• more fair (lower bracket, no bo1)

• better schedule (no clash with masters, ex. PRX has been playing non-stop so couldnt perform their peak)
  (+ official riot tournament)

• you could argue meta is more developed now
  but! this is the same meta as another tournament, adapting in kickoff is also a skill

• you could argue there are more teams at EWC
  but! not all teams tried their hardest to qualify and/or were exhausted after masters
