vora is legit liek the best igl from t2 who plays inti so dropping eeiu so they can get a slightly worse inti but a hell of a good igl will always be worth it

another very important note is that its more likely that a comp works well not bc of the indivudal agent being good but bc of how a team understands their own comp, for instance often when teams develop meta defining comps such as 100t 2024 bind or loud on icebox or just g2 using a lot of yoru, after teams starting using their exact same comps all 3 of these teams still stayed at the top and didnt drop off which shows that even when all the other teams use the same comp the team that developed that meta didnt get worse, these teams should have gotten worse if they just were a worse team using an overpowered comp but if they are still the best when everyone else is using the comp then they are just a good team who understand the comp.

why do u think gekko was the strongest agent in 2024, his peak pick rate was 37% which was less then sova. also even if gekko was used a lot more the meta's are mainly determined by a singular team that uses a certain comp or agent a lot and it works well, for instance viper + harbour in lock//in, 100t with gekko in 2024, g2 and sen being really the only team in kickoff to use yoru (and they were the top 2 teams, next stage a lot lot more teams used yoru indicating how much g2 influenced the yoru meta even tho no changes were made after bangkok).

the meta will not change unless teams try different things showing just how important individual comfort and ideas are compared to just playing the meta.
