Rise wasn't mentioned because they weren't part of an upset match. They won both games so it doesn't need to be covered. in that specific article.

posted about 2 years ago

They're upsets because they were the favourites to win the match. That's what makes it an "upset".

Oxygen Esports have signed ex-FLICKBAITERS to form their NA-based academy roster.

Oxygen Esports have competed in the European region with their all Turkish roster, where they had consistent top 4 finishes at events like Turkey Stage 1: Masters, Turkey Stage 2: Challengers 1 and Turkey Stage 3: Challengers 1. Unfortunately, the results in the Turkish region could not translate to their run in EMEA Challengers Playoffs or the EMEA: Last Chance Qualifier leading to the roster eventually being released on January 28th.

Oxygen now looks towards the North American scene with Oxygen Esports Academy. The previous ex-FLICKBAITERS squad has had amazing results with top 4 finishes at Nerd Street Gamers Winter Championship: Open 7, Nerd Street Gamers Winter Championship: Open 11 and main event appearances at Knights Monthly Gauntlet: December, Nerd Street Gamers Winter Championship: Open 12, The Knights VALORAMPAGE open qualifier and most recently the Nerd Street Gamers Winter Championship - Open 15.

The Oxygen Esports Academy roster will be:
Yassin "Reduxx" Aboulalazm
James "Nurfed" McFadden
Leandro "Virtyy" Moreno
Rustun "Rustun" Lusk
Andrew "Verno" Maust
Alan "wrap" Shen (Manager)

KRÜ Esports has entered the female scene with the signing of conir, kalita, consu, baesht and romi to make up KRÜ Fem.

The team is a mix of players from FA Team and Stars Horizon Vênus. The duo of baesht and conir won big last year in the final LATAM Game Changers of the year where they took home first place in the LAS region. The Stars Horizon Vênus trio on the other hand fell short and did not find success with the team, only making It as far as third place in the Gaming Culture - Girl Power #3 in their whole time together.

The team looks to make a statement as they compete in the Game Changers LATAM: Open 1.

KRÜ Fem is now:

  • Keila "kalita" Nava
  • Constanza "conir" Reyes
  • Romina "romi" Álvarez
  • Consuelo "consu" Rivas
  • Catalina "baesht" Arancibia
  • Camila " autumn" Gonzalez (Substitute)
  • Rodrigo "FR1X" Vivas (Coach)

Ghost Gaming have unveiled 2 new players after the release of chase and HUYNH earlier this month.

Ghost Gaming has not had the most successful year in the tier 1 scene as they were eliminated before the Quarter Finals at most VCT Challengers events, they fell to various Tier 1 organizations like 100 Thieves, Cloud9 and T1. They did however have a successful year in the tier 2 scene, making grand final appearances at Nerd Street Gamers Summer Championship - Open 12, the Nerd Street Gamers Winter Championship: Open 5, and the Knights Monthly Gauntlet: August, as well as winning the Knights Monthly Gauntlet: July.

Ghost hope find further success in the 2022 VCT season with the new additions of brawk and johnqt.

Both johnqt and brawk are looking to find success with GHOST Gaming. brawk is coming off of his second short run with Complexity earlier today. Brawk found minor success with the team only winning the Trovo Titans Smashing Beta in his second short stint with the organization. While johnqt is looking for his first taste of success with a tier 1 organization after briefly playing with ez5 in 2021.

Ghost Gaming are now:

SoaR announced they are unveiling a new VALORANT Roster. any ideas of who it could be?

Top NA free agents to get picked up (for SoaR, excluding auti, ska, etc) IMO:

  • Dicey
  • Exalt
  • The Rise Roster (had issues with contract and org)
  • BRANTED
  • Temperature
