lmao envy had 5 days of practice for those matches

posted about 2 years ago

i'm hype for it, idk why you wouldn't be if you've been watching till now. game's going to be epic

posted about 2 years ago

hastro has always been a clown, his back and forth with 100t is legit uncomfortable to read lmao. its like he tries to banter yet he also takes everything personally

posted about 2 years ago

It's going to be interesting to see Envy's map pool tested. They really struggled in the qualifiers on certain maps because they didn't have enough practice with yay, but now I expect things to be different. Gambit have a lot of talent on their roster though, I can definitely them coming out firing on all cylinders and really surprising NV.

damn didn't know rion was an utaite

very very typical influencer apology but its whatever

better off apologizing and moving on than trying to pretend nothing happened and letting people bitch at you nonstop

posted about 2 years ago

marved was just a semipro csgo player for a long time, not really much to say

back in mdl (the semipro league for cs) a whole lotta people would throw matches and bet against themselves for money because they weren't getting paid otherwise

this shit was incredibly common so nobody really tried to do anything about it until the ibuypower situation. now people are retroactively tryna crack down on the matchfixing cases so ppl like marved who were accused of it are getting investigated

posted about 2 years ago

don't know why people are surprised. the fact that the kid that plays on controller with only judge is radiant should tell you that mechanical skill is not that important when it comes to climbing ranked in valorant

their main obstacle would be overcoming their mental block in that game, in terms of performance 100t looked much stronger at Berlin

posted about 2 years ago

nah, I said if they were competitive with 6 days of practice they would be 10x better by berlin

:)

oh man you really think most rapists get convicted, either extremely naive or extremely dumb

posted about 2 years ago

said heat was the only jett that impressed him

congrats brazil you get your scraps

posted about 2 years ago

i mean regardless of how gambit are doing if you think placement in a single elim bracket is indicative of performance, you're a dummy

lets gooooo yay is the best player in na no questions

semifinals of an international lan

remember when people thought he was a ping abuser?

posted about 2 years ago

obv for a regular team that's the normal logic, its just different when you have someone who has this much carry potential

posted about 2 years ago

so if he whiffs his knives he still has a gun LMAO that's how much they believe in him

posted about 2 years ago

the game has been out for a year how are players already out of their prime

posted about 2 years ago

acend, the team whose only accomplishment this tournament was beating smb... twice...

posted about 2 years ago

your examples are dumb but why do you think? it's funnier that way. same reason when you bot frag and win in ranked you talk the most shit

posted about 2 years ago

bro why even bring up SMB they got humiliated, almost lost to PRX

posted about 2 years ago

this was a pretty dumb response by tenz. i get why he said it but it was not a very smart thing to resurface, especially when they already resolved this shit months ago

posted about 2 years ago

they've been getting more hype because their games have been more hype. envy's matches until the SEN game were mild and low stakes

everyone knows yay is a top player

posted about 2 years ago

damn you put all the buzzwords in the past 24 hours into one post

posted about 2 years ago

brehze is a monster, was a better rifler than ethan and would no doubt be a freak in valorant too

posted about 2 years ago

comparing them to astralis was probably one of the biggest jokes you could possibly make

literally nobody that actively watched csgo would ever make that comparison

posted about 2 years ago

probably the team that wins berlin

gotta really give it up to yay this tournament, he's been a monster through and through and his stats against SEN really show it

13-4 in first kills vs first deaths against the best team in the world is INCREDIBLE, going positive against every player on the other team and clapping up tenz in the h2h 12-5

he's gone from a scrim demon to carrying a struggling andbox to being a world class star now, outshining the players people call the best in the world

not only that he's probably the most skilled rifle/awp hybrid player at the moment, capable of carrying the defensive side awping and create massive amounts of space on the attacking

genuinely an irreplaceable player and Envy were very smart to pick him up as soon as they did.

posted about 2 years ago

he's been insane for this entire tournament, personally my mvp so far

posted about 2 years ago

gambit played amazing, full credit to them. if you disabled names and showed me their matches against CR and VS i would literally never tell you they were the same team

posted about 2 years ago

games not popular in korea, comparing it to lol is like comparing fucking LEGO Star wars to fortnite

posted about 2 years ago

cr made it way closer than anyone could have predicted but gj

posted about 2 years ago

Lmao crashies has no reason to leave envy

posted about 2 years ago

different play styles but still true

posted about 2 years ago

when he is on A-site ascent it's like there are five players there, he is literally an iron wall

posted about 2 years ago

vs can as well

posted about 2 years ago

i was pretty low on k1ng before berlin, but he's really stepped it up at lan and been a key part of VS's success so far. happy to see him do well

posted about 2 years ago

don't vs and acend have to be on opposite sides of the bracket

posted about 2 years ago

that’s the dream, I’m keeping my expectations low though

posted about 2 years ago

I agree, I think t3xture would be getting lots of attention the way heat has been

posted about 2 years ago

you didn’t see how many people were saying korea were “only vision strikers” because their second seed was bad

LOTS of people conflate second seed with second best

posted about 2 years ago

there are so many people on this board that talk like experts on the korean scene when I know for a fact they don’t watch any games lmao

“vs just wanted to cripple nuturn” and “f4q is the second best team in korea” are some of the most obvious giveaways that they have no idea what they’re talking about

posted about 2 years ago

i have no interest in that, just very amused at how drastic your change of mindset is

posted about 2 years ago

well if that’s actually what you think i have nothing to say lol, agree to disagree I guess

posted about 2 years ago

think of it this way

stax, rb, mako, buzz, king

solo, lakia, peri, hyeoni, suggest

even on paper it’s obvious these teams aren’t comparable, solo and peri are players I respect a ton but their mechanics aren’t in the same universe as the other players in that list

do you really think that team would stack up to be equal to vs? and if you’re keeping allow and cutting peri then you have allow having to learn controller, which is basically a playstyle the guy has never done in his entire career and we have no clue if he would be comfortable / find success with

posted about 2 years ago

very true my friend only time will tell

posted about 2 years ago

this is false for numerous reasons, nuturn with lakia was barely keeping up with a declining VS on their old roster, finally winning against them in the match to qualify for iceland. Since then VS have replaced their two weakest players with two of the strongest players in korea, both agent mastery wise and mechanically, as well as significantly enhancing their coaching staff.

people keep parroting that “vs just wanted to kill off nuturn” when they picked up lakia but this is just demonstrably false and even if they kept lakia, the new VS would have outperformed them by every metric.

if lakia was miles ahead of everyone else in korea skill wise VS would have him on the roster. he’s incredibly skilled but so is every player on vs.
