Valorant as an esport is unique in that every tournament feels close, and every region is competitive and could potentially take home the trophy. Every team carries with them the hopes of their region and fans of all regions carry a passionate support behind their region's favorite teams; I mean just look at the Brazillians and LOUD.

But that's the issue; NAVI is gonna win Champs, and they're going to start winning every single tournament after that.

If NAVI is gonna keep winning tournament after tournament it's gonna get boring for a lot of NA and APAC fans. Hell, even the Fnatic fans might stop watching valorant altogether.

s0m: Was integrated into the optic core, was rough around the edges and made some mistakes with his smokes at the start, but through FNS and Chet's guidance, he developed well beyond the jett main he originally was into a top smokes player internationally that is well attuned to the optic core's system.

TenZ: always been on an experimenting team. Had no guidance from a consistent core or IGL to improve with. Was forced to always be learning through trial and error as every iteration of his team looked for a style that worked for them, his only victories incentivized the idea that the only way to close the gap between his and other teams is by crutching on his and his team's firepower

The blame isn't on any player as to why TenZ turned out this way imo, the blame is on Sentinels as an org for having such a rotating roster

Despite all the hate this guy gets im kinda glad he's so transparent on twitter about riot's plans; it definitely feels a lot more accommodating to player concerns than LOL for instance.

He makes some stupid mistakes sometimes like with tier 2 but i'm just glad he's willing to fix them and not pull an overwatch

he's not the best, but i'm kinda glad this guy is in charge of valo esports; i mean with how often esports projects fail and the lack of precedent for a project like this one im willing to forgive some misjudgements he may make if he's willing to fix them.
