ZETA Division, a long-standing team in the Japanese VALORANT scene and one of two Japanese representatives in the VCT Pacific league has announced their roster for the upcoming season.

https://twitter.com/zetadivision/status/1584484960773496833

The roster will consist of their original roster from 2022 in Laz, Crow, Dep, SugarZ3ro and TENNN with the addition of barce, an ex-ZETA Division player. who recently played in VCT Japan: Stage 2 with DetonatioN Gaming.

ZETA Division had a strong 2022 season with the team being the top-contender in Japan for most of 2022. In stage 1 of the VCT season, ZETA made their mark besting other top contenders in the region along the likes of Crazy Raccoon and NORTHEPTION. They managed to dominate their way through JP groups and Playoffs to be Japan’s only representative at the first international event of 2022, VCT Masters: Reykjavík. While the team started shaky with a 2-0 loss in groups to DRX, they were able to bounce back and qualify for playoffs besting FNATIC and Ninjas In Pyjamas to qualify for playoffs. Again they entered the playoffs with a rough start, losing 2-0 to G2 Esports in the Upper-Bracket. But, the team was able to make a miracle run through the lower bracket defeating Team Liquid, DRX and Paper Rex before they fell short to eventual tournament winners OpTic Gaming, leaving them with a top 3 finish at the event.

Stage 2 of VCT remained consistent for ZETA, they remained a top team in Japan with their only loss being the VCT Masters: Copenhagen qualification match to NORTHEPTION at a 3-1 scoreline. While they failed to qualify for the second masters of the year, with NORTHEPTION’S group stage exit at the event, they were able to qualify directly to VCT Champions 2022. Unfortunately, their run at champions would be cut short with a elimination in the group stage to eventual winners LOUD.

Since champions 2022 and the announcement of their entrance to the Pacific League, this is the teams first roster move.

ZETA Divisions roster for VCT Pacific is:

  • Ushida “Laz” Koji
  • Maruoka “crow” Tomaoaki
  • Yuuma “Dep” Hisamoto
  • Shota “SugarZ3ro” Watanabe
  • Tenta “TENNN” Asai
  • Takebayashi “barce” Ryo
  • Motoyama “XQQ” Hibiki (Head Coach)
  • Sawada “JUNiOR” Yuya (Coach)
  • Gya9(Analyst)

This is My first APAC article, hope it goes across well.

Rex Regum Qeon have signed another Indonesian talent in Hagai "Lmemore" Kristen Yesyurun.

https://twitter.com/teamrrqofficial/status/1583669033249177600

Lmemore joins after spending the past year on ONIC G. During his time on ONIC, they were able to prove themselves as a top contender in the Indonesian and Asian-Pacific region alongside Alter Ego and BOOM Esports. While the team was unable to make any international events within the year, they would find success in the Asia-Pacific LCQ where the team would take the runner-up spot next to fellow Indonesian team BOOM Esports, ending their 2022 run just shy of qualifying for Champions 2022.

Rex Regum Qeon on the other hand did not have the same success. They managed to make their way through the Filipino Challengers events, but could not find success when combined with other regions in the APAC region. They did manage to find success in a lower tier tournament, Predator League 2022 - Philippines where the team would take a 2-0 victory over South Built Esports. But could not replicate the success in the following event, The Esports Club Challenger Series 9 - APAC Qualifier losing to NAOS Esports in the first round.

With Rex Regum Qeon being one of the Pacific regions franchised teams, they began making changes. The team began by dropping Franz "kvzx" Kevin Dingal and Jose "Draxii" Eduardo D. Jamir and signing Eroll "EJAY" Jule Delfin, David "tehbotoL" Monangin, Saibani "fl1pzjder" Rahmad and Lmemore in the weeks following their release.

The Rex Regum Qeon roster now has eight players on the roster for the 2023 season alongside 2 members of the Coaching staff.

Currently, the Rex Regum Qeon roster is:

Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan has departed from Sentinels after 2 years with the org.

https://twitter.com/Sentinels/status/1583205676754477057

ShahZaM was a founding member of the Sentinels roster when they first made their entrance into VALORANT in April of 2020. Upon their entrance to VALORANT, the team was a consistent contender within the North American region taking wins over favorites like Cloud9, TSM and ENVY in the tournaments leading up to First Strike: NA. During first strike the team kept its dominance making it to the main event's semifinals where they would go on and lose to eventual winners, 100 Thieves.

Shortly after the conclusion of First Strike, the Valorant Champions Tour was announced, a chance for teams to qualify and compete on the international stage. Under ShahZaM's leadership the team qualified for the NA S1 Masters. But they would soon run into problems with Jay "sinatraa" Won being accused of sexual assault and being moved onto the bench. With the empty slot on the roster, the team turned to Tyson "TenZ" Ngo to fill the gap. They went on to win the tournament dropping only 1 map to Luminosity in the first round of competition. Their success didn't stop there, they went on to decimate the Stage 2 Challengers Circuit and qualify for the first International LAN, VCT Stage 2: Masters Reykjavík. The team would go on to flawlessly win the tournament not dropping a map, and giving North America the first ever international VALORANT LAN win. Unfortunately Sentinels could not keep their winning ways, with a top eight exit at Masters: Berlin and group stage finish at Valorant Champions 2021 to end their year.

2022 gave sentinels no more success. Even with roster changes throughout the year and bringing on a full time Head Coach, they still would go on to miss every international event within the year. Since their year ending at the NA LCQ, it was announced that Sentinels would receive a slot in the America's franchised league representing Canada and the United States. After the announcement, the roster was set to be reformed. All of the Sentinels roster except for TenZ and SicK have been either moved to the bench or off of the team as well as an overhaul to the coaching staff.

Since the announcement of his departure, Sentinels have inducted ShahZaM into the "Sentinels Hall of Fame" quoting:

"Under your leadership, we became Champions. You changed the way the game is played, and brought pride back to North American esports. Wherever you go, your legacy will always be a part of this team. Once a Sentinel, always a Sentinel. "

With their eyes set on 2023, Sentinels are looking to make a statement on the America's league.

The 2023 Sentinels Roster is:

yes a possibility, more likely to get keznit but still a chance.

I feel like with the roster they will, they'll appear at one international event at least.

posted about a year ago

I feel like they may be able to recreate the success that DRX had with their 6 man roster in 2021. All players on the roster are talented and with LEV being one of 2 representatives in the region, they will do anything to make them proud.

I believe Soniqs are looking into the roster they fielded for this tourney. The one which is practically confirmed is PureR.

Roberto "Mazino" Rivas has joined Leviatán, continuing the teams rebuild before VCT Americas.

https://twitter.com/LeviatanGG/status/1583236501210398721

Mazino joins the team from KRÜ Esports, where he spent his career up until this point. Under the KRÜ title, Mazino and the team managed to attend every international event to date collecting shocking results like top eight at Masters: Berlin 2021 and top four at Champions 2021. 2022 on the other hand did not provide the same results. While they were still a top contender in the Latin American region, their success on the international stage dwindled. They went on to be eliminated in the group stage at every event with their furthest placement being top 10 at Masters: Copenhagen 2022. Shortly after Champions 2022, it was announced KRÜ would be one of two Latin American representatives in the America's league and since have released Angelo "keznit" Mori , Joaquin "delz1k" Espinoza and Mazino.

Leviatán on the other hand had a strong 2022. Altough they placed second to KRÜ all year in regional events, they finally got revenge and beat the team in a 3-0 order to qualify them for Masters: Copenhagen 2022. While they suffered a group stage exit at Copenhagen, they gained enough points through solid placements in the year to qualify for Champions 2022. At Champions Leviatán made a dream group stage run defeating Team Liquid and Paper Rex in a back to back series to qualify them for playoffs as the top seed in group A. Unfortunately, they could not replicate the success losing back to back 2-0's at the hands of LOUD and FunPlus Phoenix.

After champions, Leviatán would go on to move Benjamín "adverso" Poblete and Marco "Melser" Eliot Machuca Amaro to the bench where they would make room for eventual signings in Mazino and Agustin "nzr" Ibarra. While the team now has a complete roster, they still have yet to sign a sixth man, it has been rumored that the team will pick up another ex-KRÜ star by the name of Angelo "keznit" Mori.

The Leviatán roster is currently:

  • Vicente "Tacolilla" Compagnon
  • Francisco "kiNgg" Aravena
  • Agustin "nzr" Ibarra
  • Fabian "Shyy" Usnayo
  • Roberto Mazino Rivas
  • Rodrigo "Onur" Dalmagro (Coach)
  • Martin "BeTony" Bourre (Assistant Coach)
