im sorry but toast did not 'revive' the valo t2 scene. he brought more attention, sure, but he wasnt some messiah
purp0 had 1 bad game, he will be back mark my words
both insane players that we've seen pop off crazy with hella potential, but today both look like they are one foot chained down. idk i'm just ready to see the real lewn and real purpo later this season
also westside 1v2 is living up to expectations this guys pretty good
ok so him being a good individual player is not the issue, it's that his playstyle/personality wont be
so the issue isnt that he has firepower, its that he wouldnt slot in well
tf is this supposed to mean
vit issue wont be "too much firepower", it'll be no igl
same team, different name
if they do well they will end up getting signed by a real org
11k posts in the span of last year bruh you cant be helped
comes down more to team chem then players, other than ange1 all the players are individually very good, but they are all playing under unfamiliar circumstances
say what you want about the maps, but why tf is it two maps every act. forget about vct but like it's crazy that every month and a half the map pool goes nuclear like who asked for icebox back??
wanting to know a player's nationality makes me chronically online??
i mean yeah but it would be nice, no?
ofc they aren't 1-1, but they are similar. I think pipson is a good coach (very emotional, which is good in a coach, shows that they care, and on interviews explains his more obscure comps and ideas). I also think that players like purpo, tomaszy, and cloud are proven to be very good, and the players like runner and westside have a lot of potential. I really think that the fact that they dont have a big name doesnt hurt them, if anything it helps them. I would have them top 3-4, bc the only thing that concerns me is cloud's igling, plus there is a chance that they just suck, but for the most part i def see them as a tight knit team that can have very high highs
everyone thought the geng and th rosters were not going to be anything more than mid, hsk and neilzinho were literal nobody scouts to most people
thats just natural talent at that point
shyy next goat??
imma be honest, i think that vlr should just list them by their nationality, or allow players/users to display a secondary flag. allows players to show their preferred flag but also clears confusion.
purpo- very good fragger with lots of potential
cloud- proven talent with very high agent mastery and individual skill
westside- t2 prospect with solid potential
tomaszy- very good player that adapted to senti/flex very well
runner- poor 2024 but showed good potential, decent aim and gx picked him over others for a reason
basically lots of unproven but potential talent, good mix of biggish names and smaller names, plus a roster like this wasnt built to make headlines, it was built to have good chem and win
not saying they were as good as 2022
for example fns is looking even better
sayo being at the top what a surprise
best flag in the world dont @ me
i hope your pillows are warm and your shits are liquid
the g in ge stands for greatness
you arent a true vct fan if you arent a ge fan
global is the most peak roster we've had ever
global esports will conquer the valo scene for the next years to come
its not a goated val season if everyones there
w game moment
tmv is how i got into competitive valo, its pretty surface level but i still like to watch his videos and hear his opnions
jett dash aggressively allows you to quickly break chokes and make distance, which i think yoru tp also does, it just takes a bit more util to help him
jett dash shines on defense where she can take aggro peaks and go unpunished, but nowadays most teams might fall for it once but then start to just hard clear and punish a jett pushing up, kinda defeating a big point of her gameplay
