What's up Siam

posted about 4 years ago

I feel like this came out of left field

posted about 4 years ago

Breeze is probably Loud/OpTic and Split could be DRX, FPX, Fnatic, or Zeta. I feel like we haven’t seen either one of those maps played very much though

posted about 4 years ago

Loud - Ascent
DRX - Haven
Fnatic - Icebox
OpTic - Fracture
PRX - Bind

Dumbest shit I’ve read in a while, he literally played on Valorants biggest LAN yet. You can call him bad, but he’s clearly not an onliner

posted about 4 years ago

Yes, it’s a circuit with a point system, top two teams based off of standings will go to the LCQ

posted about 4 years ago

Any news on Cerberus? I really thought that they had a good shot at making it

posted about 4 years ago

i agree, the only reason I didn’t rate them as highly is because Xerxia already has such a high chance to get in and I doubt they allow two Thai teams

Hey, I made a few tierlists of teams that I think have the highest chances of making it into the franchised league based off of leaks and general info on what Riot are looking for:
APAC North
S: EDG, DRX, ZETA
A: DK, CR, DGW
B: ONS, RC, Nth, SG
C: CNJ, FAV, WBG
D: TYLOO, TOE, DTN, SZ, RIG
F: FPX ZQ, KONE, WGS, MARU, IGZ

APAC South
S: BLD, TS, XIA
A: PSJ, CES, PRX, ORD, TLN
B: Mith, BME, ONIC, AE, GFN, RRQ, NGX, OGT, GE, VLT
C: BTR, FCY, BRN, AAA, FS
D: TDK, NXP
F: GMN, MF, SPE, X10C, ENGM, FPG
(I don’t know which SA org has the highest chance so I just put them in B tier)

Let me know what I messed up and what teams I should put higher/lower (S/A = High Chances, B/C = Slight Chance, D/F = No Shot)

The DRX one looks so clean, nice work!

Bunny has better movement than Sinatraa imo, but they both have pretty iconic movement

posted about 4 years ago

with Xeta qualify for masters? I honestly think they had a pretty good chance this stage had they not transferred him and Autumn to T1

posted about 4 years ago

I hope Gen.G get denied franchising in NA, attempt to move to KR last second, and get denied a second time in APAC in favor of DRX and DK

posted about 4 years ago

Loud under FPX?
DRX and PRX under Guild?

I’ll get downvoted, but I think you’re underrating the minor region teams, who also happen to be much more experienced

posted about 4 years ago

Not even right though cause NU did better than Liquid 💀

posted about 4 years ago

Other regions do the same thing, G2 and TGrd were just as hyped up (people said they’d win the whole event), just let fans be fans.

posted about 4 years ago

NA: 100T
EMEA: Liquid
APAC: Secret
EA: ONS
SA: VK, KRU/LEV (it’s two teams btw)

posted about 4 years ago

DRX proved that they were a top five team last event, I don’t know why you’re so pressed about this. FPX is the team that actually has to prove something, yet you’re fine with them being placed top three with no questions? Pretty hypocritical

posted about 4 years ago

DRX did go against the best team in the world, which is OpTic, and also had a close game, what’s your point? Also DRX beat PRX who is definitely better then Guild or M3C

posted about 4 years ago

I’d assume PSG Talon, hopefully they buyout Griffin

posted about 4 years ago

Idk, I feel like it’s more like 5-8 can beat each other, DRX and PRX showed that there’s a pretty big tier gap between them and NiP/KRU/XIA

posted about 4 years ago

Funniest thing is that, other than EMEA/NA, Plat Chat do the exact same thing by watching one game and than rating an entire region based on it

posted about 4 years ago

If he could play more disciplined he’d be nuts

posted about 4 years ago

-some of the best aim in the world, to the point where I wouldn’t even be surprised if some of them were cheating
-terrible utility usage and have no clue how to play as a team

I see EDG getting a win or two but they’d realistically have to get pretty lucky to beat ONS, DK, or Nth/Zeta

posted about 4 years ago

If KRU win: LOUD, OpTic, DRX, FPX
If NiP win: OpTic, DRX, FPX, Nth

posted about 4 years ago

It's more like an East Asian style, PRX just don't do well against teams that can set a slower pace (Zeta, DRX, Nth)

posted about 4 years ago

DRX got fucked by having to reveal their set plays on Icebox so early

posted about 4 years ago

Imagine if LATAM win the LCQ and Loud have to play through groups, we could see a group with FPX, DRX, LOUD, and Nth
Hope they don't do the 4 teams go directly to playoffs bullshit again, you should not make playoffs purely off of domestic play

I’ll be his full time mental coach and hypeman if it means he’ll put up numbers like he does in KR bro

posted about 4 years ago

Hopefully they don’t throw all their current comps away like they did in Reykjavik, I really like their current roles. I think they’ll do good this stage too, but if Rb can’t perform again, I think they should consider trying out a new player

posted about 4 years ago

Fnatic 7-0
OpTic 6-1
PRX 15-1
DRX 9-0
Nth 9-1
KRU 8-0
Loud 6-0

Teams have been pretty dominant in their own region this stage, should make Copenhagen even more competitive than Reykjavik was

posted about 4 years ago

one slot = one dominant, more experience team = riskier for new orgs to invest = less sponsors = more players going to JP = less talent in the region

Plus DRX don’t even scrim KR teams, so our teams can’t use them to improve.

posted about 4 years ago

I doubt it, just because DRX always seemed to be their counter

METEOR TO MASTERS LFGGGGG

posted about 4 years ago

I disagree, someone who is racist and mentally unstable should not be accepted into the scene, these kinds of people can’t be convinced that they are allowed to act this way in society and get away with it. He should use this as a learning experience. How else is he supposed to learn if there are no repercussions? Also there is already a thread on this: https://www.vlr.gg/109263/kamo

posted about 4 years ago

Only way I see them making it is if they buyout a HK/TW team like Griffin

posted about 4 years ago

And Talon had the chance to sign them but chose a tier 3 PH team instead, actually such a missed opportunity

haha, I’m not trynna wake up anytime before 8, 6 would be way to early

I don’t think it’s ideal to remove any slot to be honest, but JP/KR deserve at least one extra to develop the scenes, since we’ve literally only seen 3 different KR teams and 2 JP teams over the past year and a half. I’d say the BR/LATAM slot is most expendable simply because BR was already given a large amount of slots to develop the scene with in 2021 (which payed off a lot) and I’d like to see my region given the same chance

posted about 4 years ago

Only if he had posted it during peak EU time :>

posted about 4 years ago

And Riot think it’s a good idea to have 30 teams in all for franchising as well :/

posted about 4 years ago

Should rotate between BR/LATAM and JP/KR each masters, give other regions some development

posted about 4 years ago

DK losing Ascent? Not a good start to the series :/

posted about 4 years ago

I’d be surprised if Riot allow them to
