16 is a kinda traditional number for hosting a final event of the year. You can make 4 groups per 4 teams, then 2 best from each group advance to double elim playoffs etc...

If Riot make Champions 18 or 20 teams the tournament format won't be so smooth like I mentioned before.

My solution is to reduce SEA slots from 2 to 1. Zero viewers, zero competition, zero skills yet these bots will rob some decent NA or EMEA team from attending a tourney.

Holy shit they should consider stealing 1 SEA Champions slot and giving it to Turkey/CIS. Also increase the amount of Masters teams from 10 to 12, adding 1 to NA and 1 to Turkey/CIS.

By the way, exactly the same thing occurred in Challengers 1 with XSET and Gen.G.

XSET got lucky opponents and won NRG and Envy (both were weak at that time), meanwhile Gen.G won NRG and then had to face SEN, who accidentally dropped to lower bracket after losing to LG in initial match.

Double elimination bracket has its own disadvantages like these. But it's still better than trash single elimination that EU used in Challengers and Brazil will use in Masters.

I get your point I'm not stupid, and it's not me who downvotes you

Tournament brackets don't care about practice time bro. I agree that TSM weren't lucky this time but it's only because 100T instantly lost in upper bracket. Things could go different.

Well 100T lost to NRG in upper bracket back then. Which "technically" means that NRG were stronger than 100T. See? Bracket makes sense now.

Of course we both now that 100T are gods and NRG are trash but nevertheless 100T lost to NRG. Gen.G got the "harder opponent" - NRG, meanwhile TSM got the "easier opponent" - 100T.

I want to congratulate Faze in advance on winning the Valorant NA Masters Stage 1

This team is just built different and they always peak at the right time

2 for 2 in big tournaments for Faze and their ERA officially begins, can't wait to see them annihilate EU bums like fnatic, liquid and G2

Why did they downvote you for a joke

Moses coach be like: endlessly walking around the room and not even bothering to watch the game. That's what he does on Liquid.

Yep, KR and EU will be dominant once Masters hit. These regions deserve more slots for Champions.

posted about 3 years ago

If they have no chance against EU teams it doesn't mean that they have no chance against SEA/JP/KR/BR/LATAM teams. Who knows, maybe EU and NA are so damn dominant right now that all other regions will get humiliated even by Turkey/Russia.

I just wanna see 16 best teams in the world at Masters, and it looks like SEA gets too much slots. You might disagree with me but that's my opinion.

Yeah, nice logic mate. Why bother giving Russian/Turkish team a chance to take at least 5th-6th place at the main tournament? For you only Winner matters right? Other placements don't matter?

Now we will see that some fucking SEA flukes will take those placements that could be potentially taken by Russian/Turkish teams. Are you happy with that?

So in other words you consider EU weaker region that NA, BR, KR and JP? Lmao.
EU is the 2nd strongest and the most stacked region so far. They do deserve more slots.

One of the possible solutions is to increase the amount of teams at Champions from 16 to 20, adding 1 separate slot for CIS, 1 separate slot for Turkey/MENA, 1 separate slot for Oceania and 1 more slot to NA (because strongest region at the moment).

But who am I to judge Riot right?

posted about 3 years ago

Who cares they won't qualify anyway, neither will CIS nor Turkey nor Oceania. Riot fucked them up with their retarded slot distribution for Masters and Champions.

But at the same time SEA gets 2 entire slots for Champions without even having at least 1 decent team. I love Riot.

I don't know if you are stupid or trolling.
Ever heard of double elimination bracket?

EMEA - Heretics and FPX
SEA - Bren Esports
Latam - LazerKlan
Everything else just like you decided

It's not 10 players but ok

10 is such a bad number to make a tournament with. Perhaps we'll see 2 groups per 5 teams, and it will be a round-robin system. Then 2 best teams from each group will advance to semifinals or some shit like that.

Funny thing that South America receives more slots than entire EMEA lol. NA should have more slots too.

Have you ever wondered how many football/basketball players had huge problems with their ex-girlfriends (including rape accusations) but still remained on teams and lived happy lives?

Sinatraa isn't getting kicked. If he was a mediocre/bad player then Sentinels maybe would consider going for someone else. But he is the 2nd best on the lineup after Sick.

Ikr the whole story is extremely exaggerated and not that bad like many people on Reddit/Twitter think.
