For me I like ego from people that earn it. I don't think EG has solidified its success enough to warrant an ego. There's wayy too many stories of teams in this game making insane runs and falling off almost immediately afterwards.

Don't count on it; us NA fans had a lot of run-ins with trying to find another team to compete alongside OpTic on the world stage all throughout 2022, but TGRD, XSET, and 100T never ended up doing much

NA doesn't have very many cracked Sentinel players as a result of IGLs typically playing sentinel and chamber meta weeding out a lot of the ones that did exist from competitive play; same reason EMEA doesn't have any individually good smokes players. So, nAts, Alfajer, and Suygetsu are one of a kind.
But as far as CNed, Shao, Derke, Leo Trexx and Sheydos goes...
Leaf, trent, Demon1, crashies, NiSMO, zekken, and Xeppaa all match them and in some areas surpass them
Additionally, I don't think EMEA has anyone one the caliber of Marved, s0m, or Bang
Demon1 probably has the best mechanics
