They complain about Riot this Riot that but I don't see any complaints about actually relevant issues like SEA orgs just failing to properly incorporate their domestic talent. It took almost the full season for Talon to get Primmie, because Fr0sT didn't like his first impression. Why weren't people mad about that? What about the constant complaining about Estrella being a double agent despite Monyet kinda shitting the bed during today's game and Estrella actually being kinda decent?

For example, why is Juicy on Wolves and why did no SEA team pick up ex-DSG (like grumble?) Why is Sultan teamless even though both he and dos9 were insane?

i'm just pointing out how badly you're crying rn when you have had more slots than Korea since the start of franchising, probably the most beloved team in the world in 2022, 2023, and 2024, and a better T2 scene than Korea. And now you're streaming tears, sobbing, ugly crying about how after 2~3 whole years playing in Seoul for a LOT of these players (PRX roster, TS roster, RRQ roster - Kushy), it's actually the location that benefits Korean teams and disadvantages SEA teams to the point where it's a legitimate point of concern and detriment to SEA teams. You know, despite the fact that Korean teams have seemingly played decently outside of home soil - aka, they don't seem to experience the issues you claim plague SEA teams.

i'm not european i have this flag to honour Twisten's memory you sick fuck.

stop coping

NA and SA are on two different continents meanwhile pretty much all Asian teams get 40-ish ping to Hong Kong servers which is where the majority of Asian ranked players play on.
sea is getting fucked by their inability to either properly manage their rosters (RRQ first roster, or TS swapping coaches pre-playoff) or their orgs have issues (BLEED was your richest org and 2nd best org prefranchising lol) or they just choke important games (RRQ, TS, PRX)

what is this cope when nongshim literally won a 17-15 OT against boom in their home country indonesia & geng won in shanghai when the chinese crowd were cheering against them every game? but it's sea teams who need the benefit of a home crowd or some kind of locational comfort? and that kr teams are good because they play at home?

as for the whole scrim thing because of how close Asia is as a region you know that all teams can scrim all the other Asian teams lol right they don't all play on KR servers. if the league was hosted in Jakarta or something the Korean T2 teams would still be able to scrim Pacific teams lol..

this level of whining is actually insane, massive respect to japanese fans for watching their teams shit the bed day in day out and not complain about some random useless bullshit and strictly focus on direct issues within their teams and not external factors outside of it.

bro SEA have been falling down, not stepping up lol prx is no longer the best team in Pacific (for now)

SEA has the most Partners slots...
TLN/PRX/RRQ/TS = 4 Slots
5 if you count GE

Brazil also had a direct slot to Masters and Champs, and had a chance at a 2nd slot + LCQ.
In fact, BR had 2 whole slots at Masters 2 Reykjavik and Champs 21 not including LCQ.
KR didn't have that chance.

exactly that's my point. zeta actually regressed even though they werent good to begin with

i heard he just shit the bed in tryouts

anyway blazeking is kinda mid

they could have maybe gambled on saya to stand in for patrick tho

posted 6 months ago

I wrote that because I'm such a hater ngl the humiliation of losing your spot of the strongest JP team to a team that basically got shit on for the past 2 years is unbelievable

Papi Kr1stal UdoTan and KellyS are pretty good I feel. think they really just need Patrick.

DFM 0-10 2023
DFM 2-8 2024

DFM actually 2-0 in VCT for the first time and are Japan's strongest team

ZETA had 2 years to establish themselves as the hope for Japan and DFM went from 0-10 to looking like Japan's strongest during that time. How embarrassing for Zeta.

that guy transcended nationalities bro he was that bad

posted 6 months ago

because Estrella is the foreigner on a primarily Indonesian team lol. Xffero played just as bad if not worse on Haven.

posted 6 months ago

Perhaps it's just a higher level of competition and thus the team overall struggles against better teams, not just him? 🤯

posted 6 months ago

Margaret is nuts, no way I'm replacing him with another IGL.

posted 6 months ago

weird ass comment lol?

posted 6 months ago

I'm not a big Estrella hater but he's not someone I rated highly. I've known him since he was guNkorea on F4Q.
Shit, I remember being a little bit excited because someone said this guy was the truth early on. Dplus didn't do hot at Ascension, but in my eyes, the only player who was good on that team was Exy, not Estrella.

Shit, I was one of the few defending his performance vs GEN.G yesterday.

Estrella is okay-ish, but I don't see him replacing anyone on a top KR team nor do I see him as a valuable enough talent to warrant a permanent position in Tier 1.

ah that's unfortunate. he was a beast on SDC. That team is so unfortunate.

WHAT
what happened to him, guy was the goat on SDC

posted 6 months ago

nah, guy is pretty mid. he's not the sole reason RRQ loses games but he's not good enough to be on a Korean team. There's a better IGL in tier 2 called Empty, and probably a lot more in the wings.

opened up 100T Icebox and saw a lack of easily comprehensible diagrams or defaults.

JP tier 2 has been a higher level than their tier 1 for the past 2 years I think. It just looks bad because their tier 1 teams are incompetent as fuck and incapable of properly staffing good players, plus they're slow to scout their promising players and assemble a team capable of reaching the peaks shown by their individuals.

posted 6 months ago

I actually wasn't too disappointed with SyouTa's Chamber today, at least. Seemed like he was put in a pretty difficult spot on Fracture tbh, and it's a sample size of 1. His Cypher has been looking very decent though. He can't take Dep's spot as Duelist, and SugarZ3ro is serviceable on Smokes, so it makes sense they'd put him on Sentinel.

If by some miracle Laz unretires, then a JP godsquad of Meiy duelist, SyouTa flex, Dep Initiator, Laz Sentinel, and SugarZ3ro Smokes with someone like bullco (JDT coach) and a competent assistant coach could be pretty good, assuming one of them can pick up IGLing.

fighting games are a pretty big pillar of esports tho. this is like saying Korea isn't good at esports back in like 2001 because they were only good at StarCraft...or something

posted 6 months ago

4 years bro. that's all i'm going to say. 4 years with the highest level of interest in Asia.

posted 6 months ago

real. SyouTa was at the top of Tier 2 for two fucking years playing two different roles and only now does ZETA think of getting him LOL and to make things even crazier he's now fragging on ANOTHER role

posted 6 months ago

It's not shallow, i never said it was shallow, it's that ZETA's management is so fucking slow at scouting good players and they're so unwilling to let go of bad ones I feel. Same applies to their coaching staff. Honestly their current roster isn't even that bad. It's mostly a coaching + management diff imo

posted 6 months ago

they have had the game for 4 years and a larger playerbase/sponsorship interest than regions like Korea for the entirety of that time. "give them time" is insane bro it's been 4 whole years even China has had better performances than JP and they got the game like 2 years late

posted 6 months ago

shit, would be better than whatever these frauds have. Lowkey even Mini would have a hard time fixing their problems holy shit

posted 6 months ago
  1. Their coaching staff is actually ASS lmfao, these guys at ZETA management have to actively be looking for shit coaches. How is Carlao still on the staffing roster LOL GE got a better coach than ZETA in the offseason, that's crazy.

  2. Their player selection is too delayed. They had Laz & Dep for the longest time, and SyouTa was rotting in Tier 2 for ages, but they refused to drop the bag for JP T2's strongest player bar Meiy and kept TENNN & crow, even shifting crow to the assistant coach role as if he did anything LMAO I wonder if they've looked into RIDDLE's players considering the run they had in Ascension. They're literally from ZETA Academy.

  3. The players themselves have like 0 passion it feels like. They have legit no reactions to losing from what I've seen. Laz was the only guy in the Japanese scene who actually seemed to care about winning. These guys look so dispassionate. They're disjointed as well, there are some times when it looks like one of them wanted to flood and the other just waited, or the trade was so slow because the other guy wouldn't proactively look for it. Like what are you doing, why are you so passive? Didn't these guys want to play like PRX? The Japanese scene was suffering from passive baity playstyles since the game released and nothing has changed.

posted 6 months ago

what run at 2023 Champs LMFAO they won LCQ off of Laz being an insane Chamber

posted 6 months ago

it's actually impossible LMFAO the only good players from that region are Dep SyouTa and Meiy
