I guess we’re pulling a SEN and putting the coach in 🔥

Mistic is not better than Marved lmfao, he’s underrated maybe but Marved is currently the best smokes player in the world
You’re on some crazy copium

Why wouldn’t LANs in a different game transfer over? A LAN is a LAN, it’s the experience of being in person that matters

posted about 2 years ago

Enzo is not better than Crashies and FNS may be a worse player than Boaster, but is clearly a better, more experienced IGL

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah, can’t really blame KR orgs for not investing in Valorant for a peak of like 35k viewers when they can get over +1M viewers in the LCK

posted about 2 years ago

I don’t think it’s really an economy thing, both countries have plenty of esports orgs, Korea just happens to be more invested in LoL while Valorant is Japan’s most popular esport

posted about 2 years ago

Japanese and Korean are not similar languages, players go there for larger salaries since the Korean scene is barren of orgs

We don’t want him

posted about 2 years ago

No offense, but 100T need to try not to get beat by TSM for a 4th time before I’d even consider them better than DRX
EG are also looking like an underrated team, but they have no international experience and I doubt they’d be able to beat Zeta, PRX, or DRX on LAN

You’re overrating some of the lower EMEA teams, G2 should not be above DRX and FPX are yet to even play an international event, how do you rank a team that has only played domestically better than a team that has gotten top 8 consistently at international events?
If you’re ranking them purely for domestic play, can’t you say that both PRX and Zeta have both better domestic and international achievements? Hell, even KRU has ‘all time’ better achievements than FPX

DRX vs M3C rematch

ONS 2-1 DK, should be a fun one to watch

posted about 2 years ago

Tarik genuinely has no clue what he's talking about when it has to do with any scene outside of NA, I'd be willing to bet that he has never watched a Japanese match. Coming from a CS background, you can see why he wouldn't realize how passionate APAC fanbases can be, since the scene has always been dead in that game.

posted about 2 years ago

Saya literally diffed Cryo last time they played, as long as he plays Jett he’ll be fine

posted about 2 years ago

Agreed, I was really hoping for an org like Sandbox or Ghibli to come along and sign them, but I guess they never got reached out to

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah, their players now play for Fennel, Enter Force, F4Q, and Desperado
Harry is the only one who seems to not have found a new team

posted about 2 years ago

stax, Marved

posted about 2 years ago

Heretics, Giants, and SMB all fell off pretty hard after making roster changes and selling off certain players
In NA, Andbox were also pretty competitive at multiple points but always fell a bit short

posted about 2 years ago

Xerxia had more fans than PRX, Thai fans are very passionate about the game and put up a large amount of the APAC viewership

posted about 2 years ago

The first of many orgs to get declined franchising and completely leave the scene, really nice system you’ve got going here, Riot

posted about 2 years ago

Ghost, Knights, DarkZero, Soniqs, Akrew, TBK, Gamelanders, Liberty

posted about 2 years ago

Add BR and LATAM to that list, teams there are also pretty much playing for second place

posted about 2 years ago

If an org like LG couldn’t get into franchising, I fear that Riot may actually be going through with their 8-10 team bullshit
This is just the first of many :(

STATS

mwzera https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/VK%20mwzera%234324/overview?playlist=competitive&season=all
cNed https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/ACE%20cNed%23carry/overview?season=all
TenZ https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/SEN%20TenZ%230505/overview?playlist=competitive&season=all

DEATHMATCH STATS
mwzera - 86% win rate (thats the insaniest thing ive seen in a while)
cNed - stats not availiable
TenZ - 73% win rate

RANKED STATS
mwzera - 66.3% winrate (MVP of 95% of the matches) proof here https://imgur.com/StiJmpg
cNed - 53.5% winrate (MVP of 13% of the matches)
TenZ - 60.4% winrate (MVP of 15% of the matches)

can you take your time to appreciate how insane mwzera is? without a doubt the most talented player to ever touch the game

I'll try to explain briefly why I think he is the best player in the world
Despite his insane aim and movement
The best way to know if a player is a good duelist is RAZE. There is a BIG difference between a good duelist and a jett abuser
If he is a good duelist, he needs to be good with raze.

heat? not good with raze
aspas? not good with raze
xand? not good with raze
tenz? not good with raze
cned? not good with raze
scream? not good with raze
d3ffo? not good with raze
derke? not good with raze

Thats why I think he is undoubtely the best player in the world. If RIOT by any means decides to nerf jett and shift the meta we prolly not gonna even hear names like cned and tenz again :>
He is not killing 40+ per map because when he joined VK he was forced to play a different role because heat is already a main jett... and lets be honest, every single duelist nowadays gets 20+ kills per map because team and setups are basically built around you (even steel managed to get 20 kills with it https://www.vlr.gg/29398/sentinels-vs-100-thieves-champions-tour-north-america-stage-3-challengers-playoffs-gf/?game=46692&tab=overview)

Order, Damwon, MAD Lions - all cool looking but clean

posted about 2 years ago

Only one of these teams can make it to playoffs :(

posted about 2 years ago

Goodluck Wronski! I’ve always thought you were an underrated talent, go make OCE proud :)

posted about 2 years ago

The Order that’s going to the APAC playoffs is a lot different than the one that lost to Bonkers to be fair
Now they’re pretty much an OCE superteam, especially since they picked up rDeew, which was Bonker’s best player, and Wronski who is probably OCE’s best talent atm
GE, on the other hand, was never really a superteam and the hype around Skrossi alone was x10 that of what Order is currently getting

posted about 2 years ago

oh wow you are so cool, I respect you now ok

posted about 2 years ago

Wait, did Gaimin Gladiators sign LaZe?
Also I just realized we have a high chance of seeing an Order vs PRX matchup, that should be pretty spicy

posted about 2 years ago

Has to be LAN, I really don’t want to see +70 ping matches again

posted about 2 years ago

If we only get 10 teams in total, I think the best slot distribution would be:
-3 SEA
-2 KR
-2 JP
-1 CN
-1 SA
-1 OCE

lmfao, only on vlr will someone call cap on your literal ethnicity, I guess you know better, mb

I'm literally 25% French, since my father is half Korean and half French and my mother is full Korean
Doesn't change what I said :|

posted about 2 years ago

Jett is way more interesting to watch than Chamber and she’s also not French
Flashy Jett Knives Plays > Cringe Chamber Awp + Chamber Meta killed KJ and Cypher

posted about 2 years ago

They don’t even scrim their own region sadly, which hurts the rest of the scene when it comes to growth

posted about 2 years ago

Wow, a game from last year :0
Are Sentinels still the best team in the world too?

posted about 2 years ago

But getting dogged on by G2 and Guild is more impressive? My point still stands that DRX are better and have the results to prove that they are better than M3C in 2022

posted about 2 years ago

Are you trying to say OpTic aren’t the best team in the world? I don’t get what you are trying to prove by bringing XIA into this
Either way, using the same brain dead ass logic, DRX beat PRX who 2-0’d G2. Since M3C got beat by G2, wouldn’t that make them weaker than both PRX and DRX? (again, using your terrible logic)

posted about 2 years ago

Yep, and Gambit’s literally two best achievements this year are almost beating FPX and almost beating Fnatic, top 3 team 4sure

posted about 2 years ago

Delusional
DRX were a few rounds away from beating the world champs meanwhile Gambit can’t even take a map off of Guild

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah, I’m not going to act like FPX wouldn’t have been good in Reykjavik, definitely would’ve been a top three team imo
I’m just saying though that only in EMEA can you win a few domestic matches and already be declared a top five team in the world, yet teams like PRX or DRX, who performed internationally, are rarely given the credit they deserve and often called overrated

posted about 2 years ago

Some EMEA fans just don’t want to admit how badly teams like G2 underperformed last event, so now they have been attacking Asian teams like DRX and PRX recently and calling them ‘flukes’
I still remember that Ukrainian dude who said something along the lines of “BBL are unlucky to be playing in EMEA, they could probably qualify from any other region” or the ones who said “the EMEA Challengers will be higher level than Reykjavik”

posted about 2 years ago

1) Believe it or not, many teams use DRX set plays and try to add them into their own strategy book (little things like combining a Kayo flash and dart on Icebox B to the entire fast rush that teams like NiP later attempted)
2) “They have the best strategies in the world” is half true since they have by far the best set plays, they just become a little stagnant when they have to innovate mid-round
3) Name 8 teams better than DRX (and don’t hit me with this ‘M3C would destroy DRX’ bullshit)

posted about 2 years ago

SA and OCE do not deserve the same amount of slots as KR and JP, they deserve like 1 slot each for Order and Velocity

posted about 2 years ago

A major reason why regions like KR, JP, and LATAM all only have one team is that they only get one slot, so new teams aren't given a chance to get experience outside of their region and new orgs (other than in JP b/c of viewership) aren't willing to invest
Look at what BR was able to achieve because of getting more than one slot, they still have mostly mediocre teams but the region is alive due to a boom in org investment, possible due to not having to only play against a superteam like LOUD for a chance at a singular slot
I'd argue that if teams like ONS and Leviatan, who are at worst the same tier as NiP, were able to attend a LAN, both regions would improve massively in both skill and investment

posted about 2 years ago

If all 5 players could be consistently activated at one time, they would’ve easily won masters by now. Hell, if Rb could perform outside KR, they surely would have won Reykjavik
