SEN lost to Andbox as well. But they did bounce back later and won all the following matches. AND THEY WERE ABLE TO DO THAT BECAUSE NA HAD DOUBLE ELIM.

One loss doesn't mean that the team is bad. BDS, Acend, etc. all deserved 2nd chance. But shit format really fucked them up, and helped Liquid who were having a lucky run.

Single elim open qualifiers can't be a thing anymore when it comes to Ro16 or Ro8, since the possibility of fluke is damn huge, I mean look at BBG during NA Challengers 1 - they won one match against weak (then) Sentinels and it guaranteed them not only a spot in Challengers 1, but also a spot in Challengers 2. This is total bullshit and has to be changed, new treatment that was given to EMEA is way better.

Despite great Team SMG performance in Masters 1 (2nd place), decent Paper Rex showing in Stage 2 Finals (3rd place), Malaysia/Singapore still only gets 2 slots out of 16, while Vietnam receives 3, although both their teams definitely fucked up hard during Stage 2 Finals (9th-10th place lol).

Basically MY/SG is 2nd best region in SEA after Thailand, but still gets ignored by Rito Games who seem to prefer diversity over strength. This is very sad, since there are not only Champions, but also Last Chance slots on the line.

Fnatic, Blaze, G2 and Heretics qual from EMEA. Blaze gets 2nd at Berlin, Fnatic gets 3rd and quals for Champs cuz they have 350 pts already, Heretics 4th, G2 somewhere else. Just an example.

Heretics will qualify as 2nd to Champions because they have 70 points advantage FROM ANOTHER ROSTER DURING MASTERS 1 WHICH HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CURRENT ROSTER. Even though Blaze performed slightly better at Berlin and collected 50 pts more, it won't be enough to surpass Heretics.

Riot have their own inner ranking for seedings and nobody has access to it. But it's still ONLY REGIONAL, it's not like they compare G2 (EU) to Cloud9 (NA).
