meteor said munchkin lay on the sofa all day vod reviewing other teams at shanghai instead of playing ranked
i don't disagree w/ u but it was said that gambit was not at full strength due to riot covid scheduling
even though geng got grouped meteor was top 10 at champs rating wise
i love it when you call me big poppa
put your hands in the air, if you's a true playa
i'm inclined to think meteor too because he did it on 2 different teams and he's more flexible. but kk has a real claim because champs is champs and he broke the kill record too
GEN.G, PRX, EDG
gen.g was the best team of 2024, making grand finals in 5/6 events (Kickoff, Madrid, Stage 1, Shanghai, Stage 2), also the first team to win a trophy for Asia (Shanghai).
prx have made multiple runs at internationals since 2022, and also won Pacific multiple times (2023, Stage 1), also made Champs Grand Finals.
edg won champs 2024
follow up question:
is meteor the best asian player of all time, or is it kangkang (2x masters trophy vs 1x champs)
a lot of asian orgs will do some minor-semi major photoshop on player headshots to make them look nicer
that's the way every day goes
every time we've no control
ban is not individually better than udotan or kellys
tralalero tralala
edit: did not know ts was offensive
i agree with everything u said except its true that this drx isn't exactly peak form what with flashback benching himself like a week ago
someone explain these memes to me where did they come from what even are they
stax shooting trent in the kneecaps changed the entire game
same with valyn whiffing on meteor on split
getting seeded directly into playoffs is such a joke change my mind
cannot give a rational and measured response = "you're baiting" yeah good to know buddy
That's just a blind assumption, there's more evidence to suggest G2 wouldn't perform bad with their original roster than not.
scrims are still an indicator of performance more often than not.
the only region where ascension teams are significantly worse than the regular franchised teams is emea. In the other 3 regions there is an ascension team that performs above the average (G2, XLG, NS/BME)
So why not let Ascension teams participate alongside the top 5 of their region at Champs during their peak?
ascension teams can have the potential to win champs, stage 1 and kickoff is domestic and not in the peak meta for ascension teams. i don't see why letting ascension teams participate in Champs is such a bad idea, there are many stories of Ascension teams performing well against tier 1 teams during their peak (XLG, BME, NS, G2, M80).
SPG was rolling Champs teams in scrims and G2 literally made Champs
if i was a competitor i'd want to be able to prove my peak against the best teams in the world, fuck the practice time
they gotta change that shit dawg i want ascension teams at champs bruh
geng sen absolute cinema
did you just make up this narrative because it's the first time i'm hearing it
24 team Champs would slap
top 5 from each region + Ascension winners
no i mean it's pretty obvious, it's just that this just reinforces the notion that people would rather choose to believe something more negative than the positive
GGs sorry to all the fans we'll be back stronger #(insert team name here)Fighting!
my fault for trying to be diplomatic gang
#12
why do you guys have to tear other teams down all the time to support your own?
I don't think it's because they're braindead
I think they just wanted to believe in BOOM and that the Korean teams aren't invincible, so they latched onto the scrim sharing rumour. It's immature to jump to conclusions like that. But I get why - after all, PRX was the pride and joy of Asia as an SEA team, but it was GEN.G and T1 to bring home Pacific's trophies.
If I was an SEA fan I'd want to find a reason to believe in my region again. Obviously though, it's not right or fair to tear other teams down to bring yours up. Wouldn't it be nicer to believe that SEA is getting better and on the level of Korean teams rather than Korean teams getting worse because they "can't share scrims"?
With Gen.G defeating Talon and now Boom, what's gonna happen to the "no scrim share no win" narrative?
this is actually free money wth lol
aint zikz the guy who rejected u
