Very possible tbh who do you have taking finals?

Celtic are gonna get out classed by the Heat, I think Heat win it in 5.

You play all 24 rounds in scrims

posted about a year ago

One issue that still seems to be true is that NA teams are less serious.
In CS and in Val, teams say that there is a real scrim diff between NA and EU where EU teams play seriously to try to get good practice and NA teams play and than start trolling halfway through cause they lost the scrim or got bored etc.

These numbers are wrong, R6 averages over 100k players online at a time (I think u might be using just Steam numbers which excludes the Ubisoft Launcher, Console players etc.)

Same is true for RL etc.

CSGO is definetly alive but it isnt that much more alive than other esports

I mean Covid killed NA CS. Before, there were 2 teams in the top 10, and some pretty promising rosters like Chaos, C9 etc.
NA also suffered from a small playerbase, lack of practice, excessive travel for tournies, lack of local tournies etc.

dumb racism

Yeah for LOL I was looking at the MSI prize pool and I literally laughed. So little compared to R6, CSGO, RL etc.

Fake flagging, alt account, baiter...

Jawgemo goes crazy, c0m clutches some rounds, potter coach diffs: EG 2-1 C9

P.S. these are my two favorite teams so im mostly cheering for a good game.

posted about a year ago

Forgetting how close that series was...

That series was closer than Optic vs Loud and it was just a close as FNC vs Sen

3-0 doesn't tell the whole story and a lot of times a 3-0 can be closer than a 3-1 or even a 3-2 depending on map scores

posted about a year ago

Ofc... TSM getting underrated by everyone rn. Did people forget that they are very much like the new 100T but that they beat that new 100T which just beat the Guard?

Bruh u 3/6 thats literally like using a coin, don't flex this

Exactly, people be underrating EG

posted about a year ago

nah, they are hardstuck plat but think that they deserve to be in Radiant

posted about a year ago

We'll see about that...
I feel like EG has a decent chance at beating Faze, LG, and Sen so they could easily make playoffs.

Also, I feel like LG and Ghost definitely have less fans EG is prob just a little below NRG

<3, Its a good, undervalued, org and I love c0m and potter.

Kristof... That guy just has an NA hate boner and doesnt even try to use his brain. Obviously he is just baiting but its hella annoying.

EMEA teams don't even have to do open quals because there is no competition LOL. NA teams have to fight for their spots and there is a ton of competition. People constantly say that EMEA is the deeper region but I whole heartedly disagree. FPX and M3C carry EMEA and the rest of the teams would struggle in NA open quals.

posted about a year ago

the record in 12 match ups is EMEA 7, NA 5.

EMEA has a slight lead but that will be gone after Master Copenhagen

???

NBA Players take big falls and are back up in 2 seconds, soccer players touch each other and fall to the floor writhing in pain. I understand that this is due to the rules of the game but it is absurd how much flopping is now part of soccer.

He exploited one of biggest bugs in CSGO history which essentially let him spectate the game and give info to his team. Also, after his org got rid of him, he leaked their strats to their biggest competitor.

posted about a year ago

Is this a joke? NA has way more signed teams than EU and I don't see how youre deciding that some EU teams are t1 while some NA teams aren't when we have seen very little inter-region play.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah they look pretty good, but Im talking about a team that can be top 6 NA in stage 2.

posted about 2 years ago

Still tier 1 pros though, do people forget that Ethan and Tarik were beating close to prime Astralis in lans right before Covid. They fell off during online CS when NA teams had no prac and had to be constantly flying to Europe, dealing with quarantines etc. to even play.

posted about 2 years ago

legit funny. Nivera never even played a lan. Ethan won multiple lans and was a top 20 player in CS(On hltv's list...)

posted about 2 years ago

Ethan? Tarik? Both were on EG who were the #1 Team IN THE WORLD in 2020

Vlr has c0m igling. Also, c0m igled on Akrew (Meant to respond to #5)

posted about 2 years ago

Sorry if it wasn't clear. My list of teams was: EG, 100t, TSM, NRG, Akrew.

The other teams were three teams that didn't make the cut and I was explaining why.

posted about 2 years ago

NA has a lot of new look teams who have recently switched out at least one player. Here are a few that I think look good enough to make a run in Challengers 2.

EG: They have recently added c0m who is a good, if unexperienced, IGL. I think with Potter's guidance this team can be really good.

100T/TSM: The new look 100T and TSM teams both look good, they are pretty well structured, and I think that they will continue to improve quite a bit.

Akrew: After losing Kanpeki, Akrew have continued to look good and I think that they are still improving: dangerous team that people need to watch out for.

NRG: This is the team I'm least certain about despite the perfect run. I feel like s0m is still a little inconsistent and while they have proved they don't need him to win, they might struggle when getting duelist diffed. However, Ethan has slotted in very well and this team can definitely make it far assuming they keep form and continue to work on strats.

Notable teams I didn't mention:

Faze- This team has a lot of fragging power but I wasn't impressed by their strats, I think they will be exploited by better teams and wont do too well without BabyBay going crazy. Also, dont like Supaman too much on this team but I need to watch more of them to see if his impact is less obvious.

NYFU- They are close to making the list but I feel like they need to work on their comps and strats a bit more.

Ghost- This team gets a ton of hype but I don't see it. They seem inconsistent and their play seems kinda readable, especially given how many vods teams have access to.

Girl Kissers is RNG, they are a pretty good team and V1 has obviously been struggling, spending time integrating Wardell and then going back to Wippie.

Its very different standards. Your argument would have marathoners like Kipchoge be the pinnacle of athleticism and it would leave people like Usain Bolt as mere footnotes. Athleticism is not just how much you can run... it is a mixture of speed, endurance, strength etc.

An NFL player could crush almost any soccer player like a doll and NFL players probably spend a lot more time on conditioning and strength training than soccer players do, they train for different jobs so their athleticism expresses itself in different ways.

TLDR: Running != athleticism

posted about 2 years ago

Google DK Metcalf and repeat that comment. NFL players are elite athletes imo more so than most soccer players.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah, I just finished watching the interview and the way Chet talked about M3C makes them out to be the no contest #1 team in the world. He said that Optic was lucky to get 7 rounds in a 24 round scrim and that they took a lot of strats from Gambit (Sentinels did 2).

Sad that a team that is the best strategically and one of the best mechanically doesn't get to play, hope to see them at masters 2.

posted about 2 years ago

Bad Argument. If EMEA was the undisputable best region then at least one of Liquid(4th best), and G2(2nd best) would have placed in the top 4.
What I see most EMEA fans saying is that FPX was the best team by far and thus it isn't fair to judge EMEA off the other teams but that is exactly like NA fans claiming that NA was the best region in CS when Liquid was dominating everyone and winning the Grand Slam.

posted about 2 years ago

Honestly, the 3, 3-0 grand finals were all really close. In terms of RD, Berlin and this masters were the exact same. IMO, in terms of dominance, the ranking is:

1) SEN v FAN (3-0)
2) Optic v Loud (3-0)
3) Gambit v ENVY (3-0)
4) Acend v Gambit (3-2)

[if you want to rank via closest series it would be the opposite]

IMO FNS whiffs because he is aiming for where the person will be in the future. He is just too smart for his own good.

posted about 2 years ago

?? This level of Valorant is imo the best ever but NOBODY can claim it isnt better than Masters Iceland last year

posted about 2 years ago

Daddy FNS got the best midround calls

posted about 2 years ago

That is only for the Asia LCQ for champs when they combine all the Asian regions just like they combine BR + LATAM (two diff regions)

posted about 2 years ago

Tru, they went to 5 maps in the Leviathan game and Leviathan got destroyed in the South America LCQ by NIP

posted about 2 years ago

I mean for VCT, Asia is divided into JP, KR, and APAC
For ranked it is APAC, KR

VLR Moment: Kick the player with the worst stats and bring in a high stat player = instantly better team.

posted about 2 years ago

Per Valorant rules, Coach's are only allowed to talk during tactical timeouts. IGL's do the calls for each round and FNS's speciality is midround adjustments, taking the information his team collects and giving his team the best chance to win.
