up on the R&W portion over the math portion on the SAT.
If you find the Math section ridiculously easy it's better to focus on R&W. A lot of things written on social media aren't exactly grammatically correct and that may confuse you on the real exam. It's better to at least get a good grasp of proper grammatical structure and punctuation, and reading a lot of books or even just Wikipedia articles will help you with that Reading section.
Being able to skim through the Reading section is huge, if you can train yourself to do that.
And, obviously, doing a few practice exams wouldn't hurt :)

Not gonna lie, SPG looked terrible vs local competition, and so did RNT. Only advantage with SPG is the quality of scrims they have access to, given every team was in Korea a few days back, let alone every Pacific tier 1 team they have access to.
SPG won, but their executes, planning/timings, trap setups, etc looked off. Maybe too much of how good Geng and DRX plays made my expectations sky high. Also, pretty much every team in ascension has a similar record, everyone cooked during split 1 and played their A game in split 2.
RNT's stats show their winrate on icebox was less than 50% even before they picked it. Yoru on icebox as main dualist, everyone knew it was a 2-0 when it started. SPG in my books still doesnt look as good as FS, BOOM or riddle.
Chill out. SPG has had really good games but they haven't looked flawless. Riddle order came close. SPG won ascent based on two hero sheriff rounds. You honestly don't want to jinx their run like everyone did for m80 is all I'm saying.
SPG hasn't looked all that was promised, whacky comps and aggro gameplays only work till you come across 5 aim demons who are disciplined - Time for Boom or bust show
Not true at all , the thing is at a good level of valorant util matters much more than aim , if you set your duelist up for success he will definitely kill multiple if he is actually good.
SPG and FS are much more well drilled - great util setup, great discipline, great leta exploitation with neon.
The best raw aimers in tourney are DSG guys followed by Boom . Let the tournament continue you will see you will see
