And if EU dominates people will complain about only 3 EMEA slots at Champions (which is indeed a stupid move from Riot)

posted about 2 years ago

That won't happen cuz EU will flawlessly shit on everyone

posted about 2 years ago

Oh so Japan deserve 2 distinct spots although they play like shit?

Crazy Raccoon?
No way you are serious...

Gambit got robbed by unfair slot distribution, cuz Riot don't have enough brain cells to understand that EMEA deserves more spots

I'm not only talking about current Masters 2, they only gave EMEA 3 for Champions whereas Brazil + Latam gonna get 4

If you didn't watch any regions other than NA, your opinion is irrelevant.

Oh BuT FnAtIc AnD LiQuId DiDn'T QuAlIfY To MaStErS 1 WhIcH MeAnS SeNtInElS MuSt Be StRoNgEr... Who the fuck cares... That was before Astra appeared and before Viper buff... EU teams are insane now.

Moron

CIS / TR have 5x more skill than Japan and other trash regions which are feeded with direct slots for Masters and Champions

If you put some fucking Crazy Raccoon into EMEA, they would lose in open qualifiers straight away

posted about 2 years ago

Nah EMEA is so shit region we shouldn't receive any slots ever. KRU, Infinity, 9z and Six Karma are obviously better teams than trash Liquid, Fnatic, Gambit and FPX.

I think Latam should be getting 12 slots at every Masters and Champions they deserve it so much.

posted about 2 years ago

They will do better than Crazy Raccoon / LATAM team for sure

Maybe they can even beat Version1 but I'm not confident about this one

posted about 2 years ago

They are too far away from each other. Unless you want to make it like in Latam - winner of SEA faces the winner of Japan for 1 slot in a set location.

posted about 2 years ago

Hopefully they perform well and make Riot rethink the slot distribution for Masters 3, Champions and beyond

posted about 2 years ago

I think Japan getting its own slot is a much bigger nonsense than Brazil getting 2.

Honestly for 10 teams the best slot allocation is:
EU - 2
NA - 2
BR - 2
TR + CIS - 1
KR + JP - 1
SEA - 1
LATAM - 1

Shit, then why Turkey don't have their own slot? Why CIS don't have their own slot? Oceania? South Asia? MENA? Why does it have to be fucking Japan?

Hello there? Explain your mastermind take pls. Japan is not the only region which needs to be evolved.

You're the only 1Head here. Crazy Racoons play smeag style just like Faze, but at least Faze had some aim to work with, and Raccoons don't have shit.

If they take at least 1 map from EU / NA / BR / KR on Iceland, I will be genuinely surprised.

Also a quick reminder that Japan got destroyed by Korean / SEA teams in other tournaments before VCT.

posted about 2 years ago

That's because competition in NA is much bigger than in Japan?

It's like saying that KRU is better than Gambit, cuz KRU made it into Latam finals but Gambit got eliminated in EMEA semis. Braindead comparison.

posted about 2 years ago

Yes, that just shows how bad Japanese scene is. One of their finalists plays same agents on all maps whereas other finalist plays TSM style as OP described.

Japan shouldn't be having 1 slot on their own, they simply don't deserve it.

posted about 2 years ago

How are they supposed to do sick if they never even change their comp?
100T but from Japan.

If only there were 3 EMEA slots Gambit would make it through...

You won't get to Champions without circuit points advantage, unless you are superconfident and rely on LCQ completely.
And guess what, teams that qualify to Iceland right now will get HUGE amount of points, whereas everyone else will remain behind!

Masters 3 gonna hold more slots for all regions, hence why it's VERY important to qualify for Iceland right now where there are only 1-2 spots for each region.

Liquid looked very bad against BBL. Only after that game they showed some crazy comps and outsmarted FPX.

I think if Liquid had their initial match against Gambit / FPX they would lose (because of how bad they were back then), which would send them to lower bracket and eventually they would have to face Fnatic in order to qualify for Reykjavik.

But they got lucky and played BBL. What can I say, nice seeding from TO...

posted about 2 years ago

100 Thieves because they use Omen since forever and never try to adapt to meta, what a dedicated squad

posted about 2 years ago

That's their reward for winning FPX

Also it's hilarious how turks had high expectations for Futbolist and BBL, but in the end it turned out that the "hero" is shy, quiet Oxygen

Guild exposed hahaha, fluke team which stole BDS slot

I agree that GSL formal is quite fine, BUT:

https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VALORANT_Champions_Tour/2021/Europe/Stage_2/Challengers_2

Stupid single elimination playoffs in order to qualify for EMEA Finals. I don't think this makes any sense.

As that indian guy said, BDS won Guild in a seeding match, but still faced FPX, the stronger team at that moment, and got eliminated, whereas Guild faced weak Alliance / NiP and easily qualified. It's not fair, isn't it?

posted about 2 years ago

Why do you think SEA is weaker than Korea, Japan or Latam? That makes no sense dude.

SEA server population is as huge as NA, pretty sure that 1 team which travels to Iceland from here will deliver some massive upsets.

Derke, FPX

Somebody tell 100T that there are other controllers besides Omen

posted about 2 years ago

So fucking true, Guild gonna be the luckiest team ever if they make it twice

posted about 2 years ago

They are supposed to be happy cuz they won Guild and only one more win for Iceland etc... But in the back of their minds there is still a latent threat called FPX, that's why Boaster is a little bit upset, you see...

posted about 2 years ago

Hopefully Fnatic lose this, so that my 3 fav teams (Fnatic, FPX, Gambit) don't happen to be on the one side of the semifinals. That would be sadge.

posted about 2 years ago

At this point idk, Liquid looks scary af, why do you think Guild/Fnatic would want to play against them in semis?

posted about 2 years ago

I'm more surprised to see Brimstone lmao, 2nd most useless agent in the game after Yoru

posted about 2 years ago

This match basically determines 2nd NA contender for Iceland... But it gets played as 3rd "show" of the day, AFTER upper bracket final and lower bracket round 3, both teams here will be very tired...

Whoever designed this scheduling is a moron. Lower bracket final and Grand Final should be happening during one day, at least in NA, where there are 2 slots to share.

posted about 2 years ago
  1. It's not the same for NA and BR, in those regions top-2 teams advance to Iceland without receiving any points directly from Challengers Finals, they will earn them later on Masters 2 itself.

  2. Nobody gives a shit about prize pool when there is Champions slot on the line. 60 extra points + 150-400 points from Iceland (most likely 300-400, cuz EU is way stronger than other regions) is everything you need in order to qualify for the biggest tournament of the year. Of course there will be Masters 3, but people say it's going feature more slots for EMEA, so it will be easier for EU teams to qualify than it is right now.

Let's prepare to watch a shitshow final on Sunday as both teams desperately try to lose, or one of them gonna forfeit straight away. Riot fucking EMEA again, stupid single elimination brackets, only 2 slots for 3 enormous regions, no streams for open qualifiers, now this...

You keep proving my point too, what a coincidence! When Korean team gets beaten by EMEA / NA at Iceland, I will make sure to return here and laugh at your tiny miserable brain.
