personality > looks, keep working on yourself (both) and it will work out
I’m sure this has been talked about a lot in the last 24h but what the hell
Teams should start aiming to end as #2 seed, apparently getting used to LAN + winning in swiss stage gives you a bog advantage
see thats the problem: because of my flag, you assume my standpoint represents emea. I am not arguing as the region…
by lumping me in with all players with an emea flag, you generalize me with other people from the region who participated in “region wars” - which I didnt
there is no better alternative?
it xlg dont start playing a whole different game sen 2-0
i’m guessing its the experience on lan difference here
holy shit this is difficult
there is not 1 obvious game, all are close to 50/50 for me rn
only of riot wants them to, thats the only way
FNC 1 is crazy, they are not tested at all
It all went wrong when Verno punched Artzin right on his chin… the rest is history
take some risks bro, rank all the teams individually because this is too boring (i cant hate on this)
for who? Artzin? Saadhak is hella experimental and it hasnt worked for 2 years now. Aspas didnt want to play with his weird comps (honestly I love them but they havent worked)
BLG have a higher ceiling imo, they deserve to win the game
On the other hand, WOL are on a high after a win against a favourite
many likable teams this tournament though, pick anyone you want (except rrq, fuck them)
IS IT HOW YOUR TEAM PERFORMS?
OR IS IT THE FACT YOURE THE BEST PLAYER TO TOUCH THE GAME?
you tell me, vlr.gg
T1 will prove RRQ are the real frauds in stage 2
as a player, he was always consistently great, though
he’s been consistently great, his mechanical prowess is incredible, he has often made deep runs in tournaments, he is your goats goat
chronicle was never the best player on his team, he may have international success (which he contributed to, of course, but didnt do that all by himself) so i cant agree hes the greatest player to touch the game
NATS GOT HIS VISA JUST IN TIME
I disagree with that, aspas’ dominance is unmatched, i feel like being the BEST player is equal to being the goat, regardless of success (but rather consistent prowess)
pretty sure that was edited by users, not valorant itself, so its just another opinion
was aspas #1 on your list before this tournament?
may be recency bias but i feel sacy is often overrated in these lists - nats has cemented himself as not only an innovator, strategist AND shooter/performer, but now also as a igl and leader to his team.
Sacy may have trophies, and he certainly was a leader/mentor to his teams, he was never as dominant as nats (as far as I remember, I’ve only been consistently watching since 2023, so correct me if i’m wrong)
Ts is so dumb. What does it matter that teams from certain regions or countries perform better? It’s TEAMS playing and it’s TEAMS winning.
Teams perform differently internationally than regionally. MIBR looked good regionally. TH looked good regionally. China was always “the worst region”, except for 1 team that won CHAMPS. Stop trying to bring nationalism into this, root for your teams and keep regions out of it.
i think tl will win tomorrow, they just came off a win, prx’s mental is broken
many of them have no international experience, doesnt really surprise me
